Netanyahu: Iran 'Weeks Away' From Crossing Red Line

This news just came out a few hours ago, but if true, this represents very important story:

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu launched a rhetorical offensive against Iran on Sunday. The move came amid unease that the world might be enticed by a “compromise proposal” that Jerusalem believes Tehran is hatching, and concern that regional turmoil was distracting everyone’s attention from Iran’s nuclear march.
Senior Israeli officials said the Iranians were considering a proposal whereby they would agree to a temporary halt of uranium enrichment to 20 percent, and even agree to convert some of that enriched material to a lower grade, in return for a partial lifting of sanctions.

“This is an insignificant and meaningless concession,” one senior official said.
“The Iranians have invested a lot in upgrading centrifuges and have the technological ability to replenish their stockpiles within a few weeks. We will totally oppose this sort of proposal because it does not offer a real solution.”

Netanyahu, meanwhile, told an American audience on CBS News’s Face the Nation that regarding the 20% enriched uranium, the Islamic Republic was just 60 kilograms short of crossing his “red line.”
He defined this line – beyond which the Iranians should not be allowed to proceed – as being the possession of 250 kg. of 20% enriched uranium, enough fissile material for a nuclear bomb. He said they now had 190 kg., up from about 110 six to eight months ago.

Netanyahu said the Iranians were also building “faster centrifuges that would enable them to jump the line at a much faster rate. That is, within a few weeks.”
“They’re getting closer,” he said. “They should understand that they’re not going to be allowed to cross it.”
Asked when he would make a decision to attack, Netanyahu responded: “I can tell you I won’t wait until it’s too late.” He added that it was “important to understand that we cannot allow it to happen,” and that the Israeli and US clocks on this matter were “ticking at a different pace.”

“We’re closer [to Iran] than the United States,” he said.
“We’re more vulnerable. And therefore, we’ll have to address this question of how to stop Iran, perhaps before the United States does. But as the prime minister of Israel, I’m determined to do whatever is necessary to defend my country, the one and only Jewish state, from a regime that threatens us with renewed annihilation.”

Netanyahu’s tough rhetoric is widely seen as an attempt to reinsert a sense of urgency regarding Iran, urgency that some in Jerusalem feel has been lost due to the election last month of Hassan Rouhani as Iran’s new president, and also because of the tumultuous events roiling the region.
Representatives of the six world powers known as the P5+1 that are negotiating with Iran – the US, Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany – are scheduled to meet Tuesday in Brussels to discuss strategy now that Rouhani is about to take over.

  1. I think we have heard ALL THIS before. The Israeli PM continues
to talk about red lines FOR ATLEAST A
YEAR NOW, and has done nothing.

Iran no doubt has MANY NUKES already.

    many.

  2. thats true, but the red line has always been targeted as coming this summer, so the message has been very consistent

  3. Scott....
I had always thought that the Ezekiel war would bring about the peace agreement.

    But..

Ezekiel 38:11 mentions something about Israel living in safety.

    Ezekiel 38:11 KJV
And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

Is it possible that the peace agreement could come first, then maybe the invasion.
Just a thought, love to hear your opinion

  4. I believe that root word is actually 'securely' - but this is off the top of my head. I've never thought that particular word has so much meaning.

In one sense, they are living as securely as they have since '48 right now as a result of their military advantages. However, those who believe that God-MaGog will occur soon after the beginning of the Tribulation make the point that it could come soon after the AC's peace agreement (if that is what you are alluding to) - and I can see that POV.

For other reasons, I believe Gog-MaGog takes place before the Tribulation, and that ushers in the AC (in the aftermath of the battle) and his peace plan. Then the Trib begins.

But as with a lot of things, I'm not dogmatic. One thing that I have a hard time reconciling, in my mind, the burning of the weapons isn't something that would take place into the 1,000 yr reign. It just doesn't make sense that this burning of the weapons would overlap (by a brief period) with the Mill reign.

So the way I see it - if Gog-MaGog were to take place in the Trib, it would have to be within weeks (and the burning of the weapons could end during the "extra days" given in Daniel 12 (between the Tribulation and the beginning of the 1000 year reign.). But for Gog-MaGog to fit in during the Trib - in my view - would have to take place inside that tight time-frame.

Having said that - I still believe it happens before the Trib, but after the Church is taken up.

  6. I think I have to agree with Bibi . Has anyone noticed that with all the other "scandals" and unrest in the Middle East that Iran has literally disappeared from the headlines ? But there are much more important headlines like the Trayvon Martin case and Paula Dean that people should be distracted er interested in .

    Peace
    Nate

  8. If you talk to the average Joe in Israel, they do feel like they are living safely & in peace At least that's what my friends in Israel tell me. Maybe they don't want to dwell on the danger? Or they have become accustomed to it?

  10. Brother Nathan,
Why would you believe we will "get our heads lopped off in the future by big brother NSA ?". That is a Trib event that we the Church will not go through...

  11. The words "Peace and safety", come from 1 Thessalonians 5:3. In Ezekiel 38, Gods Word says that Israel is "at rest", followed by a comma, "that dwell safely".

    Ezekiel 38:11
11.And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

    1 Thessalonians 5:3
3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

God describes His People as being "at rest" followed by the enhancement of "dwell safely". Why "at rest"? At "rest" from what? They will be recovering from the horrendous Isaiah 17 war, which leaves them helpless, severely wounded, and vulnerable to the Ezekiel 38 invasion just as God wants them to be. They will have God, and God only to save them.
Ezekiel looked into the future at Israel, and saw no "defense" walls around the many cities (villages) of Israel. The walls of Ezekiel’s day, wouldnt stop missiles or anything else for that matter, in today’s world. In addition, a "village" in Ezekiel’s day, without walls, would indicate that they have no enemies - no need for defensive walls, they were secure...
The ac will not be revealed, in power, until after the beginning of the Trib, and by that time the Church is gone...we wont be here to see who the ac is...

  13. False teaching of His Word...errors all over the place...NEVER seen such manipulation like this before, but then again, this is exactly what we were warned of in these Last Days...

Whew...just so interesting "watcher",what a coincidence, your post of these false teachings is EXACTLY what others have tried to promote under a multitude of fake names, or "anons".

Just touching on a couple of false teachings in this/these videos, we are NOT already in the Trib. It did not begin centuries ago, and Ezekiel 38-39 will NOT occur during the Trib.

Please, invite the Holy Spirit, open His Word for yourself, and read. Please be assured, we His Church ARE NOT going through the Trib...

  14. Mrs C, the video does not mentioned the Church, which part can be proven false?
What can support that eze 38 is not where the video say it is?
