What About Jordan?

That's a question that comes to mind frequently. So far, in the midst of turmoil in the Middle East, Jordan has had some small protests but the "Arab Spring" never really hit as it did in Egypt, Syria and Libya. One has to wonder what the fate of King Abdullah's reign will be in the coming months but thus far Jordan has been relatively quiet.

Today we see an interesting story worth reviewing:

Hamas Official: Jordan's King Abdullah Will End Like Mubarak

A Hamas official slammed Jordan’s King Abdullah on Thursday and said his fate will be similar to that of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

Mustafa Sawaf, editor-in-chief of the Gaza-based, Hamas-affiliated paper Felesteen, criticized the King for his support of the renewed talks between Israeli and Palestinian Authority officials.

In his editorial, Sawaf accused the Jordanian King of assuming Mubarak’s role in sponsoring negotiations between the PA and Israel. Sawaf said that doing so harms the rights of PA Arabs and would lead to the King being dethroned since, as he put it, “Whoever declares war on Allah will eventually go away.”

Earlier this week, Hamas leader Ismail Radwan said that the talks with Israeli envoys in Amman would damage Fatah's reconciliation deal with the terror group.

"We consider these meetings a blow for national reconciliation, especially as we agreed in Cairo to face Israel's settlements, wall, and attacks together," Radwan said.

Of course, it's hard to get through a day without a news story from Iran and today is no different. This one may indicate that the window of opportunity for dealing with Iran may be closing faster than originally thought:

Iran Close To Starting Nuclear Work In Bunker

Iran has taken steps in recent weeks that bring it closer to launching uranium enrichment deep inside a mountain, diplomatic sources say, a move that would worsen its nuclear confrontation with the West.

Iran has said for months that it is preparing to conduct uranium enrichment at Fordow - a protected site deep underground where it says it wants to make material for a peaceful nuclear reactor - but it has yet to start.

The West suspects it of seeking the enriched uranium for a bomb, and wants it to halt the plans. Were Iran to begin production at the site, near the Shi'ite Muslim holy city of Qom, it could make it harder to revive nuclear talks that collapsed a year ago.

Iran is already refining uranium to a fissile purity of 20 percent - far more than the 3.5 percent level usually required to power nuclear energy plants - above ground at another location.

It is moving this higher-grade enrichment to Fordow in an apparent bid to better protect the work against any enemy attacks. It also plans to sharply boost output capacity.

The machines and other equipment needed to start enrichment were installed at Fordow last year.

  1. Good evening ...how is everyone? i wish i wasn't so busy. id love to be more involved in the conversations, please answer me this question : i see the articles about the u.s. joining forces against iran but do you honestly believe Obama will do anything besides toothless sanctions which he will not likely enforce? i think a lot of it is talk for getting reelected

  2. I'm only guessing but, I reckon all the US troop movement into Israel and the movements of the "Stennis" annoying Iran is probably Obama appeasing his voters, OR! America is really going to pick a fight. I remember reading a while back that Iran was going to stop using the American dollor or something like that and for some reason.. That has always been touching a raw nerve for the American government. So I'm guessing Iran has to pay for that as well. The list of charges against Iran must be enormous lol!

Note: I read some where that there's another carrier on its way to the area.

So I'm thinking sanctions aren't working; it's time to kick butt.

  4. hartdwag- Welcome back. I do not think the upcoming war with Iran is about their nuke program or regime change. If we push Iran enough they will close Hormuz. We export more oil from Alaska than we import from the Gulf. We import most of ours from Canada and Mexico.

Europe however, lives on ME oil. If Hormuz is closed, the Euro will collapse, the EU will collapse, the European banks, insurers and financial institutions will collapse and drag the rest of the world down with it.

Then someone can step forward with a solution of peace.

Excuse me while I straighten my tin-foil hat :-)

  9. Stephen- Asia is fed by ME oil. China is Iran's biggest oil consumer. Does it seem rational to choke off the oil supply to the country you keep borrowing cash from?
The US could have gotten rid of the nukes when it was easy.

