The United States and Israel were in discussions over whether Israel should take out Syrian weapons facilities as the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad falters, The New York Times reported Thursday.
According to the report, which cited two administration officials, the United States is opposed to such an attack "because of the risk that it would give Mr. Assad an opportunity to rally support against Israeli interference."“We believe that the assassination of the top Syrian government officials will speed up Assad’s downfall,” Barak told Panetta, who is scheduled to visit Israel later this month. “We are also closely tracking the possibility that Hezbollah will try to move advanced military platforms or chemical weapons from Syria to Lebanon.”Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah confirmed in a Wednesday that Syria provided arms not only to Hezbollah, but to terrorist groups in Gaza as well.
King Abdullah II of Jordan warned Wednesday that the situation in Syria is spinning out of control and in a worst case scenario al-Qaeda could obtain some of the regime’s chemical weapons.
“Our information is that there is a presence of al-Qaeda in certain regions inside Syria, and has been there for a while,” he told CNN.
Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said that Israel had “solid evidence” that Hizbullah and Iran were behind Wednesdays attackSpeaking Thursday morning, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said that Israel had “solid, indisputable evidence” that Hizbullah was behind the terrorist attack in Bulgaria on Wednesday. “Hizbullah terrorists undertook this attack, aided by Iran's Revolutionary Guards.” Lieberman added that Israel had made a “positive identification” of the terrorists involved in the attack. After the attack Wednesday, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said in a statement that “all the indications are that Iran is behind this deadly attack.
The tactics Iran, Syria and Hizballah have set out for escalating their terrorist attacks on Israel differentiate between “local” and high-value “strategic” targets. They have now decided to up the assaults on the latter to keep pace with the worsening war situation in Syria and the approach of an attack on Iran’s nuclear program. The US and Israeli leaders agreed to work together in the investigation of the bus explosion in Bulgaria.
Our sources stress that this is just diplomaticspeak for holding off on action. Despite Netanyahu’s pledge of a “strong response” to the attack, it was decided that a proactive response to the attack by striking an Iranian or Hizballah target would exacerbate a situation which US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta described as “spinning out of control.”Israelis have learned in the three years of Netanyahu's tenure as prime minister that expressions like “strong,” “forceful,” “determined” “we cannot tolerate” etc. mean just the opposite. Israel’s enemies also understand him to mean that he will sit tight and do nothing. However, an escalation of attacks on Israeli “strategic targets” predicted by intelligence experts in the coming days may make this do-nothing policy untenable. After all, talking to Obama won’t deflect Iran, Syria and Hizballah from their resolve to vent their urge for revenge on Israel.A few hours after the attacks in Bulgaria and Damascus, Nasrallah had found his tongue and was crowing:
"We know what your [Israel’s] first strike will be and we promise you a big surprise."His words were a warning to Israel and a message to Washington that anyone trying to reach the bunker in which he has been hiding since 2006 was in for a big surprise.
A week ago we reported news that Middle East veteran aircraft carrier CVN-74 Stennis was ending its brief sabbatical prematurely, and far earlier than previously expected, and heading right back into the field, er sea, of action. As Kitsapsun reported, "Bremerton-based aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis is returning to the Middle East much sooner than expected...with Iran making threats, crew members learned Saturday they'll be leaving again in late August for eight months."As it turns out, a third carrier was already en route, and as of today, CVN 69 Eisenhower is either at the opening of the Straits of Hormuz, or just past it. That makes 3 aircraft carriers in the middle east, 2 in the Gulf and the Arabian Sea and one just off the coast of Syria. And technically, the LHD 7 Iwo Jima Big Deck Amphibious ship, which is also just off the coast of Iran region, makes three and a half. Which means that a 5th one (rounded up) - Stennis - is coming in 1-2 months. Good luck Iran.
In unusually tough remarks, President Shimon Peres responded Thursday to the Burgas terror attack saying that Israel will hit terror nests around world."We were witnesses to a deadly terror attack coming out of Iran ... we know there were other attempts, and this time they succeeded," the president stated."It [Israel] has the means and the will to silence and paralyze terror organizations," Peres asserted.
Earlier Thursday Defense Minister Ehud Barak stated that Hezbollah was responsible for the terror attack in Burgas under the auspices of Iran.
