Worldview with Amir Tsarfati: Economic Deception & Something Big Stirring

Worldview with Amir Tsarfati: Economic Deception & Something Big Stirring

Shalom from Israel! I am here today with our Behold Israel tour group experiencing the picturesque old city of Jerusalem. There is so much beauty and history within its ancient walls. But more than that, there is the strong presence of the Holy Spirit as He draws closer to the Father those seeking to experience firsthand the setting of so much of the Scriptures. I love to witness the faces of God’s people light up as they see passages they’ve grown up reading suddenly come to life before their eyes. That is what kept me so passionate about my work as I led Holy Land tours for so many years.

Israel Opens Embassy 15 Miles from Iran’s Border

Last night, Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen flew to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, where he will open an embassy in the central Asian state. This capital city is located just 15 miles from Iran’s northeast border making the embassy Israel’s closest official presence to the terrorist Islamic regime. Prior to departing to Ashgabat, Cohen spent time in Baku, Azerbaijan, deepening relations with the Shiite-majority country. While Azerbaijan supplies Israel with 30 percent of its oil imports and, allegedly, access across its borders for intelligence operations, Jerusalem in return provides military weapons to Baku. Iran is busy building relationships with proxy militias in various countries. Israel, on the other hand, is spending its time strengthening ties with actual countries. For more information on this momentous occurrence in Turkmenistan as well as other very important happenings, please watch my Breaking News Update from yesterday.

The IDF’s Calm Before the Storm

Today, Ramadan will end. Then, next week Yom HaZikaron (Memorial Day) will begin Monday, followed by Yom Ha’atzmaut (Independence Day) beginning Tuesday. Once those days of remembrance and celebration are complete, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) will be free to carry out whatever is necessary to protect our nation. The activity at Ramat David Airbase near my house is unprecedented. Something big is getting ready to happen.

Cyberattack and Terror Attack Hit Israel

Anonymous Sudan, a hacker group, celebrated Quds Day on Friday by launching a cyberattack against Israel. The websites of some banks, the post office, the electricity company, and the red alert warning app were all affected to various extents. Then, on Tuesday, two ultra-Orthodox men were driving home from morning prayers when a man ran up to their car and began shooting. Both victims were wounded, while the perpetrator escaped on foot.

Iran Admits Responsibility in Rocket Attacks

How did you spend Iranian Army Day on Tuesday? Commander of the Islamic Republican Guard Corps Hossein Salami celebrated by making a speech in which he admitted Iran’s responsibility in guiding their proxy militias in Syria, Gaza, and Lebanon to fire rockets at Israel earlier this month. The major general said that the attack was revenge for the deaths of two Iranian advisers killed in IDF airstrikes in Syria. He also took joy in warning that some shadowy persons have managed to arm Palestinian militants in the West Bank.

Turkey Grows Its Presence in Old City Jerusalem

The government of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is intentionally trying to build up the Turkish presence in the old city of Jerusalem. Visitors are being sponsored to come, set up shop, and stay. Whether it is through charity work or employment in the hostel restaurant and the Islamic Center that the Ankara administration has purchased, the goal is to expand Turkish influence. Erdogan still dreams of being the guardian of Sunni Islam in a reconstituted Ottoman Empire. This fits well with the Ezekiel 38 prophecy that sees Russia partnering with Turkey, Iran, Sudan, and soon, Libya.

Russian Ghost Ships Loiter in Nordic Waters

“Russian Ghost Ships” sounds like the title of a Franz Kafka play or a novel by Nikolai Gogol. Instead, these mystery boats are very real and are sailing around the waters near Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Sweden. What gives them their ghoulish descriptor is that they have turned off their Automatic Identification System (AIS). Thus, while everyone knows they are out there somewhere, no one is quite sure where that somewhere is. It is believed that Moscow is using these boats to map the locations of internet and power cables, oil pipelines, and wind farms in the Nordic waters. The head of Denmark’s counter-espionage department and the head of Norway’s intelligence agency both say that they are ready to intervene if Russia tries anything against their countries’ infrastructure.
