Rumors of War

The headlines tell the story:

UK Sends Most Powerful Vessel To Gulf

The UK is sending its most powerful naval vessel to the Gulf to counter any potential Iranian attempt to close the Strait of Hormuz, the Daily Telegraph reported Friday. The ship, a Type 45 destroyer named HMS Daring, will depart from Portsmouth on Wednesday and is set to arrive in the Gulf by the end of January. It is capable of shooting down "any missile in Iran's armory," according to the Telegraph.

The report came just two days after Defense Secretary Philip Hammond declared that his country would take military action against Iran if it carries out its threat to block the Strait of Hormuz. While on a visit in Washington DC. Hammond warned that any attempt by Iran to close the Strait would be "illegal and unsuccessful", adding that the Royal Navy would participate in efforts to ensure the free flow of traffic in the waterway.

The British daily cited UK Naval commanders who said that the ship's deployment will send a significant message to the Iranians because of its firepower and "world-beating" technology.

Iran To Hold Another Naval Drill Near Hormuz Next Month

Iran plans to hold another extensive naval exercise in the Strait of Hormuz in February, Iran's defense minister said on Friday, just days after a 10-day drill ended amid a spat with the U.S. over the crucial waterway.

The United States has dismissed a warning by Iran not to return a US aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf. The aircraft carrier USS John C Stennis left the Gulf on December 27 and a Pentagon spokesman said it would return.

Speaking to the Fars news agency on Thursday, Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi referred to the recently culminated drill, saying that "the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps plans to conduct its greatest naval war games in the same region in the near future."

According to a report by Iran's state television Press TV, the drill, the seventh in a series of drills dubbed the "Great Prophet," will take place in February.

The report of another Iranian exercise near the sensitive waterway came after the Israel Defense Forces said it would soon hold a major missile defense exercise with U.S. -forces.

Report: Two Russian Warships To Visit Syria

Two Russian warships are expected to arrive in Syria on Saturday, the state-run Itar-Tass news agency reported, a visit that will likely be seen as a show of force and a display of support for President Bashar Assad's government.

The official said the vessels, part of a group of Russian ships currently in the Mediterranean, were expected to spend several days at the Tartus facility, one of the Russian navy's few outposts abroad.

Russia has maintained support for the increasingly isolated Assad during a nearly 10-month-old uprising against his rule. The United Nations estimates the government crackdown has killed more than 5,000 people.

Amid global pressure on Assad, analysts say Russia's stance is rooted in resentment over Libya, reluctance to lose one of its few footholds in the Middle East and a desire to project a firm image in relations with the West in an election season.

Ahmadinejad: Israel's Attempts to "Judaize" Jerusalem Will Bring About Its End

Israeli attempts to "Judaize" Jerusalem will bring about its end, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday, saying Israel's occupation of Palestinian land was the most important topic in the world.

Speaking to a delegation to the Turkish-Palestinian Parliamentary Friendship Group, Ahmadinejad was quoted by Iranian state television that the "Zionists, who have no faith in religion or even God, now claim piety and intend to take away the Islamic identity of the Holy Quds."

"This ridiculous move is in fact the continuation of the colonialist polices of oppressors, which will not save the Zionist regime, but also take the regime closer to the endpoint of its existence,” the Iranian president added.

Earlier Tuesday, American officials rejected an Iranian demand that its naval vessels leave the Gulf, indicating that the threat itself was an indication that economic sanctions on Iran were beginning to take a toll on the Islamic Republic.

Also referring to Iranian threats on Tuesday, State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said the U.S. saw "these threats from Tehran as just increasing evidence that the international pressure is beginning to bite."

"They are feeling increasingly isolated and they are trying to divert the attention of their own public from the difficulties inside Iran, including the economic difficulties as a result of sanctions," Nuland told a news briefing.

In addition to the stories above, Caroline Glick's latest commentary is highly germane:

The Land-For-Peace Hoax

The rise of the forces of jihadist Islam in Egypt places the US and other Western powers in an uncomfortable position. The US is the guarantor of Egypt's peace treaty with Israel. That treaty is based on the proposition of land for peace. Israel gave Egypt the Sinai in 1982 and in exchange it received a peace treaty with Egypt. Now that the Islamists are poised to take power, the treaty is effectively null and void.

The question naturally arises: Will the US act in accordance with its role as guarantor of the peace and demand that the new Egyptian government give Sinai back to Israel?

Of course, we know the answer to that question after considering it for around 0.005 seconds.

Because if the Obama administration or whatever administration is in power when Egypt abrogates the treaty does not issue such a demand, and stand behind it, and if the EU does not support the demand, the entire concept of land-for-peace will be exposed as a hoax.

As if we didn't already know this.

