Will Iran dare risk a third attack?


More than a week ago I wrote that after its second retaliatory air strike against Iran, Israel must ensure that there is no third Iranian attack on Israel. Israel originally planned to bomb Iranian nuclear and oil facilities to eliminate the nuclear threat from Iran. But that was called off because of the Americans, firstly because Washington feared that this would drive up oil prices and secondly because it could trigger a multi-front war. 

But nevertheless, Israel had to strike Iran in such a way that a third Iranian reaction would not be feasible, or that Iran would be at risk if it attacked Israel anyway. Nobody knew how, and everything was speculation. It had to be a smart strike. There was no word from the Israeli side on how Israel would respond – everything I heard was based on Arab and American sources.Either way, the key question right now is whether Tehran will decide to respond.
