U.S. intelligence on alert for possible Israeli strike on Iran
The Pentagon is watching for the possibility that Israel could use the occasion of an alleged Iranian plot to kill the Saudi Arabian ambassador to the United States as a pretext for launching a long-anticipated attack on Iran's nuclear sites, according to a report from Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin.
The source, who is in a position to monitor Israeli defense activities, said the U.S. is watching "an indicator and warning matrix" in which the U.S. can "go so far as to plot the illumination tables to pick out what nights would be best" for such an attack.
The intelligence source said that there is "a green light" for the Israelis "to do a strike."
The source said that the concern among some U.S. analysts is that an attack could be "imminent."
The U.S. intelligence source said while some analysts believe an Israeli attack may be imminent, close I&W monitoring of Israeli defense posture indicated that only their civil defense had been "spun up" at the moment.
"One curious thing is that we're taking a lot of imagery of the (Israeli) defense sites – more than usual," he added. "You might see one report every few weeks on something (but) there were five just today."
Even President Obama has stated that "nothing is off the table" when it comes to responding to Iran.
Who knows. While this is entirely possible and consistent with much of what we have been watching recently, it is still hard to believe.
Thus far, it is difficult to find this story corroborated elsewhere but the coming days could prove interesting in that respect.
Meanwhile, as with so many of the signs that we observe - we'll be watching this closely for any further developments.
Well, we know they really don't have any choice....and it is Obummer's cowards way out...and deniable.
ReplyDeleteIf/when it goes...ya just know the entire ME will be fur, fuzz, and fireball within 12 hours...and probably over here and Europe to boot, just to make things interesting and fair.
For the life of me...I just can't shake the feeling that this entire Iran thing was a set up to produce this precise result.
Libya set the tone to give Syria the message and ensure the none of the desired dance partners are left out once the music starts.
The timing is great....wonderful chance to solve that pesky world economic situation with some wonderful emergency government power grabs and maybe even a suspended election or two...well, for the few countries that still pretend to have them.
Sorry if I sound a bit jaded. Guess, at this point, I probably am guilty as charged.
That well could be Caver....More and more signs seem to be pointing in that direction...These sure are some interesting times

But on a more serious note:
Some friends of ours sent us this link:
Holy Spirit breaks out at a football game!
Contrary to Nietzsche, our God is alive and well!
Ok, trying to wrap my head around this. First, why does Israel see it as their duty to defend the Saudi Ambassador from an assassination plot in the US? Secondly, we know Iran is going to be exceptionally strong and cocky going into the Ezekiel 38 - 39 war. A first strike by Israel not only would remove much of that swagger, but if it's imminent, as this story suggests, then what of the Psalm 87 and Isaiah 17 battles, thought to occur before Ezekiel 38? Or the Rapture, thought to be sometime before Ezekiel 38?
ReplyDeleteI'm of the opinion that a little time will elapse between the two battles and the Gog/Magog War . . .as that war ends with a peace treaty with the AC. The Temple would need to be under construction well before that to be completed before the midpoint of the Tribulation when the Abomination of Desolation occurs.
Am I missing something?
The "planned attack" is as real as the Gulf of Tonkin. We are being played by the powers that be. Individuals do not start wars, governments do to promote their interests. The sad thing is that individuals die as a result.
ReplyDeleteGod is in control. Prophecy will be fullfilled, but in God's time not ours.
The twelvers believe they can speed the Caliphate by causing war. We can't let man-made conflicts get our hopes up for the rapture when it just might be another 20 - 30 million deaths and not the Tribulation yet.
We can't rush God, even though we may want to.
DrWho, respectfully, I think, in the end, these events will appear to be man made, but as you rightly stated, God IS in control. The Bible tells us, even with all the events occurring just as prophesied, man will not believe. They will have explanations for everything. One need look no further than when God gathered His people, after 2000 years of being scattered, back into Israel. Who except evangelical Christians saw this as a fulfillment of Prophecy?

ReplyDeleteI have read in many places that the Temple could be rebuilt in 18 months....I believe the rebuilding of the Temple will be part of the Dan 9:27 covenant.
Looks like the is affecting Iran's compooters.
ReplyDeleteThe Duqu worm is another Stuxnet style headache and a parting gift to Iran.

Also, American forces amass on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. Sumptin's up wid dis.
ReplyDeleteNo kidding, Scott? So it doesn't necessarily need to be rebuilt to the same scale God prescribed for the original one or it's replacement?
ReplyDeleteIt could be rebuilt very similar to the last temple, even at its peak...In fact (and I have had a VERY hard time finding this again) - I have seen where in a quarry many, if not all of the stones have been cut and numbered - just waiting for the moment
ReplyDeleteAlso don;t forget, the Sanhedrin and the Sons of Aaron are already regathered as well - two necessary items for Temple worship and they have already been preparing for the various rituals.
That's fascinating, Scott . . .thanks for the info. It's been something I've had some concern about of late. If you do happen across a link, I'd love to have a look.
ReplyDeleteI'll do some digging - but back when I was doing presentations on the Temple Mount (haven't done it in a few years) I had all of that.
ReplyDelete18 months is usually the time-frame given for the rebuilding (and with modern technology that isn;t surprising, really). In relative terms (say, to an office building) the Temple isn't very big. I'd bet they could do it in less than that too.
Robin- I agree with you. Israel being restored as a nation in the midst of her enemies is phophetic. I believe the days are short and we all see things escalating toward the Tribulation. Things will get worse before they get even worse. We still have time to spread the Gospel.
ReplyDeleteProphetic. I miss my spell check.
ReplyDeleteDrWho said... "...Prophetic. I miss my spell check..."