Indeed the land-for-peace formula will be exposed as a twofold fiction. First, it is based on the false proposition that the peace process is a two-way street. Israel gives land, the Arabs give peace. But the inevitable death of the Egyptian-Israeli peace accord under an Egyptian jihadist regime makes clear that the land-for-peace formula is a one-way street.

Israeli land giveaways are permanent. Arab commitments to peace can be revoked at any time.

Then there are the supposedly iron-clad US and European security guarantees that accompany signed treaties. All the American and European promises to Israel - that they will stand by the Jewish state when it takes risks for peace - will be exposed as worthless lies.

As we are already seeing today, no one will stand up for Israel's rights. No one will insist that the Egyptians honor their bargain.

As it has become more apparent that the Muslim Brotherhood and Salafist parties will hold an absolute majority in Egypt's democratically elected parliament, Western governments and media outlets have insistently argued that these anti-Western, and anti-Jewish, movements have become moderate and pragmatic.

Leading the charge to make the case has been the Obama administration. Its senior officials have eagerly embraced the Muslim Brotherhood.

Also worth noting:

Despite the fact that Israel is wholly absent from Gaza, and indeed is being attacked from Gaza, no one has called for the Palestinians to give the territory back to Israel. The UN doesn't even recognize that Israel left.

Last September, the UN published yet another report labeling Israel as the occupier of Gaza. And in accordance with this fiction, the UN - along with the EU and the US - continues to hold Israel responsible for Gaza's welfare.

Ironically, Hamas itself denies that Gaza is under Israeli occupation. In an interview with the Ma'an news agency on Tuesday, Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar openly admitted that Gaza is not under occupation. Speaking of Fatah's plan to launch massive demonstrations against Israel, Zahar said, "Against whom could we demonstrate in the Gaza Strip? When Gaza was occupied, that model was applicable."

And lastly, the paragraphs below are worth bolding and never forgetting:

Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood and Fatah can all freely tell the truth about Israel and their commitment to its destruction without fear of any repercussions. They know that the Western powers will not listen to them. They know that they will never have to pay a price for their actions. Indeed, they know they will be rewarded for them.

Since the inauguration of the land-for-peace process between Israel and the PLO 19 years ago, the Palestinians have repeatedly demonstrated their bad faith. Israeli land giveaways have consistently been met with increased Palestinian terrorism. Since 1996, US- and European- trained Palestinian security forces have repeatedly used their guns to kill Israelis.

The US and Europe have continued to train and arm them despite their bad faith. Despite their continued commitment to Israel's destruction and involvement in terrorism, the US and the EU have continued to demand that Israel fork over more territory. At no point have either the US or the EU seriously considered ending their support for the Palestinians or the demonstrably fictitious land-for-peace formula.

The time has come for Israel to admit the truth. Land-for-peace is a confidence game and we are the mark.

  1. With this much fire power arriving in and around the Middle East region you wonder how anything or anyone would want to trigger something. Where is China? Shouldn't they be moving toward this area too as they are opposed to any new oil embargo exposed on Iran. I'm beginning to think that Russia, America, and China will some how be working behind the scene in this next huge conflict, if not directly?

  2. The rumors are that both sides are trying hard to provoke each other but TPTB are not intending to let it go until the Sept/Oct time frame.

But who knows....things are pretty dicey and the ME mind can have a short temper and long memory...all fueled by hate spurred on by their moon god.

I'm still looking for the conflict to be confined to Israel and the Isiah 17 crowd and somehow take out Iran's neighborly support. They might get real quiet if they loose Syria, Egypt, and Lebanon.

Are you saying that you think they will hold this off until Sept/Oct, or they will provoke something before that time?

I agree on the Isa 17 conflict

  5. Scott.....think is an interesting word.

But yes, I do....or at least a lot closer to then than now. It might not even happen as we envision it, at least if Israel cleans out the neighboring cesspool as we understand Isiah 17.

NO! I ain't giving no odds on that prediction.

  7. Caver, not sure if I agree with you. I don't see that we have that long, just my gut feeling though. Also, how many wars in history were not recorded in bible prophecy? What if China, Russia and the US were at each others throats at the same time when Isiah 17 unfolds? There's a reason that Israel is alone there, and perhaps conflicts elsewhere is what takes us out? It could be curtains for us here in America. I think my brain juices are a swirling around here. Lol! But really, who knows?

  9. Caver, yeah-I'm sure all of us can agree and scratch our heads with this: how can all this craziness continue year in and year out? But for some reason, every year, many of us think this is the year. It just seems that this time around is different with the current situation. With a ME war on the brink, world financial collapse on the brink, possible volcanos (if the pumes last more than a week) on the brink of causing an increase of that econo collapse, and other catastrophic duckies are lined up also. If Israel knew just exactly when that shiny new nuclear bomb rolls off Iran's show room floor for display purposes or for show and tell, you'd know time is short. Before the curtains are drawn, and that puppy loaded up on its delivery system, it will be all over with!

