Prophecy Unfolding In The Middle East

In addition to the troubles in southern Israel (see previous post below), the article below is interesting because it reveals so much in terms of recent events in Syria which point to even more prophetic developments in the region. As stated before, we have fallen off of the cliff of prophetic developments, as things are happening now in a very rapid manner:

This article is worth posting in full:

A week after three Syrian tanks moved into the Golan Heights where they stayed for several hours before leaving, a mortar shell struck the Golan Heights this morning fired from Syria. There were no injuries and Israel retaliated with warning shots into Syria. Syria is testing Israel’s resolve to hold on to the Golan Heights, taken in the 1973 Yom Kippur War. This is being touted by the MSM as the first direct conflict since a cease fire in 1974. Technically, Syria and Israel have never ceased being at war. It has been quiet since the ceasefire, but make no mistake… Syria wants that land back and if they get it, it will be the end of Israel. Israel cannot afford to give it up – their survival depends on it. However, saying this is the first direct conflict since 1973 is not exactly correct. Remember, in 2008, Israel took out Syria’s nuclear facilities in “Operation Orchard” and rightly so. They delayed an oncoming firestorm by taking it out.

From the Jerusalem Post:

Israel limited its return fire, since its policy is to only fire intensively in response to coming under major Syrian fire. “We didn’t continue firing because this was one mortar we were responding to,” the source said.
“We will not accept any firing into our territory,” he added. “This was a signal to the Syrians, that we will not be so forgiving of everything that lands in a territory.” The source stressed that as of now, Israel and Syria were not a in a conflict situation.
The IDF is currently on standby for a security deterioration on both the northern front and the border with Gaza.

After the incident this morning, Israel filed a complaint with the UN, who promptly ignored them and did nothing. The UN is populated by radical Islamists, so this is no surprise.

Israel is now totally surrounded by the enemy and America just reelected a President who hates Israel. They can no longer depend on America as an ally. Once again, as seen throughout history, Israel stands alone, but not entirely. They have God at their side, which is worth more than any other ally.

Meanwhile, Barack Obama is aiding and abetting our enemies, getting our soldiers, ambassadors and personnel killed; all the while pushing Taqiyya and going to massive lengths not to offend the Muslim world and paying homage to the Mullahs of Iran. He is the ultimate enemy from within and made America a Marxist offer they evidently couldn’t refuse.

From Reuters:

In a statement, the Israeli military said soldiers had “fired warning shots towards Syrian areas”.
“The IDF (Israel Defence Force) has filed a complaint through the UN forces operating in the area, stating that fire emanating from Syria into Israel will not be tolerated and shall be responded to with severity,” the statement said.
There was no immediate comment from the 1,000-man United Nations Disengagement Observer Force which patrols the area.

Turkey, Jordon and Lebanon have all had similar run-ins with Syria on their borders as of late. Turkey has retaliated.

Meanwhile, the rebels in Syria (who are populated by the Muslim Brotherhood, Obama’s new best buds) are begging for more help from the US. While America cannot see fit to help their closest ally Israel, they seem to be helping the rebels with arms and intel. This feeds into the furthering of a worldwide caliphate and eliminating Israel. All of the violence in Syria will eventually lead to a war with Israel, which may have been the not-so-subtle plan all along.

The Islamic world is more than willing to slaughter their own (36,000 dead in Syria so far) to further planetary conquest. At some point they will combine forces and go after tiny Israel. And the Russians will stand in the background with the Iranians rubbing their bloody hands, chuckling with evil glee. Barack Obama will be the ultimate pawn on a geographic chessboard populated by dictators, evil Mullahs and corrupt politicians, moving towards a hellish checkmate for the soul of humanity. Well done America. Well done.

It is hard to discern if Israel can see all this unfolding… I believe they do, although they protest to the contrary, outwardly hoping for Assad’s fall and saying they don’t believe Syria means them harm. Syria has ALWAYSmeant them harm, so I take this diplomatic fluff as simply deflection while they continue to prepare for the war they now know is unavoidable.
From the AP:

On Sunday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his Cabinet that Israel is “closely monitoring” the border with Syria and is “ready for any development.”

Earlier, Defense Minister Ehud Barak warned, “If a shell falls, we will respond.”
Israel fears that if Assad’s regime is toppled, the country could fall into the hands of Islamic extremists or descend into sectarian warfare, destabilizing the region.
It also is afraid that Syria’s arsenal of chemical weapons and missile could fall into the hands of its Lebanese ally, the Hezbollah guerrilla group, or other anti-Israel militants if Assad loses power.