Whole bases world wide closed and locked down.
Forgive my runaway imagination Doc but perhaps this is what will bring down the US of A. No troops no defense force, no defense force no national security hence Marshall law....hey doesn't hurt to explore all possibilities!

  12. Hart,
I think the real question becomes "What do the globalists want" more than what Obama wants, because he is a tool for the globalists, no different than Bush IMO.

Given that, I am beginning to think that the Globalists do not want to see Iran with a nuke, so they may use the US and or Israel to take out those nuke facilities

  13. Whew…lots of ideas being discussed :) As far as Iran is concerned, they have attempted to undermine the U.S. dollar by creating the Iranian oil Bourse. Iran was hoping that other ME nations would follow, and countries would have to dump their U.S. dollar reserves, and replace them with the Euro instead. In other words, no one can buy oil from Iran in U.S. dollars, only Euros. This has been going on since the Iranian oil Bourse opened in 2008.
The closing of the Strait of Hormuz, is a different issue than the oil embargo against Iran. As Iran had made clear now for years, they have missiles aimed directly at the Saudi Oil fields, and will not hesitate to take them out. Should this happen, it will make the gas rationing in the 70’s look like a cake walk. Anyone remember those days? You could only by gas on “odd or even days”. YIKE! Folks don’t realize how much fuel effects their everyday lives. Oh sure, theres a trip to the gas pump and the high cost, but everything you see in a store, is trucked there. Talk about hyper inflation coming. Then this “we’ve got plenty of oil” here in the U.S. talk, is a misnomer. Yes, there is an abundance of oil in the U.S., but its not refined for use as gasoline etc! The oil refinery’s we do have, are old and in a limited number. New refineries are difficult to get build, thanks to all the environmentalists out there, and others with the “not in my back yard” attitudes. So if the Saudi oil fields end up destroyed, the world economy is in trouble big time!
I agree Hartdawg, Barry, the WH occupier is a coward AND everything he does is all about him. We, the U.S., is showing force, which is the only mentality that ME’s understand. However, this bravado, is empty, and the enemies know it. Under the current left administration, we are weakened so very obviously. If its obvious to us, its obvious to our enemies. As Bin Laden said, the U.S. is a “paper tiger”. As Hillary said to Israel a few years back, “we will defend Israel, if they are attacked”. Really? Being such a tiny nation as Bibi says, one “attack” is all it would take to destroy them. That is how Israel thinks, and silly ignorant Hillary, when Israel is attacked, its too late! I have worried for years, about our brave Men and Women being in the ME location when everything happens. As Gods Word says that Israel fights alone, no help. That concerns me greatly, because of the obvious question. Where are our forces in this? Either the coward in chief will pull them all out ahead of time, or…I don’t want to think of the “or”.
The U.S. troops in Israel, is part of a supposed “pre scheduled”, large joint missile defense exercise. JMHO, but I don’t believe that the enemies of Israel will try anything during this time of defense exercises, they would be stupid to attack when the forces are at a strong strength. However, that doesn’t exclude the classic nut jihadist named Habbeeb that’s hiding in the bushes and thinks he will start a war with some kind of launch.
Most important with ALL of this, is what Gods Word tells us. :) We know that Isaiah 17 is up next. We know that Israel will fight a MULITPLE fronted war, completely alone. No allies, no means of re-supplying, and there will be “desolation” as God tells us. Gods Word tells us that Israel will survive, but barely, and He tells us why He allows this devastation to happen.
Iran is not directly involved as a nation to nation war, in the Isaiah 17 war, other than their proxies. We next see Iran in the quickly following Ezekiel 38 invasion/war. When we next see Iran, they are weak, as God lists them as simple tagalongs with all the other followers of Gog. Something will indeed happen to Iran, whether it be a military strike, or it could be a giant earthquake, but something will happen to them to diminish them greatly…

    God Bless

Funny thing about these "globalists". They are but wee little men, running around the world with their plots and plans.