  15. Lets see. We have troops in Jordan. Troops in Israel. Two aircraft carriers, one in the straight of hormuz and the other in the arabian sea. We know through what is being reported that Iran has for a fact a nuclear bomb agenda and that every intelligence report confirms that. We know that the U.S. recently tested it's emergency system nationwide. We know about the plan to protect the legislative and executive branch in under ground bunkers in colorado. We also know that their have been massive military drills here in the U.S. We also just witnessed the President signing the bill into law that will allow him to detain U.S. citizens for any reason for an indefinite period of time.

Now let's think about this. Why would all of this be happening at the same time. In my opionion, and it's okay for you to disagree, I believe that we are getting ready for a massive strike against Iran. Once that happens we are going to see Iranian terrorist cells rise up in the U.S. which will involve U.S. citizens of muslim faith loyal to Iran strike maybe 1-5 targets within the U.S.

As a result from this action I believe there will be massive uncertainty within the U.S. population. The President will have to establish military rule in certain segments of our country.

It seems to me that the stage is set. Now all we have to do is wait for the first domino to fall and the rest will follow suit.

I think there will be massive casualties in the middle east including Syria, Jordan, Iran, Lebanon, Turkey and Israel. I believe because of this the world will unite against Israel due to nuclear weapons being used. I also believe the U.S. will have casualties not only from our military being involved in the ME but also in the US when the home grown terrorist strike.

I would love to hear all of your thoughts on this. I've been wrong many times in my life and I certainly don't pretend for one moment to know what God has planned but nevertheless I feel pretty sure of what I believe.

    Thoughts anyone?

  16. Yikers....oopsie!...

Sorry folk, didn't mean to start something here. Even me Wiffie wasn't sure just what I was saying.

Ain't nothing like trying to get thoughts down in written format when rushing...to guarantee it comes across as garbled, inverted, and confusing.

OK, this is no great insight from me at all....nothing.

What it is, is parroting the insights given by Baptist Pastor Lindsey Williams on any number of venues, including the Alex Jones show.

A little background on Pastor Williams. Over 30 years ago he was pastor to the oil pipeline group in Alaska. From this he got to know and befriend the Oil Patch folk I refer to TPTB, the human power/money in the shadows behind the power.

This is one of two groups that sometimes work together to shape world events to their desires. The other is the big banking interest that goes back hundreds of years. That end result, according to Pastor Williams, is a OWG with them in charge.

Just as a side note, the extreme population reduction does not seem to be one of the Oil Patch's objectives, that seems to be the purview of the Bankers/Industrialist. Certainly, mass starvations, wars, killings and misery the like are not outside any of this group's tools in reaching their objectives...but for the Oil, Patch folk these aren't the objective in and of themselves.

Pastor Williams, for whatever reason, got to be good friends with a few of these guys. Through the years, they have shared certain things with him which he has, in part, passed on.

At first, very few of us paid any attention to him. About 6 years ago, he came out with some pretty outlandish predictions based on this information. This included which nations were going to be forced to constrain their oil flow, which "new" oil finds were going to be allowed to be announced and which weren't, how far the price of oil/gas was going to be driven up, and then forced to fall......against every bit of economic and geopolitical rational.

It all came through. Each and every bit of it down to the smallest detail.

Since then I have followed his radio/TV/publishing predictions...based on information he says he was given.

What is the immediate future in their plans is the culmination of a 50+ year plan and schedule.

    Ok, that's the background.

Obama and the vast majority of our government is in the pocket of these YoHoos.

  17. Cond:

Right now, if the economy went bust they would own much of the world's assets. The last 5 years have been spent doing a government sponsored asset grab...transferring the assets of many countries and local banks and individuals to themselves. They are not satisfied with this, they plan to keep pumping money in to keep financing world, country, and now state, municipality, and even individual debt. Once its at sufficiently high levels, they will just stop the financing and everything will implode with them holding the ownership once default occurs.

For the current Administration, there is a 5 step plan for the US. Steps 1-4 have happened. The final step is devaluation of the dollar by about 40%.

They want to keep the current Administration in charge of the purse strings to keep things on schedule. To do that they need to create something to cause the US to reelect the puppet...Obama. Obama needs a prop.

In the history of the US and psychology of the US we do not throw out the leader during a time of national emergency. If he makes good decisions and shows decisiveness during this time frame we rally around, not throw him out. For this reason, the Iran conflict needs to happen during this time frame so they can keep their puppet in power in order to complete the "take down" and dollar devaluation phase with the maximum asset transfer to themselves.