The aftermath of Egypt’s revolution has also provided Israel with reason to worry about its frontier region with Syria: Egypt’s Sinai desert on Israel’s southern border has turned even more lawless since longtime Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak was ousted in February 2011, and Islamic militants are now more easily able to use it as a launching ground for strikes against southern Israel.

When Conservatives lost the presidential election this week to a committed Marxist and a close friend of Jihadists, I not only mourned for America and all she has fought for… I mourned for Israel, God’s chosen children. Those that turn their backs on Israel, turn their backs on God. May He have mercy on the United States, but I’m beginning to doubt that and now I understand why we are not mentioned in end times eschatology.
While Islamic foes poke the Israeli badger, hoping for a violent response to provide them cover to attack, the Israelis are showing their nerves of steel in a complex battle that has implications for all of us. The Syrian conflict is the perfect excuse to attack Israel in a series of battle forays. Forget about the fog of war, the radical Islamists are practicing the fog of misdirection. Let’s hope that fog is not cleared with a nuclear detonation.

Israel surrounded by her enemies? Check.

Progress towards Isaiah 17? Check

America's abandonment of Israel and God's declaration of Genesis 12:3? Pending or ongoing.

Once again, we see how rapidly things are progressing prophetically. Honestly? This is a very exciting time to be part of Jesus' church - very exciting. We know what awaits and that is all good news. Look up, our redemption is drawing near.

  1. when do you consider the prophecy is fulfilled, in the beginning, midst or the end?
and luke 2, Simeon only saw the child Jesus, and yet he see's God salvation and the Light for the Israel and gentiles.

Isa 17 and Jer 49 prophecies about damascus and its people, like Simeon, we could see it clearly Israel part in its desolation. (Israel fires back) we are sure that this is not the last, but only the beginning of a large scale operation.
Believe Isa 17 and Jer 49 has come or some can continue to fool themselves that it has not happened yet, because they are not raptured yet.

  2. Anon- Not sure what your question is. Prophecy fulfillment is often a process; and that is what we are seeing - a process. I have no idea what your last sentence is supposed to mean - I do believe we are seeing the early phases of a large scale operation.

  3. Anon - As you have posted MANY times before, the same untruth, its amazing how you wait until the moderation is off to post the same stuff, again.
Please, this is not a bite to your standard bait question, as you have done numerously in previous posts, so as you can then post your erred interpretation of Scripture.
Isaiah 17 has not yet been fulfilled. No not partially, no not half way, but the entire Scripture has not yet been fulfilled.

After many long months of missile attacks in Southern Israel by Gaza terrorists, Netanyahu finally says enough.
    Preparations are now underway.

Meanwhile, Syria is firing on Northern Israel and Iran is huffing and puffing to their West. Before Israel sets its sights on Iran, they likely need to take care of Gaza, then Syria.

Looks like Psalm 83 . . .then Isaiah 17 . . .to remove two fronts before Israel turns its attention to the bigger Ezekiel 38-39 war.

  5. considering the comment of this mrs.C, she believes that Isa 17 and Jer 49 prophecy about damascus, has not come yet, to the point that, even a small bit of it has not yet fulfilled. unlike, Simeon of luke 2, and i suggest she read it. When Simeon saw the child Jesus (before his crucifixion), He saw God Salvation, and the fulfilment of prophecy of light to the gentiles.
probably Mrs C. believes that Isa 17, will be fulfilled after the rapture, that is why she is having difficulty accepting what is happening in Syria.
Scott on the other hand, answered it with understanding. When he believes that there will be large scale operation by the Israelis, believing Isa 17, that Israel shall have part in Syria desolation.
Mrs C, can continue to believe that it has not happened yet, its her choice, as others here can choose to believe her.
As scott said, it is a process, you can also choose to believe that we are in the midst of that prophecy and prepared yourself if you are in Syria to get out.

  9. I'd be more curious to know why people feel the need to be anonymous when making what they know to be controversial statements. If one truly stands by their statement, why hide behind the cloak of anonymity? Especially when referring to Mrs. C as "this Mrs C".

Scott, is there a mechanism to require people to post using their name or user name as most other sites do?

