US caves in to Putin, takes regime change off the table in Syria

More than four years ago, President Obama first declared that Syria's President Bashar Assad was "standing in the way" of progress for the Syrian people and that "the time has come for President Assad to step aside.”

Several times since then, the president and Secretary of State John Kerry have reiterated that demand.  As recently as last month, Obama repeated his determination to see Assad out of office.

“It is not conceivable that Mr. Assad can regain legitimacy in a country in which a large majority of that country despises Assad, and will not stop fighting so long as he’s in power,” Obama said Sunday at a news conference in Kuala Lumpur.

Apparently, it is now "conceivable."

After a long meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin, U.S. secretary of state John Kerry emerged to declare that our ironclad pledge to the Syrian opposition that President Assad must leave office has gone the way of pledges that we can keep our doctor and insurance plan under Obamacare.

"The United States and our partners are not seeking so-called regime change," Kerry told reporters in the Russian capital after meeting President Vladimir Putin. A major international conference on Syria would take place later this week in New York, Kerry announced.

Kerry reiterated the U.S. position that Assad, accused by the West of massive human rights violations and chemical weapons attacks, won't be able to steer Syria out of more than four years of conflict.

But after a day of discussions with Assad's key international backer, Kerry said the focus now is "not on our differences about what can or cannot be done immediately about Assad." Rather, it is on facilitating a peace process in which "Syrians will be making decisions for the future of Syria."

Kerry's declarations crystallized the evolution in U.S. policy on Assad over the last several months, as the Islamic State group's growing influence in the Middle East has taken priority.

The Russians couldn't give a fig about the Syrian people.  They are helping Assad stay in power – legitimate or not – because he is the lynchpin of their Middle East policy.  The naval base at Tartus gives them access to the Med, while their air bases support operations all over the Middle East.  Even a weakened Assad gives their presence some legitimacy.

Assad knows full well he serves at the pleasure of Vladimir Putin.  As long as he does what he's told, he is probably safe.  Meanwhile, the Syrian  "opposition," such as they are, can't even decide the shape of the table they will sit at.  The rebel fighters in Syria do not recognize the civilians who make up the opposition council, which means any peace talks will be disparged by not only Assad, but the opposition fighters as well.

[It seems that more and more people are getting the "big picture' which is somewhat encouraging. Maybe it is because of the alternative media, or perhaps it is becoming so obvious that "the plan" is just harder to conceal]:

The Power Elite (PE) has had a goal of bringing about a world government for centuries. It will be Socialist, and it will be feudal as evidenced by the shrinking size of the middle class from 61% in 1971 to only 50% today (see Pew Research Center, December 9, 2015 report). The PE also has been undermining national sovereignty with the next major step toward that end a world currency by 2018 (see THE ECONOMIST, January 9, 1988; and THE ECONOMIST, October 3, 2015 has a "Special Report" on page 9 projecting major global economic events from now to 2023).

The most importance element to achieving the PE's ultimate goal is the undermining of American biblical values. As I have mentioned before, this began with the Illuminati inciting the French Revolution and rejecting religious moral authority. With Auguste Comte in the mid-1800s developing the Religion of Humanity where man, not God, is the final moral arbiter of right and wrong. This is how Lucifer/Satan, seduced Eve in the Garden of Eden.

A few years after Auguste Comte's secular humanist principles were published, Madame Helena Blavatsky founded the Theosophical Society on October 10, 1875. It was Luciferian, and Blavatsky (later with Annie Besant) edited the magazine LUCIFER in the late 19th century. This was at the same time L. Frank Baum wrote THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ, which was a theosophical allegory.

Alice Bailey became the theosophical leader in the early 20th century, and her works were first printed by LUCIFER PUBLISHING in 1921. The next year, the name changed to Lucis Trust, which later managed the United Nations Meditation Room for many years. In 1933, Bailey published the pamphlet THE NEXT THREE YEARS (1934-1935-1935), in which she declared that the outer form of the World Federation of Nations "will be... taking rapid shape by 2025."

In the latter part of the 20th century, a young Barack Obama became a community organizer disciple of Saul Alinsky, who in his RULES FOR RADICALS (1971) had an Acknowledgment to Lucifer, and advocated that the radical organizer "rub raw the resentments of the people; fan the latent hostilities of many of the people to the point of overt expression.... An organizer must stir up dissatisfaction and discontent.... He knows that all values are relative... truth to him is relative and changing."

During this same time, modernist Catholic Pope John Paul II (who had 3 6-pointed stars on his papal seal) was canonized a saint. He had kissed the Koran in 1999, just as the current Pope Francis also did. This is all part of the PE's movement toward a one-world religion, as earlier this year, Pope Francis told Vatican guests that the spiritual teachings in the Koran are just as valid as THE HOLY BIBLE, and he declared: "We can accomplish miraculous things in the world by merging our faiths, and the time for such a movement is now."

