In the news:

Stuxnet Clone Found Possibly Preparing Power Plant Attacks

Security researchers have detected a new Trojan, scarily similar to the infamous Stuxnet worm, which could disrupt computers controlling power plants, oil refineries and other critical infrastructure networks.

The Trojan, dubbed "Duqu" by the security firm Symantec, appears, based on its code, to have been written by the same authors as the Stuxnet worm, which last July was used to cripple an Iranian nuclear-fuel processing plant.

Instead of directly targeting the SCADA system, Duqu gathers "intelligence data and assets from entities, such as industrial control system manufacturers, in order to more easily conduct a future attack against another third party. The attackers are looking for information such as design documents that could help them mount a future attack on an industrial control facility.

"This new entry into the Stuxnet family comes just after the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a bulletin warning that the notorious hacking group Anonymous may soon start looking to bring down or disrupt industrial control facilities. Posted yesterday (Oct. 18) to publicintelligence.net, the unclassified bulletin assesses Anonymous' ability to compromise SCADA systems that run power plants, chemical plants, oil refineries and other industrial facilities.

Eurozone crisis could cause collapse of global banking system

"If things get out of hand in the euro area, no bank in the financial integrated world will stand," he told a parliamentary committee.

"...we are setting ourselves up for a financial crisis following the sovereign crisis," he said, giving evidence at a session of the House of Lords EU Economic and Financial Affairs Sub-Committee on the eurozone crisis.

Mr Buiter said he was not hopeful that "a grand plan, a grand design, [or] even a big bazooka for that matter" would emerge from the European leaders summit in Brussels on Sunday, or at the G20 summit in Cannes on November 3 and 4.

The next story is interesting because it reveals that Ahmadinejad's time is growing short - his time to complete his "mission" on earth, which is to set the stage for the return of the Mahdi. Will this hasten his agenda to destroy Israel?

Ayatollah Khamenei Warns Ahmadinejad: We May Eliminate Presidential Position

In the ongoing political skirmishes among Iran’s leadership, it was the equivalent of bringing out the heavy ammunition: The country’s most powerful figure warning that the post of elected president could someday be scrapped.

For months, the ruling theocracy has been piling pressure on Ahmadinejad and arresting his allies for attempts to challenge the near-absolute authority of the cleric-ruled system that has controlled Iran since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. The blunt words by Khamenei on Sunday suggest a twofold agenda: Further tightening the lid on Ahmadinejad and showing others in the wings that Iran‘s rulers are ready to take drastic measures to protect what’s theirs.

Under Iran’s Islamic republic system, the president and parliament are elected. But the system is overseen by the unelected clerical hierarchy, which controls council that vet legislation and candidates for office, is in charge of the powerful judiciary and is tightly linked to the Revolutionary Guard.

More Downgrades, Mass Strike As EU Counts Days To Summit

The rating agencies' pressure on EU leaders to come out with a big bang solution at their meeting on Sunday follows an ultimatum from the G20 club of rich countries that Europe must take decisive action in order to fend off a global recession.

Pressure is also building from the ground up for solutions which do not involve slashing public sector wages, higher taxes and fewer services.

If the Sunday meeting manages to calm markets, it carries a different risk of deepening divisions between euro-using and non-euro EU countries.

Progressive Media Encourage Lawlessness and Anarchy

The message of the protests in New York City and Washington, D.C. is that if you want property, private or public, take it. The anti-Wall Street demonstrators have taken over a private park in New York City and public property, Freedom Plaza and McPherson Square, in D.C. The reaction of the White House is that all of this is fine. After all, if you can take from the rich, why not take from the public.

What’s more, the police, local and federal, are being told to ignore this lawlessness.

The Washington Post reports that when the permit expired, the Park Police simply “issued an extension and amended the existing permit for the protesters at Freedom Plaza.” In the McPherson Square area, the protesters never even obtained a permit to have a demonstration but were nevertheless “granted concessions” and the authorities “will not interfere as long as the campers are not a nuisance.” The paper describes the Washington, D.C. city council, which has encouraged this illegal activity, as “progressive.

However, when protesters tried to disrupt the Hart Senate Office building, six of them were arrested by the U.S. Capitol Police and charged with unlawful conduct. It appears that the politicians will draw the line at disrupting their own space. One wonders if Obama would permit the demonstrators to “occupy” the White House.

The Economic Collapse: The New Reality For U.S. Cities

If you want to know what the early stages of an economic collapse look like, just walk around some of the downtown areas of our major cities. Today, nearly all large U.S. cities are either flat broke or they are on the way to being flat broke.

Right now, there are a number of major cities that are so broke that they cannot keep the street lights operating. Down in St. Louis, parents in some areas are carrying golf clubs with them as they walk their kids to school in order to fend off roving packs of wild dogs.

