Netanyahu Addresses EU Foreign Ministers - Declares The TRUTH About Israel's History, The 'Palestinian Myth'

NETANYAHU ADDRESSES EU FOREIGN MINISTERS

As part of his political tour of Europe, on Monday (December 11, 2017), Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, addressed the European Union’s foreign ministers in Brussels, Belgium.

Netanyahu also serves as Israel’s Foreign Minister.  At the center of Netanyahu’s address was a call to the foreign ministers to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Last week’s historic announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump, in which he recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, bolstered Netanyahu to call on the Europeans to do the same.

In addition to Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, he also set in motion the physical move of the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The visit to the EU headquarters was the first for an Israeli prime minister in 22 years.

Netanyahu articulated Jerusalem’s importance to the Jewish people and to Israelis. He said “I believe that all, or most, of the European countries will move their embassies to Jerusalem, recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and engage robustly with us for security, prosperity and peace.”

Following his meeting with the EU foreign ministers, Netanyahu issued a statement saying that “Recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital doesn’t obviate peace, it makes peace possible, because recognizing reality is the substance of peace, it’s the foundation of peace.”

Netanyahu, in addressing the EU foreign ministers, reminded them that Israel is in the frontline of the war against Islamist terrorism.

Israeli intelligence has prevented dozens of terrorist attacks, many of them on European soil, and I think countless lives have been saved as a result of this cooperation that is well known to the security services of many European governments.

Still, he pointed out that to the foreign ministers that “Israel has extended its hand in peace to our Palestinian neighbors for 100 years, well before there was a State of Israel and after it was established. And for 50 years, before there was a single settlement or a single issue of territory, we were being attacked constantly.

We were attacked not because of this or that piece of territory, but of the idea of any territory, that there would be a Jewish state, a nation-state for the Jewish people in any boundary was rejected by our neighbors. This is what led to the conflict, and this is what continues the conflict. You see that in the continuous denial, unfortunately, by the Palestinians, of Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state, and the denial of our history.

For 3,000 years, Jerusalem has been the capital of the Jewish people, from the time… established by King David, well documented in the history of the Bible and the aftermath, when Jews in the ghettos of Europe whispered, "Next year in Jerusalem, next year in Jerusalem." We never lost that connection

Yet that connection is denied in UN forums, in UNESCO, in laughable decisions that seek to deny history and seek to deny historical truth. Jerusalem has been the capital of Israel for the last 70 years. I think what President Trump has done is put facts squarely on the table. Peace is based on reality. Peace is based on recognizing reality, and I think the fact that Jerusalem is Israel's capital is clearly evident to all of you who visit Israel, see where the seat of our parliament, our Knesset is, the seat of our government, my office, the President's office, the Supreme Court. Jerusalem is Israel's capital...”

Netanyahu got a taste of the European appeasement mode in his meeting with French President Emanuel Macron on Sunday, prior to the Brussels meeting.  According to the Guardian, Macron told Netanyahu that “Trump’s statement on Jerusalem is a threat to peace and we are against it.”  He moreover suggested, “Israeli freeze on settlement building would be an important gesture, showing Israel was committed to peace.”

Netanyahu kept his cool with Macron, aware of the Europeans hypocrisy.  Upon his leaving Israel on Saturday he declared: “While I respect Europe, I am not prepared to accept a double standard from it. I hear voices from there condemning President Trump’s historic statement, but I have not heard condemnations of the rockets fired at Israel or the terrible incitement against it. I am not prepared to accept hypocrisy.”

French President Macron and his fellow West European EU leaders do not want peace more than the Israelis do.  A prosperous Israel needs and wants peace above all.  It is therefore time to ask the Europeans to put the onus on the Palestinians, and address their rejectionist behavior.

Similarly, the EU should probe Palestinian Authority (PA) incitement, and its educational system.  The PA is teaching its students to reject Israel’s right to exist, and hatred toward Israel and Jews. And, it is aided huge outlays of money by EU to the PA.  If the EU wants to be a peacemaker, it is time to put aside their latent anti-Semitism, and pressure the Palestinians to wake up to the reality of Israel.

President Trump has exposed European hypocrisy in dealing with the status of Jerusalem, and Netanyahu’s visit to Europe albeit necessary economically and politically, simply reaffirms the truth that the EU is at best a “fair weather friend of Israel.”

