IAF Launches 200+ Airstrikes in Escalated Operations Across Gaza and Lebanon

The Israel Air Force (IAF) has intensified its operations across Gaza and southern Lebanon, conducting over 200 airstrikes in the last 24 hours as part of Israel’s ongoing efforts against Hamas and Hezbollah. On Thursday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) responded to projectiles launched from Lebanon toward HaMifratz in northern Israel by striking the launch site and neutralizing the suspected assailant responsible for the attack.

In recent operations, IDF ground and air forces have targeted terrorist infrastructure, dismantling launch sites and seizing weapons in southern Lebanon. These localized raids are focused on suppressing Hezbollah’s growing presence near Israel’s northern border.

Simultaneously, IDF forces in Gaza conducted extensive operations, particularly in Jabaliya, where air and ground raids eliminated dozens of Hamas operatives. In central Gaza, IDF troops neutralized armed terrorists, and in Rafah, forces targeted an underground tunnel network used for hostile activities.

Throughout Thursday, the IAF executed airstrikes on a range of Hamas and Hezbollah sites, including command centers, missile launch points, and essential infrastructure supporting the groups’ operations. The IDF’s strategic targeting aims to reduce the capability of these organizations to continue attacks on Israeli territory.

Early Friday, the IDF identified approximately ten projectiles crossing from Lebanon into Israel. Some were intercepted, while others landed in open areas, causing no injuries. As Israeli forces continue to operate across multiple fronts, the region remains on high alert, with the IDF prioritizing countermeasures against immediate threats.
