EU Facing Turmoil - Beginning Stages Towards The Formation Of The 10 Kings?

We know that the EU (aka 'revived Roman Empire') will not remain united, and that it will somehow morph into the 10 Kings stage - the stage that will produce the antichrist.

Daniel 2:

41 Just as you saw that the feet and toes were partly of baked clay and partly of iron, so this will be a divided kingdom; yet it will have some of the strength of iron in it, even as you saw iron mixed with clay. 42 As the toes were partly iron and partly clay, so this kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle. 43 And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay.

Daniel 7:

“After that, in my vision at night I looked, and there before me was a fourth beast—terrifying and frightening and very powerful. It had large iron teeth; it crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. It was different from all the former beasts, and it had ten horns.

Revelation 17:

12 “The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. 13 They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”

So with that in mind - we watch as the revived Roman Empire goes through its inevitable final change - and we seem to be seeing this early part of 'The Big Change' which will evolve into the 10 Kings. It won't happen without some big changes, and indeed we seem to be seeing the first aspect as given in Daniel 2 "...the people will be a mixture and will not remain united".

The next step in the evolution of the EU will be the 10 kings. We seem to be drawing close to this final stage:

The EU has entered a phase of disintegration, demonstrated by the increasing numbers of Europeans calling for national referendums on EU membership, Serbian deputy Sandra Raeskovic Ivic and French politician Francious Asselineau told Sputnik.

A significant number of Europeans want their governments to hold a referendum on EU membership, like the UK did in June, according a poll conducted for Sputnikbetween October 22 and 26 2016.

When asked "Do you want your country to hold a referendum on leaving the EU like in Britain?" over half of respondents in Italy (53 percent) responded in the affirmative.

In France, 47 percent said they wanted a referendum, in Germany 43 percent, Spain 39 percent and in Poland 38 percent.

Sanda Raskovic Ivic, a deputy for the Democratic Party of Serbia in the Serbian parliament, told Sputnik Srbija that the proportion of Europeans unhappy with the EU "experiment" is set to rise as the bloc's weaknesses become more apparent.

"The EU is an experiment which was very well conceived but turned out to be ineffective upon implementation. The EU hasn't solved a single one of the serious problems: economic crisis, migration crisis, questions of defense and security."

The EU's government in Brussels has allowed itself to become a vassal of Washington, which protects US interests more than the national interests of EU member states, Raskovic said.

"The best example of that are sanctions against Russia. The economies of EU countries have suffered as a result, but because of some 'principles' they are still in force. I hope that after Trump comes to power things will change, but I don't think that the number of Europeans wanting their country to leave the EU will decrease as a result. Brexit has already shown that it's possible to vote to leave the EU in a referendum, and the country doesn't fall apart."

In 2012, Serbia received the status of EU candidate country, and Belgrade has since opened negotiations with Brussels and other EU members regarding four of the 35 chapters of accession negotiations each country must go through before becoming an EU member. However, the EU is likely to have a different form when Serbia eventually fulfils the bloc's demands, Raskovic said.

She warned that the EU's process of disintegration promises to be a long one, as the union struggles to change its direction. However, the breaking up of the EU is now as inevitable as the EU's continuing expansion once seemed to be, since the process is already in motion.

"We shouldn't expect the departure of certain countries from the EU to proceed rapidly. EU politics, like world politics in general, is like a tanker. When it turns around, it is necessary to do it gradually, otherwise it will just capsize. However, the process of the tanker's reversal has already begun and it's not possible to stop it now, despite the intentions of individual structures in Brussels and Washington to return everything to how it used to be. I believe that's no longer possible," Raskovic said.

The October poll found that the proportion of Europeans who want a referendum on EU membership had increased since July. In Spain the number of respondents who said they want a referendum increased from 34 percent to 39 percent. In Italy the percentage increased from 46 percent to 53 percent, and in Poland from 33 percent to 38 percent.

