Anti-Semitism Dramatically Increasing, Jerusalem Embassy Will Bring War Warns Grand Mufti

Anti-Semitism dramatically increases across US, says ADL

The US witnessed an unprecedented spike in anti-Semitism in 2017, according to the Anti-Defamation League, with vandalism and school incidents leading the list. Some of the incidents, however, were fake.
There were almost 2000 anti-Semitic incidents reported across the US in 2017, including physical assaults, bomb threats, vandalism, and attacks on Jewish institutions, according to a report released by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) on Tuesday.
The number of anti-Semitic incidents in 2017 increased by 57 percent compared to 2016, the single largest increase on record and the second-highest number reported since ADL started keeping track in 1979, the organization said. Incidents of vandalism increased 86 percent from 2016, with 952 incidents recorded.
These incidents came at a time when we saw a rising climate of incivility, the emboldening of hate groups and widening divisions in society,” said ADL’s CEO and National Director Jonathan A. Greenblatt.

The report reveals that the number of anti-Semitic incidents soared in schools and on college campuses, nearly doubling for the second year in a row. College campuses witnessed a total of 204 incidents in 2017, compared to 108 incidents in 2016.

The vast majority of the incidents fell under the category of “harassment,” which the ADL defines as “where a Jewish person or group of people feel harassed by the perceived anti-Semitic words, spoken or written, or actions of someone else.”

This category includes the 163 bomb threats against Jewish community centers. However, the vast majority of those were actually made by a Jewish teenager living in Israel who was eventually arrested. US federal authorities also believe that the teenager was selling his services on the dark web.

A key authoritarian for Palestinians is warning that there will be war if the United States actually follows through on its announced plans to open an embassy in Jerusalem, now recognized as Israel’s capital.

The threat, according to a report by the Palestinian Media Watch, comes from Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, the grand mufti of Jerusalem.
It was in the official Palestinian Authority daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida that there was a report how Hussein, described as “preacher at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque,” “warned against the severity of the American administration’s decision on transferring its embassy to occupied Jerusalem.”
“He explained that the transfer of the American embassy to Jerusalem, if it is carried out, will not be an attack on the Palestinians alone, but rather a blatant attack on the Arabs and Muslims throughout the world … .and that it will not serve peace and security in the region, but rather bring upon it disasters of wars, anarchy, and instability,” the report said.
President Donald Trump, last Dec. 6, formally recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, a status it has held in U.S. law for decades. However, earlier presidents always found a reason to exempt that law from applying.
Trump decided last December enough was enough, and let the congressionally approved law take effect.
Then just days ago, the State Department revealed the new U.S. embassy in Jerusalem will open May 14, 2018, the anniversary of Israel’s declaration of independence in 1948.
It’s called something else by Palestinians, “Nakba Day,” or Arabic for “the catastrophe.”
At the declaration in 1948, the combined forces of Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Iraq joined in an attempt to eradicate the state of Israel.
They failed.

  1. Hi Scott - I have followed your blog since 2009. God uses all things to our good and His glory - I started following your blog when O was elected (selected?) president. The only way I could wrap my head, so to speak, around what was happening at the time was to reason that God was getting ready to judge the earth and send Jesus for the church. Your blog has been a chronicle of all things leading up to the point in time we find ourselves currently in.

Just wondering if you saw any prophetic significance in the passing of Dr. Billy Graham? His preaching ministry lasted for almost 70 very public years (and even before then). His Los Angeles tent revivals started in 1949 - around the same time as Israel came back as a nation. I've read and thought of Dr. Graham as sort of a Methuselah, or a "time stamp" on the end of the church age. Methuselah died in the year the flood came. His name apparently meant, "When he dies, it will come". I don't think there is any such meaning to the name of Billy Graham, but the fact that God had kept him alive on earth for so long seems to have meant something.

Anyway, was just curious what your thoughts were. Also, see prophetic significance in the number of your blog postings over the years! At the current rate of blog updates, you may surpass 2000 by the end of 2018!

Thank you for your faithful service to the watching body of Christ!

    Susan

  2. Hi, and thanks so much :)
There is a story that was being circulated again (caver?) - about someone who had a vision or a dream (I forget, may be neither) - but some kind of prophecy that the rapture would occur soon after his death....Im sure we can get the details on that sometime today...I always take that kind of thing with a grain of salt, but still keep it "filed" away for future consideration. Interesting point on His ministry here at the very end of the generation - we were considering just how many lives he had saved over the years - that number must be stunning. Either way, I believe we are ever so close; mainly due to the nearness of the middle east conflicts.
Thanks again, and see ya soon :)

  3. Benny Hinn is one of perhaps others, that made such a false "prediction" years ago. These fallen, false teachers are always so eager to promote these un-Scriptural, counterfeit so called "predictions" that are coming straight from the liars of liars, satan.
Gods Word is what we rely on to know the Season we are in. Absolutely Brother Scott, Israel is the key.

  4. Susan I agree with you. Billy Graham was certainly raised up for this day. He has always been an honorable man of God and led many people to the Lord.

  5. Yikes....Ok, yea there was something I passed along to Scott a few days ago.

Not sure if it was a Jewish Rabbi or a former Rabbi that converted to Christianity. While a Jewish Rabbi, he had special training but I don't remember what.

I didn't pay much attention to the specifics that gave him his ability to make the prediction but he proclaimed that Dr. Graham was special and related to the Rapture like Methuselah to the flood. When he died, the Flood, or Rapture, would be be close behind.

I'm not saying I believe or advocate this prediction, merely passing it along as a prediction I saw in a creditable internet source.