The fact is . . .Damascus HASN'T been destroyed, EVER. It's 5000 years old and still going strong.

  10. Hey guys, haven't commented in a while. Here's a post from Netanyahu's facebook page that got posted today: " I met today in the city of Ashkelon with the foreign ambassadors in Israel. During the meeting I said the following: "The world must understand that Israel has the right and a total obligation to defend its citizens. We are not going to sit idly by when we confront the repeated almost daily attacks on our citizens and children

"Over 1 million citizens have to live in a reality where within 15 or 30 seconds they have to find cover from terrorists who fire on civilians, while they themselves hide behind civilians. This is a grave war crime, none of your governments would accept such a situation, we do not accept such a situation, I as prime minister of Israel am not prepared to accept such a situation, and we are going to take action to put a stop to this"

And btw, anon #1 (we'll call ya), you are again in great error with your "assumptions" regarding what you say my statements of Isaiah 17. You have been lurking around, interjecting untruths, and stringing out posts in order to push your own erred interpretations for some time now, knowing full well what we have discussed of Isaiah 17 and the Rapture.
With sincere and truthful discussions, we all fellowship.

I humbly believe, the process has already begun. Syria and Israel are currently exchanging missile fire as Syria tries to pull Israel into the fray. The link I posted above indicates Netanyahu is planning to stomp Gaza. My guess would be, they're going to hit Gaza hard, then knock at Damascus . . .then Iran. All in rapid succession. The last thing they want/need is war on multiple fronts. Especially after the report out yesterday by Israel's chief military officer, that nukes would be the only way to halt Iran's nuclear program.

apology, if this sound provoking, just consider me as someone who is in desperate need of an answer, as most of elders here believes it has not come yet, for sure there must be a reason or an event when they will consider this to begin.

  19. Anon, have you read Isaiah 17? It's all about the complete destruction of Damascus in a single night.. In 732 BC, the Assyrians defeated the Arameans in Damascus . . .but the city was not destroyed.

Damascus is known to be the oldest city still in existence.

AN 'Official start cafe's is an irrelevant point. we are seeing the stage being set for the pending event which is the destruction of Damascus obviously stemming from a clash between Israel and Syria. northern Israel isn't in desolation yet so it hasn't started yet nor is there any real warfare between Israel and Syria. Now. I'm asking you in a very nice way to stop this nonsense.

  22. Robin,
yes i have read Isa 17. thank you for asking.
in fact, if you search for a word "day", you will find i think 5 times it was used using kjv.
and we know it is not considering just a single day, or a literal day.
and returning to reality, to destroy a city in one night will take a nuclear weapon or at least hundreds of bombs, missiles.
and Isa 17 says there will be remnant and they will flee.
fleeing will not happened if you nuke them.

    ReplyDelete
  23. And why not? There were survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasake. There's no reson to believe every single living thing would disappear. So no . . .we do NOT KNOW it won't be a single day. And I question whether or not you read it because I'm looking at several versions and they say "evening" or "night" none say a single day.

    ReplyDelete
  24. A. The Bible clearly states the destruction of Damascus will happen in one night! while Damascus is getting pounded daily, she has not fullfilled prophecy YET! When there is "trouble at evening time" and "in the morning, she is no more!" Then you have fulfillment.
    B. SCOTT-when many different servants of God who have no confection to each other come to the same conclusion its very sobering. With this in mind, I am requesting you to watch my favorite Christian Palestinian preacher in Hawaii. Yesterdays Aloha Bible Prophecy Uodate was stunning. JD always seems to have a special edge to the ME info.
    C. It was a little unnerving to see Hal LIndsey kind of shaken. Even when you know whats coming and have ben preaching on it for over 50 years, its gotta be hard to actually watch it come to pass. Woe to those who aren't psying attention. On this note, going today to buy more dog food! I'm kind of in a weird spot right now. Totalky trusting (as usual lol) God to take care of me tho. Thursday I have court again about my apt which is in a foreclosed building. I'm the last remaining tenant so you know they want me out badly! I'm hoping I can stay til May, but I might find myself in a gotta move in one day situation. Which would be extremely difficult for me. It also makes it extremely difficult to prepare for an emergency since stockpiling is almost impossible in this very unstable situation. But I am EXTREMELY THANKFUL TO GOD that he has allowed me to stay this long. Please pray for me to HEAR CLEARLY from God as to what I ned to do next! (id ask for prayer to let me stay stay, and thats very welcome indeed, but hearing clearly from God and following his will is more important even if it means living in my car)
I'm not sure what is coming next-frightful or delightful-but I do know it is going to be quite the adventure til the Golden Chariot swings low and scoops us up in one fell swoop complete with world wide instantaneous pickup stops signaled by a shofar blast of unequaled magnitude!
Quick question here guys. Will only believers hear it or wil ask mankind hear it?
Blessings to all! Come quickly Lord Jesus!

