On Sunday Dr. Peter Vincent Pry warned that North Korea may be secretly planning an EMP attack on America
During an interview with Breitbart News’ Aaron Klein the executive director of the Task Force on National and Homeland Security and the current chief of staff for the Congressional EMP Commission warned that Kim Jong-un’s regime may be secretly assembling the capability to take out significant parts of the U.S. homeland via an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack delivered by either of the two satellites Pyongyang currently has orbiting the planet.
“During the Cold War, the Russians had a secret weapon they called a fractional orbital bombardment system,” Dr. Pry explained. “And the idea was to do a surprise EMP attack against the United States by disguising a warhead as a satellite. Because a satellite trajectory is different from an ICBM trajectory that is aiming to go into a city. You know, for accuracy on an ICBM you launch it on a lower energy, 45-degree angle that follows a classic ballistic trajectory. Like a rifle. To land your missile on a city.”
“They are positioning themselves as sort of a nuclear missile age, cyberage version of the battleship diplomacy in my view,” Dr. Pry said. “So that they can always have one of them (satellites) very close to being over the United States or over the United States.”Dr. Pry was referencing North Korea’s KMS 3-2 and KMS-4 “earth observation” satellites launched into orbit in April 2012 and February 2016.
Dr. Pry also detailed that Russia’s Cold War era plan involved secretly placing a nuclear weapon on a satellite to be a perpetual deterrent in orbit, outside the reach of conventional ground assets.
“So, the idea was to put a nuclear weapon on a satellite. Launch it on a satellite trajectory toward the south so it is also flying away from the United States,” Dr. Pry said. “Orbit it over the South Pole and come up on the other side of the earth so that it approaches us from the south.”
“Because we didn’t during the Cold War and even today we still don’t have ballistic missile early radar warnings looking south. We don’t have any national missile defenses to the south,” Dr. Pry continued. “We are blind and defenseless to the south. We can’t see anything coming from that direction. Then when this gets over the United States you light it off so that it does an EMP attack.”
North Korea, by contrast, “doesn’t have enough missiles or sophisticated missiles to blow up our missile bases and bomber bases. What they seem to be doing with the satellites is the EMP part of the Soviet plan,” Dr. Pry concluded. “I think what they are mainly going for is the unhardened electric grid. Transportation, communications, all of the other civilian critical infrastructure that we depend upon to keep our population alive.”
Based on this analysis Dr. Pry believes that reports of the recent nuclear missile tests being failures are incorrect, pointing rather to the hypothesis that North Korea has been successfully developing their EMP delivery mechanisms with those launches.
“I am looking at an unclassified U.S. Government chart that shows a 10-kiloton warhead (the power of the Hiroshima A-Bomb) detonated at an altitude of 70 kilometers will generate an EMP field inflicting upset and damage on unprotected electronics,” Dr. Pry wrote in a story published by Newsmax last week. “On April 30, South Korean officials told The Korea Times and YTN TV that North Korea’s test of a medium-range missile on April 29 was not a failure, as widely reported in the world press, because it was deliberately detonated at 72 kilometers altitude. 72 kilometers is the optimum burst height for a 10-Kt warhead making an EMP attack.”
While the international community and news media focus on North Korean missile tests and the country’s nuclear program, one expert warned on Sunday that North Korea may be secretly assembling the capability to take out significant parts of the U.S. homeland via an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack.
Dr. Peter Vincent Pry is executive director of the Task Force on National and Homeland Security and is the chief of staff of the Congressional EMP Commission.
Speaking on this reporter’s talk radio program, Pry pointed to two North Korean satellites that are currently orbiting the U.S. at trajectories he says are optimized for a surprised EMP attack. “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” is broadcast on terrestrial radio on New York’s AM 970 The Answer and NewsTalk 990 AM in Philadelphia and online.
Pry was referring to the KMS 3-2 and KMS-4 earth observation satellites launched by North Korea in April 2012 and February 2016 respectively.
He warned: “They are positioning themselves as sort of a nuclear missile age, cyberage version of the battleship diplomacy in my view. So that they can always have one of them (satellites) very close to being over the United States or over the United States.
“Then if a crisis comes up and if we decide to attack North Korea, Kim Jong Un can threaten our president and say, ‘Well, don’t do that because we are going to burn your whole country down.’ Which is basically what he said. I mean, he has made threats about turning the United States into ashes and he connected the satellite program to this in public statements to deter us from attacking.”
“If you wanted to win a New Korean war,” added Pry, “one of the things you would certainly consider doing is taking out the United States homeland itself.”
“I think what they are mainly going for is the unhardened electric grid,” Pry surmised. “Transportation, communications, all of the other civilian critical infrastructure that we depend upon to keep our population alive.”
