First we look at another article revealing the growing divide between the U.S. and Israel - here, Joel Rosenberg gives his take on the situation:
As 2013 begins, Israelis are preparing to head to the polls next week for national elections. In so doing they will choose the Knesset (parliament) and Prime Minister they want to lead them into challenging and uncharted waters. The good news: they’ve discovered massive amounts of natural gas that could soon make them energy independent. The bad news: well, how much time do you have?
Israelis see secular nationalist regimes in the Arab world imploding — Egypt, Libya and Syria among them. This is creating new instabilities and security challenges in an already dangerous neighborhood. They know Jordan’s King Abdullah could be toppled by Radicals. They know a war with Iran over nuclear weapons has been mercifully delayed, but may lie just ahead. Most Israelis see their nation being increasingly isolated internationally. In that context, they highly value a strong, healthy U.S.-Israel alliance. However, tensions appear to be spiking once again between the Obama administration and the Netanyahu government.
President Obama – who clashed repeatedly with Netanyahu over the past four years — has been privately telling colleagues that “Israel doesn’t know what its own best interests are.” Translation: Netanyahu doesn’t know what he’s doing in foreign policy and he risks alienating the White House.
Next week, Netanyahu and his party are likely to be re-elected. Netanyahu will likely have the opportunity to build a new government. That government will likely be a predominently right-of-center coalition that by-and-large agrees with him on how deal with Iran, the Palestinians and the turmoil in the Arab world. Given that Obama was just reelected — and won’t face voters ever again — and sharply disagrees with Netanyahu’s world view and foreign policy, a troubling showdown, appears to be developing.
The President’s dismissive quote about the Israeli leadership was quoted in a new columnpublished by Bloomberg and written by Washington-based Mideast expert Jeffrey Goldberg. Let me close with some noteworthy excerpts, though I’d recommend you read the whole thing.
- When informed about the Israeli decision, Obama, who has a famously contentious relationship with the prime minister, didn’t even bother getting angry. He told several people that this sort of behavior on Netanyahu’s part is what he has come to expect, and he suggested that he has become inured to what he sees as self-defeating policies of his Israeli counterpart.
- In the weeks after the UN vote, Obama said privately and repeatedly, “Israel doesn’t know what its own best interests are.” With each new settlement announcement, in Obama’s view, Netanyahu is moving his country down a path toward near-total isolation.
- And if Israel, a small state in an inhospitable region, becomes more of a pariah — one that alienates even the affections of the U.S., its last steadfast friend — it won’t survive. Iran poses a short-term threat to Israel’s survival; Israel’s own behavior poses a long-term one.
- The dysfunctional relationship between Netanyahu and Obama is poised to enter a new phase. Next week, Israeli voters will probably return Netanyahu to power, this time at the head of a coalition even more intractably right-wing than the one he currently leads.
The U.S. vs The U.S.
There is clearly a growing divide in America and where this will lead is anyone's guess. Right now this is dominating the news, so to ignore it would be misleading.
In my humble opinion, the fall of America and/or its movement towards totalitarianism is all part of the overall plan. In simple terms, a strong, free America is completely inconsistent with a world dictator such as the antichrist. With a strong and free America (just recall the Reagan era) would never allow a such an evil dictator to take over. WWII is a classic example of the fate that would await him.
Clearly, for the final pieces of the prophetic puzzle to come together, America must fall from from its position of representing and supporting freedom via "peace through strength" and must fall from the America that the world has known during the last generation.
And indeed this fall is happening at light speed. Not just a weakened military, and a collapsing financial structure, but a weakened constitution and the rapid decline in almost every other aspect (morality, respect, traditions, education, free press etc.).
Recent news reveals these tragic but unfortunately, necessary facts:
While the White House was busy drafting proposals to ban assault rifles, the last of the regulations imposed on Saudi travel to the United States after September 11 were being taken apart. While some government officials were busy planning how to disarm Americans, other officials were negotiating the transfer of F-16s and Abrams tanks to Muslim Brotherhood-run Egypt.