In other major U.S. cities, open-air drug markets conduct business without fear. All over the United States, cities that used to be clean and prosperous and full of hope are now being transformed into post-industrial wastelands.

We are certainly not in “Mad Max” territory yet, but it doesn’t take too much imagination to see where all of this is headed.

Obama and the OWS Protesters

While it is not surprising that Barack Obama has come out in support of the Occupy Wall Street movement, it is quite disturbing that the president has remained silent as the anti-Semitic protesters' offensive howls grow louder and more consistent.

Unfortunately, Obama completely failed to condemn the ever-growing anti-Semitic statements of frustration

But after all, this is the man who sat for 20 years in the pews of Israel-bashing Jeremiah "God damn America" Wright and who spoke glowingly of his dear friend Rashid "Israel is basically an apartheid system" Khalidi.

Earlier this month, Obama joined the distinguished left-wing loony club of OWS supporters Nancy Pelosi, Elliot Spitzer, Steve Israel, and other Democrats by chiming in with his view that the angry messages, lawlessness, public defecation, and civil disobedience "express the frustrations of the American people."

Well I have a different message for Mr. Obama, and that is that the garbage being spewed by the protesters down in Zuccotti Park and elsewhere across the globe do not express my frustrations, nor do they represent the views of "99%" of Americans in general.

And if the leader of the free world does not differentiate between people expressing genuine concerns about the economy from those who have resorted to age-old anti-Semitic stereotypes scapegoating Jews, we may not be far away from watching history repeat itself.

If the president does not condemn the anti-Semitism expressed by those who he claims are representative of a vast majority of this country, he will be remembered in the history books as supporting the same venom disseminated by Hitler, Mussolini, and Ahmadinejad.

White House Hole: Tell Us What You Think It Is

Ending on a positive note:

The Army of Silent Prayer Soldiers

There is one army that Obama and other One World Revolutionaries cannot possibly defeat. Call it the Army of Silent Prayer Soldiers.

Even among the clamour of organized revolution in global public parks, anyone can be a silent soldier with a silent prayer in their heart. Like Satan has never been able to do, Marxists revolutionaries can not effectively fight and conquer prayer.

Marxists and their blind followers rail against “organized religion”, loathe Christians and fear those turning to the Almighty from any faith.

More powerful than any proverbial silver bullet, the silent prayers of silent soldiers not only fend off but frustrate the Marxists among us. Marxists can suspect silent prayer but can never ever prove it.

There will be times when Silent Prayer Soldiers may want to come forward. And in our books, November 11th’s Veteran Defenders and the USA Patriot Union March on DC will be the most crucial time to step forward for the return of the Constitution.

But for the most part, silent prayer is the most effective way to fight off the Revolution; the escape hatch from the loud revolutionary chants of the day.

The best weapon of Marxists in office is manufactured confusion and chaos followed by violence for ultimate control. The best weapon of the believer has always been prayer.

The evil and darkness they try to spread is based on a plan to frighten and demoralize the masses to get them in line.

But there are constants never heard in the mindless chants of the revolutionaries: God lives in the hearts of the masses who are not afraid.

Down through the centuries God has been in control, and it is the main reason why good always trumps evil.

  1. Communication is the best way to maintain a healthy relationship... with anyone. That's why prayer is SOOO important, because that is how we communicate with our Father. People often misunderstand the point of prayer. They think that you only pray when you have a request or when you want to thank God for something. While that is true to an extent, the main purpose is to have fellowship with Him. We can talk to him about our day, tell Him all the boring details about your day, whatever comes to your mind. Think about your relationship with your children. My daughter is 3, and I love listening to her recant the events of her day with such excitement in her voice. How she played with her friends and went to the park. It makes me happy. Now take that same view and apply it to our perfect Father. He loves us more than I could ever love my children, and He longs to hear from us. He sent His Son to the cross so we could go directly to Him in prayer. So as we are in this dark time in the history of the world, we need that constant communication with the Lord. Don't forget, He told us to cast ALL our cares on Him... for He cares for us.

Thank You, Jesus for Your unfailing love for us.

  2. Seth, nice analogy.

Since I see you are a young father I would encourage you and your wife to go see the recent movie produced by the church in Georgia called "Courageous". It is very well done, entertaining and has wonderful lessons throughout, especially on fatherhood.

  3. Seth, thank you for sharing that insightful analogy and prayers continue for your complete recovery.

  4. Hillary Clinton made a surprise visitto Libya to pledge more US aid and to congratulate them for toppling Gadhafi's regime.

Let's donate more dollars to Israel's enemy. Sigh...