Francois Asselineau, president of France's Popular Republican Union party (UPR), a Eurosceptic party which campaigns for the country's exit from the EU, told Sputnik France that the momentum of popular opinion is swinging towards increased Euroscepticism.

"I think that this is quite an impressive survey, because a year ago I am sure these polls would have given much smaller numbers (of people in favor of holding a referendum on EU membership)."
Asselineau said that in conjunction with economic problems, the EU's monolithic political structure has made it difficult for Brussels to answer the challenges it faces.

"There is a second reason which seems important to me. Over the years, the EU has become more and more like a dictatorial structure. There was a shock in France when the Lisbon Treaty was adopted in 2008, which largely represents the same text as the EU constitution and which 55 percent of French voters had rejected three years earlier."

"The Brexit vote is the third important event. The decision of the British people to leave the EU in a referendum of course has an effect on other people's thoughts."

No rest for the wicked. With the shockwaves from Brexit and President Trump still reverberating around the world, the established order is bracing for more bad news. Next up is a December 4 Italian constitutional referendum that might end the reign of centrist prime minister Matteo Renzi and replace him with a bunch of anti-euro iconoclasts from the Brexit/Trump part of the spectrum. Here’s an excerpt from a much longer, deep-context Guardian UK article:

As the air of insurgency becomes unmistakable, the technical debate over reforming a 70-year-old constitution is in danger of becoming a sideshow. Perhaps the most disturbing poll for Renzi found last week that only 40% of Italians say they will vote on the reform package; 56% consider their vote to be more a verdict on the prime minister, his government and, by implication, the state of the nation.

If that bigger picture still dominates come polling day, it is hard to see anything but defeat for a man once billed as Italy’s Tony Blair. After 13 years of a flatlining economy, Italians are battered, bruised and looking for somebody to blame. Unemployment is running at 11%, but is close to 40% among the young, who made up the bulk of the 107,000 who left the country last year to seek work abroad. The aftermath of the financial crash is estimated to have wiped out about a quarter of Italian industry. The average family income is less now than it was in 2007.

And not long after Italy takes its shot at the status quo, France will go to the polls for a run-off presidential vote pitting far-right François Fillon against extreme-right Marine Le Pen. Check out the latter’s rhetoric:

“They have acted like carnivores, who used the world to enrich only themselves, and whether it’s the election of Donald Trump, or Brexit, the elites have realized that the people have stopped listening to them, that the people want to determine their futures and in a perfectly democratic framework, regain control of their destiny. And that panics them, because they are losing the power that they had given themselves,” Le Pen went on to say.

Envious of the U.K.’s Brexit referendum, Le Pen wants France to leave the European Union. In campaign stops across her country she has championed for more immigration restrictions and has been vocal against radical Islam – very akin to the way Donald Trump carried his campaign. Much like the president-elect’s foes, Le Pen’s critics have relentlessly labeled her a racist and a fascist.

It’s hard to overstate the threat posed by these two votes to the EU — the world’s largest economic entity — and by implication to the rest of the global financial system. Italy is the third biggest country in the EU, and France is the second. Let either pull out and the result might be dissolution and the end of the euro. Trillions of dollars of euro-denominated bonds would suddenly be converted to lira or francs, forcing the holders of those bonds to take big losses and impairing bank capital across the continent, leading in turn to derivatives blowing up pretty much everywhere, and so on until the whole house of cards is threatened.

  1. Wow...Wow...Wow...This was the primary Headline on JP and it is just STUNNING to me right down to my very Soul...WOW! Little do they know that according to Scripture, this is most likely going to happen to them, only on steroids!
The Isaiah 17 war will leave Israel barely surviving MASSIVE death and destruction (along with the inhalation of her neighbors). The Israeli people will be trying to recover, but will be in a primitive condition, having to collect wood from the forests to burn for their survival for example. Israel will be completely helpless, which is just where God wants them to be.It is then, when Russia moves in for their invasion riding horses to try finish her off. Wow, just wow...