Obama is unwilling to trust Americans with an AR-15, but is willing to trust a genocidal terrorist group with Abrams tanks and F-16 jets. The F-16’s M61 Vulcan cannon can fire 6,000 rounds a minute and the 146 lb warhead of its HARM missiles can do a lot more than put a few dents in a brick wall. The Abrams’ 120 mm cannon can penetrate 26 inches of steel armor making it a good deal more formidable than even the wildest fantasies of San Francisco liberals about the capabilities of a so-called “assault rifle.”
While Obama has not been willing to respect the Constitution of the United States and its Bill of Rights, he was willing to arm a terrorist group whose motto is, “The Koran is our constitution, the Prophet is our leader, Jihad is our path and death in the name of Allah is our goal.” If a High School student wrote that on his Facebook page, he would be in police custody within the hour, but an international organization and national government that trades in such rhetoric gets devastating firepower from our government… free of charge.
In addition to giving the Hezbollah-run government of Lebanon two hundred M113 Armored Personnel Carriers, Obama deliberately turned a blind eye while Al Qaeda and other Islamist rebel groups in Libya received arms shipments from Qatar. Those weapons included a good deal more firepower than anything you can buy at Wal-Mart and later made their way to Mali and Syria. More weapons made their way into the hands of Hamas terrorists in Gaza. Whether any of these weapons were used in the assault on the Benghazi mission is unknown, but entirely possible.
This double standard is the defining motif of this administration. A handful of mass shootings is enough to deprive all Americans of their constitutional rights, but the worst act of mass murder of Americans is not enough to deprive Saudi Muslim students looking for a good flight school of their visas.
If President Mohammed Morsi, who only two years ago described America as an enemy, and who has since then tortured and murdered his only people can be trusted with Abrams tanks and F-16s, then surely the American gun owner can be trusted with an AR-15 and a clip that holds more than ten rounds.
This is an appropriately long article, complete with most of the glaring examples to make the points, and it is worth reading. below is the introduction and conclusion only:
If someone were to ask you for an example of a “totalitarian society”, how would you respond? Most Americans would probably think of horribly repressive regimes such as the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, Communist China, East Germany or North Korea, but the truth is that there is one society that has far more rules and regulations than any of those societies ever dreamed of having. In the United States today, our lives are governed by literally millions of laws, rules and regulations that govern even the smallest details of our lives, and more laws, rules and regulations are constantly being added.
According to Merriam-Webster, the following is one of the ways that the word “totalitarian” is defined: “of or relating to a political regime based on subordination of the individual to the state and strict control of all aspects of the life and productive capacity of the nation especially by coercive measures”. And that is exactly what we are witnessing in America today – nearly all aspects of our lives and of the economy are very tightly controlled by a bunch of control freaks that just keep tightening that control with each passing year. We still like to call ourselves “the land of the free”, but the truth is that we are being transformed into a totalitarian society unlike anything the world has ever seen before. Where will we end up eventually if we keep going down this road?
If America continues down the path that it is on right now, the United States will eventually be transformed into a “Big Brother society” that is far more restrictive than anything George Orwell ever dreamed of.
We need a fundamental cultural revolution in this nation. We need a revival of the principals of liberty and freedom that were so important during the founding days of this country. We need to teach people that even though liberty and freedom may be unpredictable at times, such an environment is greatly preferable to a society where all of our decisions are made for us by a tiny elite.
Please share this article with as many people as you can. Time is running out, and we need to wake up as many as we can while there is still time.
If you are looking for normal political solutions out of this legal, financial, moral and spiritual mess of a country, I believe that time has long passed. If your hope rests in a change with the midterm elections, go back to sleep or better yet, increase the dosage of your medication. It is clearly evident by the actions and inaction of the spineless or compromised leaders in whom you’ve placed your hope and future, and the future of your children and grandchildren, that doing so again will change nothing. We are a captured operation, and partisan politics is nothing more than theater to divert your attention from the iron fist of tyranny that is about to change life as you know it.