"This is an Iranian terror campaign that is spreading throughout the world," Netanyahu said. "Israel will react powerfully against Iranian terror,"
Clashes erupted on Thursday near Syrian government headquarters in Damascus after rebels attacked forces loyal to President Bashar Assad, who have deployed armored vehicles and increased roadblocks across the city, activists and residents said.Fighting has been focused in the southern and north-eastern suburbs of the city, as well as the central areas of Mezze and Kafar Souseh where several security sites are located.Assad, who has not made a public appearance since Wednesday's bombing, was commanding the government operation, they said. It was not clear whether Assad travelled to the Mediterranean sea resort before or after the attack.
"Our information is that he is at his palace in Latakia and that he may have been there for days," said a senior opposition figure, who declined to be named.
The Assad regime provided Hezbollah and Hamas with the rockets fired at Israel during the 2006 Second Lebanon War and thereafter, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said on Wednesday. He also vowed to unleash a “new surprise” on Israel should it strike Lebanon.Nasrallah addressed a crowd of supporters gathered in the Hezbollah stronghold of Dahieh in southern Beirut via video feed on the sixth anniversary of what his organization regards as its victory over Israel in the Second Lebanon War.
The Hezbollah chief, speaking from a bunker, came out as more pro-Assad than ever, praising the Syrian regime for its support of the Palestinian cause.
Nasrallah remarked that the three members of President Bashar Assad’s inner circle who were killed in Wednesday’s bombing in Damascus were proponents of the “resistance” against Israel.
“Today Israel is happy about what happened in Syria, and justifiably so,” Nasrallah charged, adding that Israel does not want a strong Syria.
“My war is with the Israelis, my struggle is with the Israelis,” he said.
Iran is the “greatest exporter of terrorism in the world,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said after two previous recent attempted terror attacks on Israeli targets abroad. “There are no borders to Iranian terrorism,” was another sentence he used.
Today Peter Schiff stunned King World News by speaking about his single greatest fear. Schiff, who is CEO of Europacific Capital, gave an extraordinarily candid interview. Here is what Schiff had to say: “My biggest worry is that capitalism and the free markets will get the blame when it really hits the fan. When we get the real crash and everything implodes, and it’s really an Armageddon style collapse, my fear (again) is that capitalism and free markets take the blame for problems that were created by government.”Peter Schiff continues:
“Then we just finish our journey on the road to serfdom. We totally become a totalitarian, centrally planned, police-type state, where Constitutional rights go out the window. And really the only thing you can do as an American is leave.
We might have to have a violent revolution years in the future or maybe our children or grandchildren will have to fight for their freedom....Schiff went on to warn: “The unfunded pension liabilities are enormous (a staggering $4.6 trillion), from the Federal government on down to local school districts. All politicians around the country have been buying the votes of government workers with promises of huge pensions down the road.
The problem is as these government workers are retiring, there’s no money there. And the only way to keep these commitments is to massively raise taxes on the people who still have jobs. It’s a huge problem.
Ultimately the governments are going to have to admit they can’t pay these pensions and government workers are going to be in for a rude awakening. It’s not just the taxpayers, everybody is going to lose in this deal, especially if the government prints massive amounts of money to pay for these bills.
Economist Nouriel Roubini is standing by his prediction for a global “perfect storm” next year as economies the world over slow down or shudder to a complete halt, geopolitical risk grows and the eurozone’s debt crisis accelerates. Those factors are:
- A worsening of the debt crisis in Europe
- Tax increases and spending cuts in United Sates that may push the world’s biggest economy into recession
- A hard landing for China’s economy
- Further slowing in emerging markets
- A military confrontation with Iran
“Next year is the time when the can becomes too big to kick it down (the road)…then we have a global perfect storm,” Roubini said in a television interview with Reuters.
Have you ever wondered why things have been going so badly for the United States in recent years? Our economy is falling apart, we have been plagued with heat, drought and endless natural disasters, our cities are absolutely crumbling, we just keep getting involved in even more wars and Americans are more anxious and more overweight than ever before. So why are so many bad things happening to America? Why do we lead the world in so many bad categories? Why does nothing seem to be going right? Are we under some kind of a curse? It is almost as if we have entered a "perfect storm" that just keeps getting worse. At this point, many Americans have "crisis fatigue" because our problems never seem to end. Each new crisis just seems to overlap with all of the other problems that are still going on. So why is this happening, and what is our country going to look like if our problems continue to multiply at this rate? The following are some of the bad things that are happening to America right now....