  25. Wow, I am a bit unnerved being 2500 miles from home at the moment. Scott as you said it looks like things now are going to take off at warp speed.

Obama now unrestrained, Petraesus and Benghazi, earthquake in KY, Gaza and Syria tensions building toward Isaiah 17 and Iran and Russia waiting in the background for Ezekiel 38 and the aftermath of Sandy continues...My eyes are about to pop out..It is just crazy. I guess I can fly away from CA just as easily as I can from WV but I would rather be at home at the moment.

The wife got searched by TSA on the way out but I escaped the pat down...

I am a bit depressed as I discovered my son and wife while both saved and living for the Lord voted for Obama. They are totally duped by the CA culture. Both have been bitten by the ecology bug the "Free" health care. I decided to keep the peace this time and not make a big issue since we are guest at their home but I am just so upset that they could be so blind. All I can do is trust the Lord to open their eyes.

My other two kids both young women both voted and openly supported Romney. Not sure what happened to my son?

  26. Anon, its hard to know if you're being deliberately obtuse or really are seeking answers to questions. The word "day" in that chapter, isn't being used as "day" but rather as a period in time. But specifically, when we say "a SINGLE NIGHT" this is the exact scriptures the text is coming from:

    Isaiah 17:12-14
      * Listen! The armies of many nations
roar like the roaring of the sea.
Hear the thunder of the mighty forces
as they rush forward like thundering waves.
13   * But though they thunder like breakers on a beach,
God will silence them, and they will run away.
They will flee like chaff scattered by the wind,
like a tumbleweed whirling before a storm.
14   * In the evening Israel waits in terror,
but by dawn its enemies are dead.
This is the just reward of those who plunder us,
a fitting end for those who destroy us.

  27. just to response to robin,
exactly what i am saying, this prophecy is for a period of time.
    not just one night.
i am aware of that verse.
    1. who are the enemies, Damscus or all nations?
    2. who is waiting, Damascus or Israel?
    3. do the nations roar at Israel or Damascus?
for someone to say it has not come yet, is saying that period of time has not started yet.
are we at the beginning or middle of that period of time?

Your behavior is that of school children when the teacher leaves the room! ie - moderation off. Still drawing innocent Brothers and Sisters in to waist their time, more importantly Brother Scotts valuable time. How many times now have you done this? with the "which comes first" nonsense with Damascus and Isaiah 17. You deceive when you say that its for a different reason you want to know. Why? Because youve done this many times before with the exact same words!
Oh, and nice, here we go again Brother Scott...the "team" is back.

Please, we are so close...I feel so sorry for your team members, truly we are so close and yet you have nothing better to do with your time? Actually, you are fulfilling prophecy. Jesus tells us in Matthew 24, you have a choice while we wait for Him. Are you a good Servant, or the bad Servant mistakenly thinking you have lots of time before He comes for us...you would be wise to think on that...

    Matthew 24:45-51
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

    48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

    49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

  37. Nathan-

I have been watching this today that is so far from the truth if one ignores them then they will go away. That statement has been tried and everyone knows it works like this in effect...

"Let me with nothing but free time to dabble in speculation sit around a cause strife with glee on my face and some chuckling laughs. Let me as well as my umpteen different alter ego's chime in like we are all separate people, trying to sound sincere when the actions are not meeting that. Let me get what I want to hijack a board with false teachings, because after all it's all about me!... Sound familiar???

It is not going to go way because not only is this sick in spirit it s a serious sickness of the mind that they think they can justify. It is not going to go away because their false teachings, fear mongering and continual lies and deception need a home. So in essence we who want sincere fellowship need to stand back and entertain such evil? I think not, and the Lord has a remedy for that too.

Funny, how as soon as moderation is lifted you who are doing this think it is all forgotten, but you see you forgot yourself, you were not so smart after all. I will leave you with that for now. So, Nate is it?.. no, leaving it alone and entertaining this evil farce is not what we should be doing as watchmen. Instead of entertaining these laughable statements, we need to stop them and show others how to handle these types of lies they too will come up against.