  5. Scott, your favorite H&R specialist has slipped 2 more past you; here and here.

It should be abundantly clear now, that he has never had any intention of ever letting up, and except for an occasional link to "in the same vein" news, he brings, contributes, or even joins in, with anything remotely uplifting to the fellowship.

In my comms with EI, she is not willing to come back for the stress of that negative POV, and I see no end it either.

I know this ministry is a willing sacrifice of your time and if the situation is that you don't have a built-in mechanism for flagging him, I wouldn't mind keeping an eye on it for you, and if you prefer I notify you privately rather than posting, click my link.

I think you will find it strong encouragement for these days.

  8. Kem - thanks for that

DrNo - I'll try to get in touch. It would seem easy to just ignore S....I odn't get the angst that he causes, I really don't (not from you necessarily, but in a general sense).

I have gotten to where I just laugh when I see his posts.

But I guess I can understand it to some degree - but at this point it strikes me as almost comical.

  9. Seth - You are SO right about what you are saying and thanks so much for sharing that. I really love reading your various thoughts as they are so uplifting...Anyway, thats an excellent point about prayer and the function of staying in constant contact - thats SO true.

    Hope you are doing well.

  10. Geared - good point...Should DrNo become "DrWhoKnows"?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Well, DrKnowWho may be who knows Who or DrWhoKnows or NoWhosDr.One ISP with many names. He'll go back and have a conversation with himself(s) and decide which one of us to go after....understand he can be very convincing in front the mirror. I put me very bestest SpellCheck to use here so you be the mark.

Shucks, the news these days is more fun than a root canal cepting for its getting us closer than close to the big "poof" and seeing our Savior. Just tears me heart apart to see all the lost that were either indoctrinated so well or just refuse to face the truth.

Actually, its surreal....what's so obvious to us is so "hidden". to them. I have so many conversations about this, it has to be supernatural. They know "something" is wrong...very wrong...but just can't see it. Given a choice of the Bible with over 1000 chances and 100% accuracy...they would rather turn to their astrology chart to see what to do.

Its times like no other times and sure glad I don't have to depend on common sense and my wits to figure out what / how to do these days.

  12. Well put Caver...One point in particular:

"what's so obvious to us is so "hidden". to them. I have so many conversations about this, it has to be supernatural. They know "something" is wrong...very wrong...but just can't see it."

    Absolutely.

  13. The Bible tells us that they chose to believe a lie. It gets them off the hook or so they think.

Check out the Truth Project/James Dobson Ministries with Dr. Dale Tackett sometime. You will learn that in almost every area of life what the world embraces as truth is in direct opposition to God and the Christian world view.

  14. Great points Caver. I've had some conversations like that in the past; and they wonder what kind of drugs i'm on. I believe the only thing that will wake some people up is the Rapture, when they find that their spouse and all of their children and grandchildren will have vanished without a trace. Then maybe they will finally see the truth. Seth , glad to see you're doing better.

  15. In the link Scott provided about the Progressive Media promoting lawlessness, is a YouTube video where an organizer is saying they've been working on this protest at least since April.

But don't miss where he says they sought and received an extension on their permit to squat on that land at least until sometime in February. I continue to believe, this isn't going anywhere when winter sets in, but rather continue spiraling out of control until their plants get tired of waiting and start violence. After a few weeks of out of control riots and violence, the American people will be begging government to take whatever action necessary to make it stop.

  16. Good points everyone. About prayer being a form of fellowship and how some seem so blind.

About Drnofog, haha you remind me of Dwight schrute from "the office". Not sure if anyone here watches the office, but if you do, maybe you can see how Drnofog reminds me of Dwight.

  17. Dylan, lol. You remain dormant and then BAM! you post a zinger. : D

Caver, you raised some good points as did other discussionists. : ) I can't help but think the reason the behaviors and actions seems so "supernatural" is because so many are given over to a reprobate mind because of sexual perversion, among other things. Paul addressed this in Romans 1, particularly verse 28.

Did anyone watch the prez on the short bus tour and the entourage of 31 vehicles that zipped right past the folks in NC?

  18. Scott, I've been meaning to say that I don't always reply to your remarks but I do follow your discussion to my points. I don't mean to come across as ignoring your replies.

  19. Just an add to the Prayer and fellowship discussion.

Ya know, sometimes I need to worship, sometimes just say Thank You, sometimes petition....but daily, absolutely daily I try to talk with my Father and my entire Heavenly Family.

Without that daily fellowship the day is just not "right". I need it and I think, believe, my Father wants and expects it. Indeed my entire Heavenly family....of course, a child needs to consult the Adults as he grows up and is trained and corrected.

Daybreak is my absolutely favorite time for this. Highly recommended. Sometimes you just need to talk with your Family.