Perhaps we are really cursed.
The U.S. economy is in a massive amount of trouble. There aren't enough jobs. There isn't enough money to go around. Business activity is slowing down again. Household wealth has been falling. Food prices have been rising. Many state and local governments all over the country are flat broke and are drowning in debt. The federal government has been rolling up unprecedented amounts of debt in an attempt to keep things going, but everyone knows that kind of borrowing is simply unsustainable. So where do we go from here?We consume far more than we produce and we use debt to make up the difference. 40 years ago the total amount of debt in America (government, business and consumer) was less than 2 trillion dollars. Today it is nearly 55 trillion dollars. How in the world did we let the total amount of debt in the United States grow more than 27 times larger over the past 40 years? Our economic system is fundamentally broken, but most Americans don't realize it yetHowever, the next great economic crisis is going to wake a whole lot of Americans up.
And when they realize what has happened to our future, they are going to be really, really angry.
It looks like we are on our own.
Soon, even more parts of the country will start looking like Detroit or Baltimore or Cleveland.
This country is rapidly falling apart, and the federal government is not going to save us.
That is why we need to focus on preparing to weather the coming storm on a family and community level.
There is hope in being prepared. The coming economic crisis will wipe out many Americans because they will never even see it coming. But that does not have to happen to you.
If you work really hard right now to prepare your family for the storm that is on the horizon, then you will have a much better chance of making it through to the other side.
You’re a Christian immigrant to the U.S. with a wife and newborn, but you feel strongly about the pro-life issue and periodically appear at a local abortion business to protest the killing and offer counseling should someone want that advice.
Then one day there’s a knock on your door, and two FBI agents identify themselves and start asking questions: Do you know pro-life protesters who are violent? Do you know pro-life activists who may be violent? To what church or church groups do you belong? What makes you believe in your cause? Why do you protest abortion? Are your friends aggressive or abrasive?
The interview stretches on.
Intimidated?
Then they note that you have a new family.
“You wouldn’t want to be apart from your wife and newborn,” they tell you. What about your mother-in-law, a nationally known pro-life activist? “Did you get your activist and pro-life ideas from her? Did she train or teach you?”
Are you intimidated now?
Then they warn that you shouldn’t trespass (even though you didn’t). Asked about the warning and why it was delivered, it gets repeated. And you’re told you cannot threaten violence, such as saying “If you get an abortion, I’ll see something bad happens to you.”
How about now?
He’s the son-in-law of pro-life activist Jill Stanek, a speaker, blogger and writer who was a registered nurse at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Ill., when she discovered babies were being aborted alive there and left to die on closet shelves without medical care.
She later exposed that Barack Obama opposed legislation that would have required doctors to provide assistance to babies that survive abortion attempts, a position that critics described essentially as infanticide.
The intimidation concerns the Life Legal Defense Foundation, which has advised Moore to have someone video his protest activities. The group promises to defend him if the need arises.
Allison Aranda, senior staff counsel, charges the Obama administration “is essentially engaging in a witch hunt.”“From the moment the new administration took office, the DOJ has been targeting peaceful pro-life sidewalk counselors,” she said. “They have come out guns blazing on several occasions, often bringing allegations that could later not be substantiated or in some cases clearly proven to be false.”
Stanek, who wrote about the episode on her website, noted that Aranda has seen the federal government use the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act to attack pro-life counselors. The federal law keeps pro-life counselors away from abortion business front doors.
Dana Cody, the executive director for Life Legal, told WND that the foundation for such aggressive tactics against innocent pro-life activists comes directly from the top. It was the FBI that set up a training program held several years ago for police who are called to respond to conflicts between abortion businesses and pro-life protesters.
These actions are “very chilling,” she told WND, “on private citizens, law-abiding citizens who are engaging in policy making speech in the public forum.“To make matters worse, why are they asking questions about [Stanek]? Reports show that pro-life people are considered domestic terrorists. Is she on that list? How did they make the connection? That’s the chilling factor.”Moore said he repeatedly was asked to name names of those who might be “violent or engaging in questionable activities.” But the agents assured him it would “not be snitching.”“Targeted bullying by our government because of an individual’s viewpoint and willingness to share that message in the public square is intolerable,” she said. ” … We will not back down, and we will not be threatened.”