This syncretistic "merging of all faiths" is part of "The Plan" and is exemplified in A COMMON FAITH, written by John Dewey in 1934, the year after Dewey co-authored the anti-God HUMANIST MANIFESTO. Dewey is greatly admired by most public school teachers today as the "Father of Progressive Education." 

There are few preachers today who alert their congregations to the fact that while there are 2.2 billion people on earth who call themselves Christians, THE HOLY BIBLE in 4 places declares only a "few" are chosen or saved. Perhaps this is because Satan/Lucifer has been reduced to little more than a caricature in red tights rather than the powerful evil spirit which he is.

THE HOLY BIBLE (John 12:31, 14:30, and 16:11) calls Satan/Lucifer "the prince of this world," and he is now being given a "makeover." Next month, the FOX television network will begin airing "Lucifer," a series about the devil who has come from hell to be a consultant at the Los Angeles Police Department (and he has a lover and a therapist). These programs are psychological probes and unfortunately will condition people not to take Satan/Lucifer (who can come as "an angel of Light") and hell as seriously and fearfully as they should. It is similar to the process explained in the following epigram by Alexander Pope (1688-1744):

"Vice is a monster of so frightful mien,
As to be hated, needs but to be seen;
Yet seen too oft, familiar with her face,
We first endure, then pity, then embrace."

And the reason the "Old Deluder" Satan/Lucifer can do this is because many people have been reduced to what Aldous Huxley in THE DEVILS OF LOUDON called "a state of almost mindless subhumanity," obsessed with immediate self-gratification.

Scandinavia gets a clue about Muslim migrants

Not long ago, there were words, images, and ideas absent from our lives.  But the religion of war has invaded like a deadly disease, and savagery has afflicted civilization, as it has done, waxing and waning, for 1,400-plus years.  So that’s how you wind up with hundreds of barbarians (otherwise known as “migrants” or “asylum seekers”) who recently arrived in Norway with images on their mobile phones of executions, severed heads, dead children, and terror symbols including the ISIS flag.  Meanwhile, these barbarians cross into the West unchecked.  The Daily Mail reports:

The revelation comes amid heightened fears that ISIS is exploiting the migrant crisis to smuggle fighters into Europe, following last month’s attacks in Paris.

Police admitted that the ‘explosion’ of refugees crossing into the country over the summer and in recent months meant that security checks were less thorough than required, and weren’t checking the background of those entering the country. (snip)

The Police Immigration Service (PU) in Norway has been forced to work overtime and under severe pressure due to the massive numbers of asylum-seekers hoping to take refuge in the country.  

Say what? “Security checks were less thorough than required,” and authorities “weren’t checking the background of those entering the country.”  And, oh dear, people have had to work overtime.

Can someone – anyone! – please tell me when the West became this shockingly stupid and suicidal?  A toddler could figure out the basics of national security better than our so-called leaders.  (1) You don’t just let people waltz across the border of your country.  (2) You don’t admit people without knowing a wee bit about them

Is that so hard to figure out?

Meanwhile, next door to Norway, dozens of Swedish citizens have received letters signed by ISIS threatening that they must convert, pay the jizya tax, or die (by decapitation).  Raymond Ibrahim writes on an RT Arabic report:

The letters warned their recipients that they had three days to decide.

Written in the Swedish language, the letters appeared yesterday on dozens of homes in different cities at the same time.  Police are reportedly taking the threat “very seriously.”  Among other regions, letters appeared in the cities of Ronneba, Sigtuna, Vstroes and the capital Stockholm.

Along with threatening those who refuse to convert to Islam or pay the jizya with death, some letters also threatened their recipients with “the bombing of theirs [sic] roofs above their heads.”  The letters further warned that the police will not save recipients of the letters and that “death would extend to all.”

Any American who thinks this is not coming here, if not already here and waiting to strike, is living in a fantasy world.  The evil that is Islam knows no bounds, as we have seen unthinkable savagery unfold before our eyes.  At this point there is precious little standing between us and this Hell on Earth.

No one dare think we are immune because it’s happening over there (the Middle East), or over there (Europe), or over there (New York City), or there (Boston), or Fort Hood, or Oklahoma, or Merced, or San Bernardino.  Or it’s in a mosque implicated in terror that’s in some city, but not my city.  Or schools indoctrinating our kids (but I don’t have young children anymore).  Or a town near a Muslim jihad training compound (I don’t live near any of those towns).  Or a place where the FBI is investigating ISIS in all fifty states (probably wouldn’t be where I live).

And on and on.

The war is here.  But no one seems to care.  We’re not lemmings.  We’re frogs in a pot of slowly boiling water.

And what was once a pristine country is already starting to look like a third world trash heap. The highways are littered with mile after mile of garbage and waste.