You must understand that our nation today is ruled not by democrats or republicans, but by the party of royalty with a European mindset and a Globalist agenda. The morphing from a two-party system into one of elite royalty did not happen overnight, but incrementally and under the proverbial radar of a deliberately distracted public.
Would you believe me if I wrote that the government is not after our guns? Probably not, as it certainly looks that way with the pending executive orders and new gun legislation. Well, the guns are secondary. I urge you to think bigger, “think outside of the box.” Make no mistake about this, they will come after our guns, but they are coming after us.
By believing in the Constitution, we’ve earned ourselves a spot on the latest incarnation of the White House enemies list. By supporting the Constitution as the ultimate law of the land, we’ve identified ourselves as an enemy of the state. By “clinging” to our guns and Bibles, we pose a danger to the globalist agenda rooted in socialism, fascism and communism. By understanding that we are being victimized by an out-of-control banking system, we have earned a spot on the “single-cause” terrorist watch list. By becoming informed of the tyranny that exists before us, we have become a threat to their ultimate global objectives.

They are afraid of not just the guns, but of by a well armed and well informed populace that understands the meaning and intent of the Second Amendment. It is the well informed and the well armed that they fear, as they should. The are racing against the clock as we become more informed and better armed. Accordingly, they must act in haste, as they see us rapidly peeling away the layers of lies that have kept them insulated for so long.
I read the lies printed by our traitorous media telling us that guns are evil, that guns are bad. They reprint and broadcast the same old lies over and over again like broken records. “Britain and Australia are so much better off since guns were banned” they lie. The depth, breadth, and arrogance of their lies is breathtaking in its audacity.
There can be only one reason for such vociferous and sustained lying—it is a power grab by The Powers That Be to steal “we the people’s” ability and right to be assertive; to stand strong and defiant against the tide of tyranny. The Founders of the United States appreciated all too well the dangers inherent in any government, and they provided safeguards for “we the people” in the Bill of Rights—which The Powers That Be have been trying to dismantle ever since.
Maj. L. Caudill (USMC Ret.) recently wrote a fine article defending gun ownership, and correctly stating that it is a civilized and civilizing practice.

When I carry a gun, I don’t do so because I am looking for a fight, but because I’m looking to be left alone. The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced, only persuaded. I don’t carry it because I’m afraid, but because it enables me to be unafraid. It doesn’t limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force. It removes force from the equation… and that’s why carrying a gun is a civilized act.

The 15-year prison sentence given to a woman and her seven children by an Egyptian court for converting to Christianity is a sign of things to come, according to alarmed human rights advocates who say the nation's Islamist government is bad news for Christians in the North African country.
Samuel Tadros, a research fellow at Hudson Institute's Center for Religious Freedom, said conversions like Nadia's have been common in the past, but said Egypt's new Sharia-based constitution "is a real disaster in terms of religion freedom."
"The cases will increase in the future," Tadros said. "It will be much harder for people to return to Christianity."
President Mohamed Morsi, who was elected last June and succeeded the secular reign of Hosni Mubarak, who is now in prison, pushed the new constitution through last year.
Tadros said the constitution limits the practice of Christianity because "religious freedom has to be understood within the boundaries of Sharia." He added that the constitution prescribes that the highest Sunni authority should be referred to as an interpreter of the religion clause contained in the constitution.
In just two months the globalists of the UN will gather in New York City to put the final touches on plans to impose strict regulations worldwide on the right of the individual to buy, sell, trade, or own guns and ammunition.
On March 18, 2013 in New York City the next round of negotiations is scheduled to begin, with one aim in mind: eradicate private gun ownership.
On Christmas Eve, 2012, the United Nations General Assembly approved a resolution to renew negotiations on the global Arms Trade Treaty (ATT).