The applications for turning the other cheek does not include having fellowship with evil, hurtful ways. We need to shine the light on it, call it as such and separate from it's in godliness. Two years and especially this last year of pacifying this topic is over. We are getting ready to go home and I bet the fingers will still be attached to the keyboard typing that last prank, just to be spiteful and hurtful. You who are doing this have played every card from victim to scholar and I pray as always the Lord is dealing with you in his time and way.

Just because you get these twinges if guilt and try to pay nice for what 3days? Doesn't make your heart and intent right instead of helping. It is over my friend, the only person we should be chasing is Jesus. Maybe this post should have waited until another day when I wasn't so sick, but enough is enough and God will NOT bless corruption. Shame on you for abusing a wonderful gift from above.

  38. J.D.-

Again, I will say this and this will have to be my last post on this for many reasons. You support this but I have to ask you, how do you know it WILL go away? We have seen this statement claimed under various fake names and the only way it goes away is by interception with Moderation on or the liar, that is what we have here, is the constant spirit of lies and deception among us, wanting the platform so they can say and do what they want and maybe they will go away?? No, that is right all these statements say they WILL go away.

Okay..so when did this blog become to be submissive to the constant evil doers who are operating in a twisted approach? Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.

The part you seem to forget is our accountability as Christians when we know right from wrong and allow our fellowship and witnessing abilities to suffer due to a fallen Brother/Sister who takes more joy in hardship and harm instead of change themselves?

That is not what the Lord had in mind for the fellow Christians who are to wear that title with dignity and honor and be helpful not purposely hurtful in these last days.

    God Bless!!

  39. If the Bible says it happens in one night . . .theres absolutely no reason to believe this is hyperbole. I honestly don't know what you're driving at and since it would appear you might not either . . .perhaps it would be better for you to do an in depth study of Isaiah or at least of chapter 17 and compare it with historical fact.

As for your questions, as I understand it:

    1. In THIS particular chapter, Syria is the enemy.
    2. The scripture says "Israel waits in terror"
    3. Israel is surrounded by enemies and THEY roar at Israel.

It began a very long time ago, as you well know. The night Damascus will be destroyed has not happened yet, and you know that also. This prophecy culminates with the destruction of Damascus. As this prophecy relates to that of Psalm 83 and Ezekial 38-39, its widely thought e're nearing culmination of that prophecy being fulfilled completely.

Now, Robert . . .to your last statement, I wasn't aware i was being harsh . . .rather patient, I thought, frankly. But my patience begins to wear thin when one refuses to identify themselves and treats others rudely as you did with Mrs. C. If that wasn't you, I'm sorry . . .but this, again, is all the more reason I feel strongly people should identify themselves when posting here . . .even if by a silly pseudonym.

  40. Miss Robin, just wanted a quick shout here to let you know that I did answer your question on Sunday's post about the petition. It was much later so I thought it may have been missed.

Geepers at the Anon here.....don't you guys have any shame. Use a name at least and be accountable for your harassment.

  42. Well one thing is for sure. Israel is surrounded, by her enemies. That prophecy is at the door, not knocking
    ...but kicking.

  43. So I guess "anon" (hiding behind the proverbial keyboard) you dont have anything to do with your time but sew strife, and steel time from others. Just hang around waiting for the Moderation to be turned off. So very sad.
You are greatly in error about Isaiah 17, and as you have been around for a while, trying to promote your own version of Scripture, no bait will be taken here.
Guess you've chosen the bad Servant role in these Last Days. Jesus' Words speak for themselves. Its not to late, He is waiting for you.

    48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

    49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

  44. Ahhha.......I do know the answer to your question anon. What hour will the Lord come? Yes....the correct answer is.......whatever hour he so chooses.

  45. Thanks Nathan, Ally and David. I'm still bummed. He was raised better. He is a great son but has been influenced by the climbing culture and the Cali culture. He is super laid back very much unlike me and his mom. Haha we probably over dosed him on sports and non-stop pace we live life. Ally would must likely fit better with your family being a bit of a modern day hippie. Like David said he is a solid believer but just not into to politics to really know what these guys stand for.

I come to CA and we have an EQ in KY that is felt at home and I am sitting on the San Andreas fault as I type and nothing. :)