Oh ill be around....mostly on weekends or when i have the occasional question, particularly when a news story doesn't make prophetic or practical sense. besides, i think e.i, mrs C, nofog and caver cover everything very well, (Tho I'm not sure i agree with Mrs C and caver on psalm 83 but we'll find out very soon), I'm sure ull agree they cover everything very thoroughly and scholarly.

  20. Yes, Mrs C., I do remember the gas rationing /shortage of the early 70's : the stealing/siphoning off of others' gas, gas cap locks, very long lines at the pumps, the inevitable fights, and how one absolutely could NOT buy gas on certain days.

That is why I did not complain when prices went up, as at least I could still buy gas!

However, I also remember a couple of stories of pastors who needed to travel to either speak at conferences or perform weddings.

They testified of how their gas needles did not go down until they were either on the way home or home. It was like a "loaves and fishes" story, right out of the Bible.

This gave rise to the early 70's song:
"Give me oil /gas in my Ford,
keep me trucking for the Lord.
Keep me trucking til the break of day."

If we do experience some of the (pre)tribulation, God is able to take care of His own, if they are doing his Will/work.

  21. Mrs C there is a third option why the US is absent from assisting Israel in the next war....

You suggest Obama retreats or something really bad happens to our troops or my guess...

:) the rapture of the church comes first.

Maybe it is more hope than reality but I see Isaiah 17 and Ezekiel 38-39 wars as God turning His attention to Isreal because we/church are gone.

I would be interested to know why most think we are here for the first war but not the second?

I don't want to speak for Mrs C, but my thinking is more that we won't be here for Gog-MaGog and the chances are ~ 50-50 on being here for Isa 17. Make that 51-49; I'm a lean that we will be here for Isa 17 but I can't prove it scripturally.

  23. Oh, and I too very much remember the gas lines and getting in line around 4:00 am so you would be there when the gas station opened (on 'even' or 'odd' days)...That was a nightmare and for the life of me, I couldn't understand why we couldn't drill for enough oil here in the US since we have it in abundance....That was ~ 35 years ago and I still wonder the same thing. It will happen again, thats almost a guarantee IMO

  24. Hi Brother WV, :)
Whew, sorry for the delay in answering…just finished up work for the evening.
Yes, there is the option of the Rapture, as it is imminent. The closer we get to these events, the more we see. For example, never anticipated God allowing the evil plotting nations that surround Israel, to have the purest of their evil rise to the surface to take over their governments. It truly is amazing, because to me its almost like the final touches that God is putting in place. I keep seeing that God is allowing that purest of evil to rise to the surface in these nations, in preparation of Him wiping them out. His FULL Judgment is coming to them very soon for sure. God had Ezekiel devote 8 Chapters to the destruction of some of these nations surrounding Israel, and they have yet to be fulfilled in full. Whew…heavy duty Judgment is coming to Jordan, Gaza, Lebanon and Egypt.
Yes Brother, I agree…well in part. :) Isaiah 17 begins with God observing the battle. First Damascus, then Jordan, then the West Bank. Israel is fighting alone, and takes Syrian prisoners. Then, then dear Brother, something horrendous happens, that is catastrophic to Israel. It is only at the very, very end, when Israel already suffering greatly (God says there is “desolation”), only then does God step in. He goes from observing, to directly participating. That is at the end of Isaiah 17 Brother, and that is the beginning of His return to His People, not in full, but the beginning.
By the end of Ezekiel 38-39, God is fully back with His People. Restoring His Covenant with them, by then Brother, we the Church are surely gone! Praise God!

    God Bless You Brother! :)

  25. Hi WV...well, you wanted to know why some of us think we will be here for the first of the 2 wars.

In several places in the Bible we are told that the Lord wishes for all to be saved and gives some account of time and slowness.

