The Ukrainian defense is non-existent - The Russians are advancing
The Russian advance on Kharkiv continues unabated with the forces of the "North" troop group crushing the Ukrainians in the first line of defense and heading towards the second line of defense.
Information indicates that there is already a breach of the second Ukrainian defense arrangement with Russian forces heading to the strategically important settlement of Lyptsi.
Some Ukrainian reinforcements are now rushing to the second line of defense, 15 km south of the burning Volchansk.
Foreign observers now doubt whether Kiev has forces in the region. Lypsi is expected to come under Russian control soon.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the "North" troop group occupied the settlements of Gatishhi, Krasni, Morochovich and Olenikovo, in Kharkiv.
In the Degtyarnoye, Volchansk and Kazachya Lopan regions of Kharkiv, the Russian Armed Forces defeated Units of the 14th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the 110th and 113th brigades of the Territorial Defense Units.
The losses of the Ukrainian Army amounted to 100 soldiers, 2 tanks, Kozak armored fighting vehicles and 4 other vehicles were destroyed.
A Caesar self-propelled gun, 2 D-20s, a D-30, 2 Vampire MLRS and a Grad MLRS were knocked out.
According to some sources, 125 Ukrainian soldiers surrendered en masse, refusing to fire on the advancing Russian army.