We are moving at light speed toward the tribulation. Wow....I love seeing prophecy come to life. Please continue to pray for our men and women in the military. There will be some tough times ahead for them.
ReplyDeleteI love the wedding invite!!!! I can't wait to go home to our Fathers house!!!! Maranatha......we are going home soon!!!!
It doesn't take a brain surgeon or rocket scientist to figure out why the US is in big trouble today. It has abandoned Almighty God, pure and simple! And as the ancient Israelis found out the hard way, if you abandon God, He will abandon you. WE can sing God Bless America till we're blue in the face; but if America doesn't start to bless God, we're just wasting our breath.
ReplyDeleteAmen Dutch Treat.....your words are true.
ReplyDeleteLove, Love, Love the wedding invitiation! Seriously made my day!
ReplyDeleteCarry on brothers and sisters in God's Peace till we meet at the wedding<3 Marty
I love the wedding invitation too! Thank Him for His Grace! None of us are worthy. Its getting close!
ReplyDeleteAmen to Dutch Treat's statement. It is the truth.
ReplyDeleteGod bless everyone as we get closer to the day.

Nice try anon. And very helpful and uplifting. You must be a very very unhappy person.
ReplyDeleteAnon-
ReplyDeleteSincerely, this heart if yours is soBSAd, I am going to say this with GREAT compassion right now. Scott, if this must be deleted, I do understand. I just want the newbies to know this is not what God is all about.
What is coming out in your writings is deeply seated in your heart. Shame on you for representing the Lord, Our Father, as a compassionless man. Shame on so many levels. You call yourself a follower of Christ but you counter his word and intent hourly to suit your hardened heart. Clearly you are in some type of pain. We have tried to help over this period of time and to no avail. We must not get stuck here while you attack what is pure love of God. Attacking the host and others is not going to change Gods overall plan for our lives.
I can't imagine what justification you are using in your mind to think you are beyond being accountable for your ongoing hurtful games to both the saved and non-saved. Illness or not, you are going to be held accountable and it is through him that we seek refuge to overcome such cruel thinking. He would rather have your heart turned around right now and used to properly witness or have you take a time out and make sure you are being true to him before you continue to claim God is this cold hearted man that you hVe been promoting. Shame on you and because God does not even wish to loose one, may we all pull together daily and pray for you to overcome this affliction thT is both on your heart and your mind.
You need to be prepared for what is to come, not stomping on his good name and false witnessing like you have. This could seriously effect and confuse all. This is NOT what God is about except in your heart.
Please turn to him now and turn away from your false teachings. They are very off track.
In prayer, may God Bless and Protect you always.
GG

Intersting! I had only one try at this post, yet it has come up twice as a double witness.
ReplyDeleteWow! We must really be stirring up some ire in the demon world. Keep up the good work, Scott! ;-)
ReplyDeleteFor the life of me Christine - I just don't understand some folks - who can say such vile things, and then create 'strawmen' and accuse 'you' of something you never did or said. Its bizarre to me. And then to do it under the cloak of Christianity - is beyond perplexing.
ReplyDeleteEverybody else was ignoring it and I probably should have as well, but time after time - we see this - whatever anon who has nothing better to do than to stir the pot and look for conflict. I'm a 'harmony' person who hates conflict - almost to a fault - and that makes this scenario even more bizarre.
Two cents....I think the ignoring part is the best (and deleting)....Unless there is possibility for reasonable discussion and guidance, it is only a distraction and a bad example for new Christians who are looking for truth and fellowship here.
ReplyDeleteSatan has the pedal to the metal right now....in the Christian church, in the Christian circles, (and Christian blogs!), etc. I dont know how many times I wanted to respond to anons, but held back (if you knew me personally, you would be in shock ;) )
May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and teach everyone who comes to this wonderful fellowship of believers, and may He speak to those who, willingly or not, cause dissension.
Mike
Just amazing, amazn....
ReplyDeleteHere we are, witnessing God's word coming true before our eyes like never before since Christ walked the Holy Land....and all some folk can do is spew venom, false accusations, and worst of all...false teachings.
And some on here have agreed with them recently in personal attacks and false accusations.
