Israel's Security Cabinet To Meet Wednesday In Response To Gaza Violence

Israel’s Security Cabinet is slated to meet Wednesday in response to the increasing escalation of violence along the Gaza border.
On Monday night, some 5,000 of Hamas-led Gazans streamed back to the border with Israel to once again resume their attempts to tear apart the security fence that maintains the boundary, in their fervor to carry out attacks on IDF soldiers and Jews living nearby.

The rioters carried burning tires, Molotov cocktails, hand grenades, rocks and live fireworks, all of which they threw at Israeli soldiers who were stationed on the other side of the border, to secure the region from terrorist infiltration.
Arab media reported that at least 60 Gazans were injured in clashes with IDF soldiers who used standard riot control methods to control the violence along the border with northern Gaza.
Likewise, Hamas launched boats in an effort to break through Israel’s maritime blockade, but they were stopped by the IDF.