The measure was approved by a vote of 133-0, with 17 countries abstaining.
As reported by Reuters, the foreign ministers of Argentina, Australia, Costa Rica, Finland, Japan, Kenya, and the United Kingdom — the countries that drafted the resolution — released a joint statement praising the passage of the resolution to move ahead on the global gun ban.
"This was a clear sign that the vast majority of U.N. member states support a strong, balanced and effective treaty, which would set the highest possible common global standards for the international transfer of conventional arms," the foreign ministers said in their statement.
Within hours of his securing his reelection, President Obama placed a late night call to the U.S. United Nations delegation ordering them to vote in favor of a passage of L.11.
Regardless of the questionable timing of the Obama administration’s green light to the globalists' gun grab, the U.S. government was now placing its full weight behind convening a “Final United Nations Conference” for the proposal of a treaty imposing worldwide gun control regulations.
Reuters quotes Brian Wood of Amnesty International:
After today's resounding vote, if the larger arms trading countries show real political will in the negotiations, we're only months away from securing a new global deal that has the potential to stop weapons reaching those who seriously abuse human rights.
The definition of an “abuse” of “human rights” will be left up to a coterie of internationalist bureaucrats who will be neither accountable to nor elected by citizens of the United States.
Foreshadowing of what we will be seeing across the country:
California’s cities have been going bankrupt left and right over the past few years. But what is it actually like to live in a bankrupt city? A new New York Times profile of post-bankruptcy San Bernardino paints the picture, and it isn’t a pretty one: plummeting home prices, dead animals left to rot in the streets, and, most troublingly, gang violence on the rise again as the police force trims down to a skeleton crew:
In San Bernardino, dozens of officers have been laid off since the bankruptcy filing, leaving the police force with 264 officers, down from 350 in 2009. Those who remain call in sick more often, said the police chief, Robert Handy. Emergency response times are up. Nonemergency calls often get no response. At the same time, as part of a plan to reduce the state prison population, nearly 4,000 criminals who would once have been sent to state prison have been put in the custody of San Bernardino County law enforcement authorities. Some have been released, putting more low-level criminals back on the streets of San Bernardino, Chief Hardy said, and adding to the challenges already faced by the police.“All of our crime is up, and the city has a very high crime rate per capita anyway,” Chief Handy said. “I can’t police the city with much less than this. We’re dangerously close as it is.”As lawyers wrangle in court over San Bernardino’s plan to cut $26 million from its budget and defer some of its pension payments, city officials say there is little more they can do to turn back the rising tide of violence.
This is what a blue death spiral looks like. Years and years of unsustainable pension promises, profligate spending and poor fiscal leadership slowly add up until the money runs out and there’s nothing left to pay for the services that keep the city running. Bankruptcy can help get a city’s finances back on track, but it’s extremely difficult to run a city on a shoestring budget, as San Bernardino is now learning.
It is truly unfortunate that the good citizens of San Bernardino are caught up in this mess. In the meantime, this should serve as a warning to the rest of us.
Well, family....maybe time for a little homework. There is a law that was passed that cannot be repealed, and it makes everything that's being done illegal on a national level. Unfortunately, from what I understand, it has mysteriously disappeared from "on line" viewing.
ReplyDeleteThis came to me last night and the research I've done says its valid. IT established 3 kinds of militia in the US and forever gave us rights to own whatever and as many guys, ammo, accessories as we choose.
Its titled the Efficiency of Militia Act of 1902, but became know as the Dick Act, or HR 11654
http://www.standupfightback.us/dick-act-of-1902-also-known-as-the-efficiency-of-militia-bill-h-r-11654-of-june-28-1902-forbids-gun-control/#sthash.3Ya0shnd.dpbs
From what I understand, it was written in such a manner it can never be repealed.
Interesting times....
Wonder why it disappeared from the internet????
Yep Mr Caver - I read this same thing last night. Its true. Of course the current administration is ignoring a lot of laws right now.....