Bishop Aubrey Shines took to YouTube to dispel what he calls "The Palestinian Myth," demonstrating that the Israelis are the rightful owners of the land of Israel, and that they have acquired it a great cost to themselves.
Giving up their land for promised peace is not a solution, as Bishop shines points out.
A two-state solution is not a solution either.
Shines asks, “You may be wondering where did this two-state solution idea originate from? And why hasn’t it been implemented?"
He then elaborates:

Briefly, in 1936 British leaders formed a commission that felt the best way to protect the Jews that were constantly being harassed by the Arab people, was to divide the land into two states, giving over 80% to the Arabs and the small 20% to the Jews. Jews accepted, the Arabs declined. In 1947 the U.N tried the same scenario, again, the Arab countries declined.
Arab nations began intensifying their efforts by attacking the small Israeli nation, but to no avail. In 1967 the leaders of the Arab nations met and unanimously decided they would never accept Israel under no condition other than their dead bodies rotting in the streets.
So, in 1967, the Jordanians (not the so-called Palestinians), along with its Arab neighbors, invaded Israel once again in the hopes that they would wipe out the remaining Jewish presence. Israel won that war and kicked out the Jordanians from the land they had illegally occupied almost two decades prior known as the West Bank.”
This land has nothing to do with a Palestinian people; it was illegally part of Jordan for 18 years. 80% of the so-called Palestinians are Jordanian Arabs. Hence, there already is a ‘Palestinian state’ it happens to be called Jordan. Even in the year 2000 current president of Mahood Abbas was offered an additional 10% of the land for peace, of course he declined.
In 2005 the Jewish people gave the Gaza area away hoping peace would result in the gesture, instead the land has been used to attack the Jews by sending thousands of rockets into the communities that are only a few miles away, can you imagine sending your kids to school in the mornings or kissing someone you love before he or she goes to the office only to hear air sirens blaring in the streets or your office where you’re working?
The fear that would grip your heart knowing you may never see your children or your love one’s ever again?

"Dividing your God-given land by appeasing those that hate you, as well as, that desire to totally annihilate you hasn’t been nor will ever be the best solution," Shines concludes.  "Thank you, President DJT for having the resiliency and tenacity to do what a dozen other presidents promised to do but lacked the courage to do.”

Indeed, I applaud President Trump's move of the US embassy and recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.  It is their capital after all and on top of that, no matter what is done, Muslims are going to be upset about it.  So, you might as well do the right thing in the situation, and Trump has done just that.

All over the world, Muslim protesters are warning the Jews that they will soon massacre them. This past week it happened in Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, and Sudan, as well as in New York CityLondonSweden, and Berlin.

The chant is “Khaybar, Khaybar, ya yahud, jaish Muhammad saufa ya’ud.” It means “Khaybar, Khaybar, O Jews, the army of Muhammad will return.”

This is not “We shall overcome” in Arabic. It is an open call for a new genocide of the Jews.

As I explain in my book The Truth About Muhammad, after Muhammad exiled the Jewish tribes of Medina, they fled to an oasis in northern Arabia called Khaybar. But even there, the prophet of Islam would not leave them alone. Muhammad led a Muslim force against Khaybar, not because they had attacked him or provoked him in some way, but simply because they had not accepted his claim to be a prophet.

Thus, when modern-day Muslim protesters invoke Khaybar, they are recalling an aggressive, surprise raid by Muhammad that resulted in the final eradication of the once-considerable Jewish presence in Arabia.

To these protesters, Khaybar means the destruction of the Jews and the seizure of their property by the Muslims. This threat, now resounding all over the Western world, should be taken with utmost seriousness.

U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley fired back at the United Nations after it passed a draft resolution that said any decisions regarding Jerusalem should be cancelled.
While the resolution did not directly mention the United States, it was clear that the move targets President Donald Trump, who recently announced that the U.S. will now acknowledge Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and relocate the U.S. Embassy there from Tel Aviv.
“The United States will not be told by any country where we can put our embassy,” Haley tweeted Monday.

“Now today, buried in diplomatic jargon, some presumed to tell America where to put our embassy,” Haley said at the U.N. on Monday. “The United States has a sovereign right to determine where and whether we establish an embassy.”
“I suspect very few member states would welcome security council pronouncements about their sovereign decisions. And I think some should fear it,” she added.
And on Tuesday, Haley tweeted: “At the U.N. we’re always asked to do more and give more. So, when we make a decision, at the will of the American [people], [about] where to located OUR embassy, we don’t expect those we’ve helped to target us. On Thursday there’ll be a vote criticizing our choice. The U.S. will be taking names.”

“Israel is a sovereign nation with the right to determine its own capital; acknowledging this as a fact is a necessary condition for achieving peace,” Trump has said.
For more than two decades, Presidents have exercised a waiver to refuse to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and keep the U.S. Embassy there.
His decision, however, “marks the beginning of a new approach to the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians,” Trump said.
“After more than two decades of waivers, we’re no closer to a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians. It’s folly to assume repeating the same formula would improve the situation,” Trump has pointed out.