We should be witnessing and staring slack jawed at The Word coming true before our eyes....not being a false witness, accuser, and strife bearer.
Scott, you know these attacks would not be here if you were not doing the Lord's work....and doing it really well. Satan would have no interest in you.
ReplyDeleteYou just keep agitating...be like sandpaper on the dark side, just keep sanding the tarnish down to let the light shine through.
The evil doers will keep exposing themselves.
And to echo Miss GG and Mike....just ignoring them seems to drive them crazy...they get more and more worked up with each passing post with no bites. Shucks, one of them is so predictable you can set your clock on their 20 minute intervals or post if they don't get a bite.
No one had anything to say about the "anon" attacking Brother Scott like the same “anon” person did to other Sisters & Brothers here over a couple of weeks ago, and continues? unlike the swarm the other day? The very owner of the Blog, and yet no one was “outrage” or “shocked”? Interesting...and very telling...
ReplyDeleteYes indeed dear Brother Scott, must be very, very unhappy person/persons...to attack the beautiful Wedding Invitation...wow that is sad to attack such a joyous hope to come...but then again, we know who it is and its always the same...and of course the “witches” comment would be next accusation…
We are so close! And don’t you KNOW the enemy knows his time is short, and what better way than through other “Christians” to distract from the Truth of the Blessing we are Witnessing! We shouldn’t be surprised; Timothy warned us of these “Christians” in these Last Days, so actually in their evil behavior, they are fulfilling Prophecy.
2 Timothy 3:5
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
We’re heading for the finish line Brothers and Sisters ! Look up! Look up! Our redemption draweth nye!
God Bless & Protect You Brother!
Thanks - I was having the same thoughts before logging on....You both hit on the most germane point - here we are in the midst of important signs being revealed right before our very eyes, and seeing the beginnings of the end and someone has nothing else to do but spread venom?
ReplyDeleteWe don't have time for this nonsense right now - of all times - there is too much going on, too many breaking news stories and too many fascinating developments to be distracted by these antics.
No. Now is the time to buckle down and anticipate the coming of Christ Jesus, and nothing is more important than that right now.
AMEN Brother!!!
ReplyDeleteDear Scott, Caver and Mrs.c
ReplyDeleteOf course many coming here are sad to read this mess when Scotts postings are so good and helpful. I think the reason people are not speaking up is that it only makes it worse. I don't think it is "telling" that people don't care. We love Scott and GG.
We have all been forgiven for so MUCH that accusations make us jumpy. But we have been forgiven and our remembering it helps us in our experiential knowledge of Jesus. ( 2 Peter 1)Defending ourselves in these attacks is fruitless . The Lord will do the defending. We can hurt people who are innocent when we start down that path.I agreed with one anon a couple of posts back and still agree with what they said. I hope that did not offend you Caver. I am confused by your comment about agreement. I haven't seen anyone agreeing here with this mean attack on GG's comments.
Have been praying for WV off and on today and we all hope to hear soon of his recovery.
Thank you Scott for your long suffering with us on this blog. We love you very much!
kr
The comment jumped before I got my name in the above comment. Waterer
ReplyDeleteHello everyone, I agree with Waterer. I read the comments every single day but I hardly ever comment myself...the one time I did comment, I got in big "trouble" and was chastised and accused of being someone else. Ive been coming to Scott's blog for years and years and this really hurt my feelings. I think the only reason people have not said anything lately is because of the big ordeal that happened the other week when innocent people got completely bombarded by accusations and called some really horrible things by other Christians on here. I have just chosen to ignore the comments I dont agree with so as not to "stir the pot" so to speak. I agree with Waterer...Scott's blog is a blessing to me and to my family, I love the people on here as well. We should not be so quick to judge.
ReplyDeleteKelly
Dear All,
ReplyDeleteFor some strange reason I'm feeling a need to put in my 2 cents here.
Scott, I love your blog and thank you for all you do.
There is wrongdoing here on BOTH sides. Please, EVERYONE, let's not respond when negativity comes to this wonderful site. In our responses, all of us - yes, ALL of us - cross over the line of acceptable behavior.
.
.
.
So here I go about to cross over that line...lol! (Scott, feel free to delete)
First, Mrs C... Really? Your first paragraph was completely insulting and demeaning to those of us who love Scott.