    2Pe 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Its my belief that we will be strong witnesses once the balloon goes up...and will win many with our testimony ...and be persecuted mightily for it. But...our testimony of the accuracy of His word and prophecy will win many converts.

That's why I think we will be here...to win the last possible Brother and Sister.

  27. Thanks for the feedback regarding rapture pre or post Isaiah 17 discussion. Still hoping to be gone before Isaiah 17. Many will still be saved post rapture. It would certainly be a good witnessing tool as you suggest Caver but I don't really want to be around to see Damascus obliterated. ):

I'm not at all dogmatic on this point... but
    1. USA does not help Israel and the rapture is the best reason IMO
    2. Jesus returns as a thief in the night so we will not have any heads up warning
    3. Jesus comes back as in the days of Noah and Business as usual is about to end
    4. God is beginning to turn his attention back toward Isarel and away from the church
    5. We are saved by faith and not by sight

I certainly hope any "fence sitters" reading aren't waiting for Isaiah 17 to make a decision for Christ. You may not have that opportunity if the rapture occurs first. I guess God left this purposely ambiguous to keep the harpazo as an imminent event.

Today is the day of salvation!

On to another thought.. where are you gearedup2go, Seth and GG...missing your input and gifts on encouragement!

    Maranatha!

  28. Hi WV~

I am happy to offer up some gifts of encouragement, as always sorry if this is long but I want to share properly, not in blurbs or attacks. After Scott's site went rouge a bit ago, I have opted to turn toward the Lords word instead of mans mere speculation on these last days. Not to say that being here together in fellowship is not missed; I do miss you all, it is just counterproductive to dabble in things that are not TRUE in word and character which should be honoring the Lord first I am praying for you all, always.

Scott, I mean no offense to you and your site, please know that. It is wonderful and truly a Godsend. I know you mentioned you have been very busy and it seems the evil one has used this time to try to destroy all the wonderful work you have done. I am praying for you brother, that you will be able to come back help remind everyone that it's God FIRST and human thinking second :) I am sure he is going to be so proud of you when we get home to review all the work you did to help spread his word. He may be testing you to see what still needs to be refined on here as well.

As for the other sites mentioned by others, they are human driven and clearly having their own set of issues as well. I wouldn't put stock into one or the other. Lifting them up as Gods word first, no thank you. It's a nice reference point and resource, but we need to do a little work ourselves and search out what is true in our own personal walk with Christ. That which is pleasing to the Lord. At the end of the day it all comes down to mans mere speculation in these last days which can easily lead to harsh words, lack of love, gossip, slander and pure evil behavior at times. I am not into blogging so that keeps my stress level down quite a bit :)

I have to say I am quite shocked after checking out some of the sites referenced here on just how these CHRISTIAN brothers and sisters speak to each other when they are supposed to be true representatives of Christ. See, we are all fallible I guess. We need to choose our sources and our company carefully in these last days. This is spiritual warfare and it is transferable and we must be protected by the word. God wants us to know his word because that my Dear Brothers and Sisters is what will be our ammunition in these battles among the forces flying around us. We need to know the word in order to use it against the evil one. We have our work cut-out and make sure we have a bible handy when all other sources we may be used to go kaputs.

IMHO, I believe these topics are coming up because we are all getting ANXIOUS and lacking UNDERSTANDING---because we are truly anxious to return home. :) It's human nature and it's hard. God knows this. He understands. It is very hard when our lives are getting beaten around down here to so many varying degrees. We are all suffering on so many different levels. Our families are suffering greatly too. We were not designed for this at the onset of our relationship with Christ. We were born into an already sin ridden and fallen world. God knows the end to this story well before we came onto the scene.

Sure, we should always be doing our part to take those gifts and talents given by the Lord and use them as tools for survival while doing HIS will for HIS children for HIS purpose and for HIS glory in these last days. He has gone before us to know what is coming, we must trust HIM and HIM alone. The people of the world are so busy focusing on lifting themselves up or what is in it for me, that they lost sight of their true leader or never had it to begin with. We can help them with that---as painful as that may be. Didn't someone help us once?