Sorry for this being so long....but its just the simplest sketch and barely scratches the surface. Its evil....nasty....ugly...but it seems to fit what I know of prophecy.

One final note on true evil...these folk know the bible and prophecy and have entire staffs and departments working on this. They know that if they get their timing or events in conflict with God's Word, they will fail. That's the reason for the timing being what it is.....to form the OWG being themselves in step with the timing of prophecy.

Now, that is a new definition of evil....at least for me.

  18. Dave, Stephen, Jec, James and everybody.....

    Whew.

    First, Dave.

Good old Tom Clancy is a fiction novel writer that can weave a great tale of intrigue....sorry if I caused any confusion there.

The reference to the 6000 and 7000 years...that's a little harder. Throughout the Bible, the number 7 and multiples of it are used many times as numbers of completion. Also, God's time clock isn't the same as ours in any number of different contexts.

Somehow, in the back of me little mind I suspect that the time from Adam to the end of Millennial Kingdom is going to be 7000 years in our years.

Highlight...bold, underline, put in Caps the operative word...SUSPECT. That is a private suspicion.....I have absolutely no scriptural support that this is correct.

We know there exist some confusion and contention over the exact number of years from Adam to the birth of Christ. We know precisely how long 7000 years are, we know precisely how long the 1000 years are, but what we don't know is precisely when the first 6000 years will be completed so the final 1000 can start.

Now, to the one other subject I suspect I'll get comments on....do I trust Lindsey Williams comments and time table over that given in the bible....

    NOPE!

If the plans and time table of TPTB conflict with those of God....God's will prevail.

I do not think that any conflict with Iran will occur precisely as planned by TPTB...they made no mention of Israel and its surrounding neighbors...Iran's proxies and newly added allies...Egypt. We know Isiah 17 will happen precisely and exactly as told in the Bible and that was not part of Pastor William's prediction as relayed from the Oil Patch powers.

OK....now Caver runs to the corner to don his flame proof suit and climb into his fire proof box before the "heat" comes his way.

  19. Off topic but for those, like me, who have had a heavy heart:

    2 Corinthians 4 (NIV)

    Treasures in Jars of Clay

1 Therefore, since through God's mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. 2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 11 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body. 12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you. 13 It is written: "I believed; therefore I have spoken." With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak, 14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in his presence. 15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. 16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

  20. Dr Nofog, I read that creationism article by Dr. David Reagan and I agree completely with him. I'm more surprised and troubled to see the other article by Mr. Strandberg who seems more dogmatic on his views then what he claims against his opposite viewers. Its clear, at least to me, that God was placed in a itsy bitsy teeny tiny box here.

James N Nashville, I agree with you there. Did anyone ever find out if our troops really are on the Jordanian border or was it just a rumor? As for the terrorist groups unleashing destruction inside of American, I wonder how they got WMD inside of our borders?

Caver, I thought Lindsey Williams has been saying this for 2-3 years now. There is another British guy that had been good also with information, but I forgot his name. That 40% devaluation is very significant and don't disagree with you there so long as its on the other side of the Rapture.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Jec, I think there is a little confusion there.

Lindsey had said he was told there would not be conflict with Iran...but there was always the cravat that there was another part of the story, another shoe to drop so to speak.

This one says that true, there would not be conflict with Iran UNTIL...

It was also added that this was their plan for now...but plans change and sometimes a country jumps the gun. These folk think they have it figured out just how far they can push Israel, Syria, Iran and others and in just what ways to cause the events as they choose. They are not always right and sometimes the Lord seems to have different plans and time schedules.

Prophecy is a responsibility, its also interesting once you really get into it...especially if the Holy Spirit give a little discernment input.

Its also interesting watching the Lord take an unstoppable series of events and stop it on a time, turn it 90 degrees and send it off on the most unexpected of all tangents for a while.

Ain't ya glad all ya gotta do is watch and report, not predict, to stay faithful.

  22. Interesting post Caver about TPTB and pastor Lindsay Williams. I had not read much aout that before. It will be interesting to see how their plan to devalue the US Dollar by 40% plays out. It may get devalued by a lot more should God decide it is time for Jesus to come for His bride.

That will be the great game changer and tipping point and I think we are so very close. In the mean time lets be anxious for nothing but in everthing through prayer make our requests made known to God. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

    Maranatha!

  23. Got to chuckle at the devaluation amount after the rapture. Amen!

I suspect the dollar is just one of many, many things that's going to be devalued following that event. But, the dollar won't be devalued nearly as far as a few egos, self righteous opinions, and faulty teachings we know of.