Last year, Barack Obama administration turned over $1.7 billion to Iran in two separate transactions. The first installment was $400 million in hard cash, flown out on a Revolutionary Guard plane in the dark of night. The transfer amounted to partial payment of a ransom of four Iranian-Americans and, when it was uncovered, the Obama administration said it was Iran’s money and it would be used to improve their economy.
The former president said the removal of sanctions, which included the release of these funds, was a goodwill gesture, not a ransom. He also released 21 or more Iranian spies as a goodwill gesture. Congress is now investigating that activity because it is said to have severely damaged his own counterterrorism unit.
After the transfer, then-secretary of state John Kerry admitted at least some of it would be used for terror.
Iran requested cash because because it’s hard to trace.
According to a Saudi Arabian newspaper report on April 25th, Hezbollah had received $600 million worth of Iranian aid. The Al-Youm newspaper reported that the aid was transferred almost completely in hard cash, and is being used for the terror group’s institutions and salaries paid to its terrorists and their families.
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan started a new blood libel against Israel on Monday, claiming the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to change the status quo on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount.
The accusation is one that nearly always guarantees terrorist attacks, Arab riots and worldwide unrest among millions of the faithful in the Islamic world.
Perhaps that was why Erdogan aimed straight at the site, which is the heart and soul of both Judaism and Islam, and where the eyes of the world are locked in place around the clock. Such a claim was also guaranteed to immediately deflect attention from difficulties Erdogan is facing at home.
In addition to being the holiest site in the Jewish faith, the Temple Mount is the third holiest site in Islam, home to Al Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock.
Speaking at the International Al-Quds Forum in Istanbul, Erdogan called on Muslims to ‘visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque often to protect the Muslim identity’ of the Temple Mount, according to a report by the Turkish Daily Sabah newspaper.
“As a Muslim community, we need to visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque often; each day that Jerusalem is under occupation is an insult to us,” Erdogan was quoted as saying.
He added the international community has been silent in the face of what he called Israel’s “massacres and cruelty” to Arabs in the Palestinian Authority, further whipping up a frenzy of hate against the Jewish State.
Erdogan has long been a warm supporter of the Hamas terrorist rulers of Gaza, and the Muslim Brotherhood organization that gave birth to Hamas.
But Monday’s open attack and clear attempt to ignite a third intifada from the steps of the Temple Mount came as a surprise to many.
Moreover, Erdogan went on to raise fierce objections against an Israeli legislative measure intended to limit the use of outside loudspeakers – the time of day and the volume – employed by mosques for their traditional calls to prayer, which are broadcast five times a day, including in the middle of the night, at about 3 am.
At no time was there ever a motion or ban for “morning prayers to be silenced in Jerusalem” as Erdogan claimed in his fiery speech.
Over the past two centuries, Europe has become increasingly secular.
Scholars in fact no longer talk of the Christian West when they speak of Modern Europe and North America, but of the Secular West.
There is however evidence of a spiritual revival stirring on the continent where God is supposedly dead. For example, France and Eastern Europe appear to be in the midst of a Christian revival as the Catholic church seems to be re-emerging as a cultural and political force in France and some eastern European countries, particularly Hungary and Croatia. This is also true of the native Protestant churches in those countries. The Eastern Orthodox Churches are enjoying the same resurgence in countries like Russia and Georgia. Christianity is however not the only spiritual tradition experiencing a revival on the home soil of the Western, Slavic, and Byzantine civilizations.
Even older traditions pre-dating the appearance of the Jewish carpenter turned Messiah are beginning to re-emerge. Since the 19th century, there has been an increasing interest in ancient pre-Christian European religions such as ancient Greek, Germanic, Celtic, and Slavic paganism. This stems from an increasing interest in spirituality in Europe, specifically a spirituality in touch with European heritage and ethnic roots in a similar manner to indigenous religions of Native Americans and Aboriginal Australians.
Among modern Pagans, there are two approaches to reviving pagan practices. One is eclecticism or syncretism, in which elements of historical ethnic religions such as the ancient Norse religion are combined with modern movements such as Wicca, Theosophy or other New Age philosophies. This is largely based on romantic views of these ancient religions which emerged in the 19th century which may or may not be historically accurate.
The other approach is polytheistic reconstructionism which is an attempt to make an historically accurate reconstruction of these ancient religions based on historical sources, archaeological data, and perhaps ethnographic comparison. Reconstructionists avoid embellishing ancient pagan religions with modern movements and ideologies.

Paganism is certainly alive and well on planet earth. Here
in Hobart, Tasmania, a sleepy part of Australia, a local museum is planning a bloody event during which a bull will be sacrificially slaughtered. Despite Christians signing a petition against this event, it is going ahead and all seats are booked out.
Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus!