  29. (Con't)

I remember when I first came to this group it seemed Ally and I were getting the same messages at the same time from the HS. He kept saying to me "Will you lay down your life for me?" It was constant many times during the day and during each week. I bet that went for a month or so.

So as I am reading all these great posts I was reminded of just that very thing. "Will we lay down OUR lives for him?" That is a hard thing to reflect on. If we will, we must have UNDERSTANDING and lean on him and not our own, correct? While doing all that, and operating in the HS and not spiritual self, we should come out being anxious for nothing. Again, that is hard. So now we must check ourselves. A while ago, I called it a heart check that the Lord reminded me of. Now it's time to get over SINFUL ourselves, and humbly step before the Lord for this heart check. It doesn't matter what we want to hear, but what does Gods word say about these things? When we are lacking understanding are we turning to mere men or turning to putting that word in our eye-gates, rolling them over in our mind-gates and letting them come out as the Lord intended from our mouth-gates?

Are we taking his word, every morsel and rolling it over on our tongues so to speak and savoring the flavor of truth while we wait? I am guilty of this, how about the rest of you? We are so busy these days that we want to treat the Lord like a genie in a bottle or with what I call drive-thru behavior and expect immediate results when we pull up? Did he not lay down his life for us?

So as you continue with your talks remember some of what you hear may not be tickling our ears, but may truly be striking us at the core of our being. It's OK. We want that in order to do a proper heart-check. We need to see how off balance from God, the core center of our being that we are. Otherwise we are operating in deception and not truth. We are masking reality and looking for a way to escape.

Something in another post was mentioned about loving your neighbor. One of things we have been taught in our teachings for the very reason to love your neighbor is as some have previously mentioned, not to be a proverbial door mat, but to forgive. It is to keep obstruction from resentment building in our hearts as we go through the hurt, disappointment, aggravation, etc. with that 'neighbor'. When we store hurt and resentment, it becomes a blessing blocker.

The Lord can't move us onto the next level until we have dealt with that. He can't penetrate our hardened cores of selfishness and deliver the answers if we are blocked. We need all the avenues opened to communicate with him in these last days. We are going to hit some tougher times before we go home. If not, our other Brothers and Sisters Saints will and we need to be receptive instead of blocked to do the will of God to get us all through it and for HIS desired outcome, not ours.

    ReplyDelete
  30. (con't)

Sorry, that is the way he operates. He needs us for HIS glory and HIS purposes not ours. We are vessels, especially in this last day for HIM, not us. So as I tie this together, remember we may be here for a bit longer and believe me I am just as ready to go home and get away from this as the rest of you, for our own reasons of suffering. But we must do this for the other SAINTS, not us. We need to be praying for them.

Those who are being persecuted, chained and shackled and beaten in cold dark places as we speak. Those who are being mutilated and are without food and protection as we speak daily. So many more horrific things that we should count our blessings right now that we don't have showing up at this time. Does that mean we are protected from persecution, no, but we should be thankful right now in this time to prepare for the Lord. We should be witnessing and acting like TRUE REPRESENTATIVES of Christ, not our version of what he should be like :) We should help those who are less fortunate and help them to see by our example what Jesus is like. One can have all the words to copy and paste and play games all they want, but sooner or later we will be standing before the Lord and the truth is going to come out, and I believe in front of each other too. We will have different mind-sets up there.

So now is the time to think Heavenly instead of Worldly. Put on the Shield of Armor and begin to prepare for battle. The dreams I had months ago kept showing me how dark and scary these times are going to be. I am not saying those are true and correct but they were just as clear as the rapture dream I was blessed with. It's sad to think we may have to witness this, but praise be to God for sites that are clean like Scotts who have people who care to share in the truth of what Gods word says. People who have taken the time to humble themselves in quite time to help us in these last days and genuinely care about our spiritual well being here.