Anon, you are completely full of yourself. To compare a simple, imaginative invitation to the wedding supper of the Lamb to the heresy of the Galatians is a product of your over-active imagination and desire to write things which impress only you. It is laughable.
Speaking of which, you misspelled one of your impressive words in your diatribe. It seems that if one were to use the word stoicheia they would know that it need not be capitalized, nor does it have a r in the first syllable!
It is sooooo ironic Anon, that you speak of those who "put the birth-pang signs on a par with actual Scripture and drool over the asp bitten words of just a few" (which is so false, btw) ....yet YOU ARE HERE!!! WHY ARE YOU HERE if you are not INTERESTED in the birth-pang signs as well?!? And don't tell us it's to change our minds! Clearly you are interested!
Can you please leave this little blog and go hang out on someone like Hank Hanagraaff's blog? Their end-times exegesis is a better fit for you.
Oh, and one last thing. Anon most recent, you ALSO misspelled stoicheia. hmmmm...Interesting!.... Also, the statement "I ONLY post as ONE Anon" is adding confusion to the confusion. It makes absolutely NO sense whatsoever. And don't think it's because I don't know the whole back-story, because I do.
First of all Alice, I am sorry if my bad spelling and faulty grammar offended you. It isn’t a word that comes up on my spell check – I shall try to do better in future. You see the word stoicheia as ‘impressive’? I don’t see why, its no different from using many other Greek words that lose meaning in English.
ReplyDeleteYou have misunderstood, I did not compare the ‘invite’ to the Colossian heresy; I was making the point that more fuss was made over that inaccurate trifling, than Scripture itself.
Probably yes, I am ‘full of myself’’, no doubt you are too kind to list all my other failings as well – but I could add many others to any you and others put forward. I don’t think it is ever helpful to point out personal failings; we all have them, and that is a long way from pointing out a fault in an interpretation of Scripture.
Where did I say I wasn’t interested in the ‘birth-pangs’? Of course I am interested, that's why I like to read Scott’s news gathering exploits. As interesting as the birth-pangs are, I said I much preferred Phil4:8 to think about.
Hank Haanagraf is a Preterist, and I am a Futurist; so he wouldn’t ‘suit me’ for that reason, and many others. If Walter Martin was still alive, I would be happy to read his take on events; but being Postrib, I doubt he would have the same interest in the birth-pangs as Pretribs have. His knowledge of Scripture was remarkable and the way he was able to expose false teaching is legendary.
I consider all false teaching as ‘asp bitten’, whatever it is, it comes from that old serpent, the devil.
I am but ‘ONE’ Anon! Your confusion is puzzling since you are aware of everything here! I am who I am, and just one Anon, not many as has been claimed. In other words, there are others, beside myself who also choose to post as Anon; also contrary to accusations, I have no involvement with any of them, at least, not knowingly.
Why do men climb mountains? Because they are there. That’s the reason why I take issue with wrong interpretations and false predictions – not opinions or queries, but bold statements that effectively state ‘thus saith The Lord’ when I know The Lord has not said in accordance with written Scripture as there are no new revelations.
I have said it before, we are all called to be ‘watchmen’ to defend the faith and to contend for the faith against erroneous interpretations. It surprises me that that question is even asked! In my acquaintance are people well skilled in Scripture, to my shame – but they are Cessationists, and when I see the flagrant abuse of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, I realise WHY they have forced Scripture to teach the Gifts ended at the completion of the Canon. ‘Charismania’ has a lot to answer for, and the encroachment of pagan mysticism into the Church has become a sordid blight on the Body. It isn’t an option to ignore it and say ‘there, there, never mind’ to those who practise it.
I include myself in that without question. When I have erred, I have been grateful to those who have made clear to me my mistake so I could correct myself. I don’t like offending Jesus, and Jesus is The Word.
I think I have replied to all your queries?
Hi All~
ReplyDeleteFirst, Alice, I am so sorry but not regretful for asking you to put that up for me. I do thank you for doing that. It is a beautiful piece and I can't tell you the amount of people that I have been able to use that to open the door to conversation. For this, I thank you so much.
