PA Application for "Full UN Membership" Submitted

Considering the vast array of information coming in from the UN, the following key point hasn't been made obvious. That point being when the actual UNSC vote would take place:

Abbas officially submits Paleatinian application for full UN membership

The UN Security Council will take up the Palestinian bid for full statehood and UN membership on Monday. This is an unusually fast development compared to the normal tempo of the United Nations.

Council president Nawaf Salam of Lebanon told reporters on Friday that the 15-member council would begin discussions at 1900 GMT Monday to take up the application submitted earlier Friday by Abbas to the UN Secretary General. Ban passed the document hours later to the council, whose approval is needed for UN membership and full recognition of statehood.

He added that the Palestinian do not expect the Security Council vote to take place next week, saying that this is a process that would take a few weeks, but "not longer."

So there we have it: "A few weeks, but not longer" - presumably when deliberations will take place - followed by a formal vote.

Stay tuned - this situation is far from over.

  1. I can't believe the Palistinians would honestly think they deserve the right to their own land. Terrorist's seeking their own land! what a joke. At the same time I can't believe the patience of Israel in putting up with all missle's and terrorist action that have been fired at it since their birth as a nation. The lie's displayed by the Palistinians about Israel being the problem in the region when in fact the butcher relion of Islam is the problem and the deadly virus of the world which needs to wiped out. And of course it will when our Lord Jesus Christ comes back very soon.

  3. Anons,
Are you 2 different Anons or both posts by the same 1??

It really does help if you pick a "name or alias" so we know which Anon we should be responding to ... and that way it sorta makes it seem a little more 'human' if we put a pretend mug-shot on you...

And you'll still remain anonymous, after all, the "person" that created this blog has been doing it for yrs -["Scott" is an alias too, and the man of mystery still remains at large...], whereas I am actually a real person, not a computer-generated Max Headroom/Matrix image!

Go "here" for a helpful hint on "how to".

This will save you a little time for any of your future posts too.

But not nearly as much as the infamous "DrNo", who I am having "trailed" by my people...gathering information...if you only knew....

EI, with all of her "007 missions" to Postie & RT sites, will have a name tag that looks like a ribbon trailing back down to earth...
    ;-D

But seriously... no, wait, I thot I was...
The Apostles, on the mount of Transfiguration, immediately recognized Moses and Elijah, whom they had never seen before...