I can recall in these dreams it was scary down to looting of our own homes and crying out to the Lord and just when we didn't think he heard, he came for us. I don't know if it will get this bad but like any good solider fighting for his Lord, his family, his country, you must prepare for battle, not create it. Follow the command of the Lord, not mere men. I hope this helps. I say this all with a loving heart and share what was revealed to me last night after these posts. Use this time to prepare for what might lie ahead.

    God Bless!!

  33. Barnes' Notes on the Bible

Be careful for nothing - That is, be not anxious or solicitous about the things of the present life. The word used here - μεριμνᾶτε merimnate - does not mean that we are to exercise no care about worldly matters - no care to preserve our property, or to provide for our families (compare 1 Timothy 5:8); but that there is to be such confidence in God as to free the mind from anxiety, and such a sense of dependence on him as to keep it calm; see the subject explained in the notes on Matthew 6:25.

But in everything - Everything in reference to the supply of your wants, and the wants of your families; everything in respect to afflictions, embarrassments, and trials; and everything relating to your spiritual condition. There is nothing which pertains to body, mind, estate, friends, conflicts, losses, trials, hopes, fears, in reference to which we may not go and spread it all out before the Lord.
By prayer and supplication - The word rendered "supplication" is a stronger term than the former. It is the mode of prayer which especially arises from the sense of "need," or "want" - from δέομαι deomai, "to want, to need."

With thanksgiving - Thanksgiving connected with prayer. We can always find something to be thankful for, no matter what may be the burden of our wants, or the special subject of our petitions. When we pray for the supply of our wants, we may be thankful for that kind providence which has hitherto befriended us; when we pray for restoration from sickness, we may be thankful for the health we have hitherto enjoyed, and for God's merciful interposition in the former days of trial, and for his goodness in now sparing our lives; when we pray that our children and friends may be preserved from danger and death, we may remember how often God has interposed to save them; when, oppressed with a sense of sin, we pray for pardon, we have abundant cause of thanksgiving that there is a glorious way by which we may be saved. The greatest sufferer that lives in this world of redeeming love, and who has the offer of heaven before him, has cause of gratitude.
Let your request be made known unto God - Not as if you were to give him information, but to express to him your wants. God needs not to be informed of our necessities, but he requires that we come and express them to him; compare Ezekiel 36:37. "Thus saith the Lord God, I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel to do it for them."

  36. Hi Scott~

Your welcome. May we all take today like a piece of solice and truly savor the flavor of the Lord. Each word, each meaning and slowly let it digest in our soul. Roll it over in our mouths, minds, and hearts. Calm down the mindsets a bit.

I believe he is trying to tell us all something through each of us right now. So, it will be our piece of church fellowship together. Soon enough these messages will be all that is left for those who are left behind.

    God Bless!!

    John 3:19-21

19.And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20.For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21.But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

9.He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.

10.He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

    2 Peter 1:19

19.We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

  42. GG, thanks so much for your encouraging words. They lifted me today, and showed me where the focus should really be. In the mean time, while we all wait, doing what God has called us all to do in these last days according His plan individually. May we all be strong in these last days, even to the point of death because we know we will have new bodies that are eternally joined with our souls at the last trump. Forever present with Him, our Saviour! Praise God!

  43. Dearest WV, Mr. & Mrs. C, Jec & Stephen -

You are all very welcome. I do not withhold fellowship to take away but to preserve my energy and sanity in these days ahead. I may have opted for different if I was healthier so choosing my battles wisely is the best advice I can give myself :). May God continue to guide and protect you all as you walk each day.

Stephen - continue the wonderful growth. You have been through a lot lately. Please be careful with who may be befriending you these days and ask for discernment. I worry for you dear brother and pray that those who are seeking your wisdom are genuine in nature. Keep doing what you are doing for the Lord. He is using you in ways that you never thought possible :)

    God Bless!!