I promise, as God is my witness that those promptings (no matter what enticements to attack came at me) was given to me actually over a 3 day period. It was a beautifully felt, HS driven, moment to share to help spread the message. This is something I expect from a non-believer in an attack, not a believer and let alone --one of the same blog. That is a separate issue and will be handled in the Lords timing. We cannot be intimidated to NOT share the gospel, because that is just what the evil one wants in these last days. Those messages could be for someone and we do NOT want to block them. We do NOT want to miss doing the work of the Lord as he instructs us in these last hours. If we are not working for him then what are we doing, is something I ask myself often? After all this whole thing is about HIM not us.
The topics are divided as to what to do. I hope everyone can find it in their heart to see both sides and in time figure out the best, yet gentle way of addressing these attacks that we get. It is not OK to be verbally attacked by Christian brothers and sisters as the first standard of measure. Even if this behavior was to happen from a non-believer; we all have to learn to talk to each other, and not at each other as the other standard of measure. Sadly this has become the norm on other blogs; I do believe Scott's standard for human behavior are greater than those we may know of.
There is no reason for it, no justification, that we can keep trying to allow in these last hours. We have work to do for the Lord and this is not part of that, unless it is and it is making us better servants for him. :) Hurting others is NOT what the Lord is about, period. As I mentioned to Anon it is better to step back then to do a dis-service to the Lords work and create a train wreck trying to look superior to others, such as the happenings with anon each day.

ReplyDeleteHaving said that, ignoring these attacks, IMHO is warranted to a point, but when they become a lifestyle choice, which is what this person(s) lives to do, when even if they claim they are one or in with many, is not working as we can see and we give them the message we as Christian condone such vile behavior without any form of action. What would we do in our church? What would we do publicly? Where is the standing up for our Father in this picture? There are ways to deliver the messages without taking others down, I agree, but which behavior are we allowing in the long run? That is where we come up against God's will for our life.
I don't want to be part of any division, but I do not want to be lifting up this vile and disgusting behavior that lifts up the evil one, and then stand before my Father as he asked me why I just stood there while under attack. Not that we have to be reactive in nature, but we still have messages in any situation to deliver for him. Clearly, scripture and prayer irritate this person we know. That is a good thing. The word is our weapon in these last days. This is nothing compared to what we are going to come up against in the world in the days ahead, again who will we choose? The word is our weapon, not used as confetti, but to fight the good fight. This is spiritual war-fare, it is not personal. The evil one knows this and what does he want? He does not want the words of the Lord used to chase him off. We can't follow him.
Lastly, a point that I wish to cover in love is the topic of "I am not all, I am one." The bottom line to this is, what is our behavior that would put even one of us in that bad category? Either we are Christ like and for the Lord and all he stands for or we are not. We can't be wishy-washy about this, and I even speak for myself on all of this. Why is it OK to have any anons or names in with actions hurting others and the only thing we care about is are they on the anon team or not. We need to be for Christ and all he stands for not representing otherwise. I think what is happening, is they know they are exposed and trying to succeed in dividing us against each other.
Please we must keep it together and not let anyone(s) idea of stifling our growth be our measuring stick. This blog is a wonderful place and we are in the thick of it Dear Brothers and Sisters; we are going to be OK. We can use this time to refine our witnessing skills while standing up to evil. We may have to work at some areas, but we just cannot be on the side that justifies it. Being reactive at every turn is not good, Ignoring it too long is not good either. For any newbie or struggling Brother or Sister; this call to action either way could be a defining moment in their walk. We must stop and ask ourselves what would God do. I do know for sure he would not have a problem using his own words to combat evil.
We are so close everyone. Please let us pull together for good and come against evil the right way. I love and care about us all.
God Bless!!

all I have to say to Mrs. C and gg...that is the pot calling the kettle black....quote from you gg...
ReplyDelete"As I mentioned to Anon it is better to step back then to do a dis-service to the Lords work and create a train wreck trying to look superior to others, such as the happenings with anon each day.zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz'
This is the same behavior Mrs. C exibits on an almost daily basis. The words that have come out of that womans mouth are JUST AS BAD as "anons" ...in fact worse because they are coming from a proffessed "sister". It doesnt feel good does it, to be called evil or vile? Im through commenting, its pointless apparently as no one will ever admit their own wrongs but are quick to point out everyone elses.
Thank you, GG! Beautifully said! So many excellent points.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry that I allowed myself to be pulled in to this. It will not happen again.
And I still LOVE the Invitation to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb!
