Iron Dome Operator: God Moved Missile We Couldn't Hit

If you aren't familiar with the various miracles which assisted Israel in 1948 and 1967, they are worth reading and there are many. The recent incursion into Gaza by Israel has had several interesting stories as well:

Israel’s Iron Dome anti-missile system has been wildly successful during the current Gaza war, but on occasion it can and does miss incoming terrorist rockets.

One would think that the 10 percent or so of Hamas rockets predicted by Iron Dome’s radars to hit populated areas that are not intercepted would still cause significant Israeli casualties. But somehow, they don’t.
An earlier, unconfirmed report floating around the Internet had a Gaza resident attributing the lack of Hamas accuracy to Israel’s God moving the rockets off-course to protect His people.

“We do aim [our rockets], but their God changes their path in mid-air,” a Hamas commander was said to have told someone who wondered why Gaza-based militants can’t seem to hit their targets.
Whether or not that report is accurate, an Iron Dome operator whose battery failed three times to down an incoming missile headed toward Tel Aviv last week said the overall assessment is.

In remarks relayed to an Israeli news site (Hebrew), the Iron Dome battery commander recalled:

"A missile was fired from Gaza. Iron Dome precisely calculated [its trajectory]. We know where these missiles are going to land down to a radius of 200 meters. This particular missile was going to hit either the Azrieli Towers, the Kirya (Israel’s equivalent of the Pentagon) or [a central Tel Aviv railway station]. Hundreds could have died.
"We fired the first [interceptor]. It missed. Second [interceptor]. It missed. This is very rare. I was in shock. At this point we had just four seconds until the missile lands. We had already notified emergency services to converge on the target location and had warned of a mass-casualty incident.
"Suddenly, Iron Dome (which calculates wind speeds, among other things) shows a major wind coming from the east, a strong wind that…sends the missile into the sea. We were all stunned. I stood up and shouted, ‘There is a God!’
“I witnessed this miracle with my own eyes. It was not told or reported to me. I saw the hand of God send that missile into the sea.”

  1. Yes!! I am loving these stories coming out lately reminding us first hand just how much God is with us always. :). Thank you Heavenly Father for reminding us just how close you are to us each day and how much you love all your children.

I never knew about those other moments but I will most certainly look them up.

Thank you. I need stories like these to remind me all the glory goes to him and him alone.

    God Bless!!

  3. Hi Dear Sis!
I hope you'll really enjoy these two videos. They are 2 outta 13 I believe, and were made a few years back. They were played on several Christian networks. They are really good reenactments, and stories of how God has helped and protected Israel and His People during modern day wars.
Hopefully will talk with you soon Sis!
    Big Hug!

  6. Many thanks for these sources. We read the bible and try to get the picture of their sufferings and miracles but it can be so hard.

Then today we are bombarded by so much, it is wonderful to have these to just bask in and reflect. It never even crossed my mind that articles were out there showing his miracles/blessings of protection in a time of battle. I am grateful to look at these.

    Thanks!!

Whats has been, and still is, amazing to witness, is Gods Army for His Land, is STILL battling their enemies. Thousands of years have passed, and He still has His Army that He has raised up for such a time as this...WOW!

  9. Along the same lines, a former American Jew, Tamar Yonah, migrated to Israel and is a host on Israel National Radio.

Several years ago, she spent several years putting together a series of radio shows documenting the Supernatural events that have happened in Israel's wars. Often, she interviewed on radio the actual people involved. It was astounding.

For years, INR carried these shows in their archives which could be accessed by computer. Not sure if they are still there, its been a few years since I was a listener.

  10. I finished all 13. I am so very grateful to have learned about these from you. :). #12 was very touching, but all were simply amazing.

One can really learn in these tough times to call out to God and know he is there for all his children. I feel like I found some nugget of wisdom and insight that was missing on my life's journey. Thanks so much for the links and blog. If we don't bring these important facts to the forefront of our daily living and thinking, then we miss out on the blessings and lessons that are interwoven into our tapestry of life.

    God Bless!!
