Entering The Most Fateful 50 Day Period

...here are some of the latest developments I’m watching closely:

Iran has doubled its uranium enrichment capacity at its most secure, hardened, underground nuclear facility at Fordow, near the religious city of Qom, despite all of the economic sanctions, according to a new IAEA report.

Israel’s 14-member Security Cabinet met on Tuesday for a 10-hour meeting to discuss the latest intelligence on the Iran nuclear threat and consider Israel’s military options.

“Former Likud and Kadima member Tzachi Hanegbi said this week that he believed the fate of Israel’s conflict with Iran will be decided within the next 50 days,” reports the Israel Hayom news service.

Prime Minister Netanyahu is scheduled to be in New York City to address the opening session of the U.N. General Assembly from September 27 to September 30. If Israel has not launched an attack before then, and he does in fact make the trip, it would be expected that Netanyahu may give a final ultimatum to the regime in Tehran.

Canada has just shut down its embassy in Iran and will expel all Iranian diplomats from Canada in the next five days. With this move, Prime Minister Stephen Harper remains the most pro-Israel leader on the world stage. He also may be signaling he believes war is imminent.

That said, the left-of-center Israeli newspaper Haaretz is reporting this week that Defense Minister Ehud Barak may now oppose an Israeli strike against Iran before the U.S. elections in November. There is considerable buzz about this in Israel. But the question is whether this reporting is accurate, or whether this is disinformation designed to confuse the Iranian regime.

Iranian Warships Scoot Through Suez

Egypt once again has allowed Iranian warships to pass through the Suez Canal on their way to the Mediterranean Sea, a move which not only underscores Egypt’s intent to improve relations with Tehran but opens the door for the Islamic republic to send warships directly to Syria and Lebanon

Over U.S. objections, the Egyptian navy allowed the warship to pass from the Red Sea into the Mediterranean. According to regional sources, the Iranian warship was carrying weapons to Syria.

“The Egyptian navy refused a U.S. request to strike an Iranian ship loaded with weapons that was on its way to Syria through the Suez Canal,” according to Suez Canal Authority chairman Mohab Mamish.

Mamish has underscored the Egyptian navy’s control over the canal.

From the time of the 1979 Iranian revolution, Egypt, under Mubarak, would not allow Iranian warships to pass through the Suez Canal.

Chemical Threat Is Back. Hizballah, Israel Close To CLash

The first US-Turkish backed steps for creating safe havens in Syria and possible strategic bombardment of the Syrian army have brought the Middle East close to two dangerous junctures:

The Syrian army’s use of chemical weapons, and an outbreak of hostilities between Hizballah and Israel. The creeping Western involvement in the Syrian conflict was not previously acknowledged and the Lebanese Shiite Hizballah rarely figured publicly as a fighting prop of the Assad regime.

That is until the dam burst Friday and Saturday, Sept 7-8.

The United States then admitted that US officials and intelligence agents were training and aiding Syrian rebels from positions on the Turkish border – and therefore directly intervening in their operations.

The thinking in some circles in Washington is that Russia’s disengagement from its support of the Assad regime and cutoff of essential weapons, have opened the way to severing the military bonds tying Assad, Hizballah and Tehran together. As long as those bonds are viable, it will be that much harder to bring Assad to heel and subjugate his armed forces.

The revelation by British military sources Friday, Sept. 7 that 150 elite officers and troops of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards had flown into Syria was intended as a warning to Tehran that the time had come to pull its hand out of the Syrian fire.

This rush of events may bring closer to reality the action feared most by Western powers, Israel, Turkey and Jordan that, as his enemies close in, Assad will bring out his chemical weapons.

Consciousness of this approaching threat led Washington sources to disclose Friday that Syria’s nuclear arsenal was bigger and more widely scattered than suspected hitherto. It was also an admission that Washington was no longer fully apprised of the scale of this arsenal or its locations.

Last week, Israeli media were too preoccupied with the likelihood of war with Iran to notice that Israel and Hizxballah had moved up to the brink of a major clash. The war alert declared by Israel’s armed forces in mid-week had only partly eased by Saturday.

More New Documents Show TSA Intends To Deploy Body Scanners At Rail, Bus, Ferry Terminals

Yet more documents uncovered under the Freedom of Information Act have revealed that in the year prior to rolling out radiation body scanners in airports, the TSA was drawing up long term plans to deploy the machines at “ferry terminals, railway, and mass transit stations” as well as unspecified “other locations”.

“You can expect {the scanners] at train stations, bus stations, subways, highways, cruise ships, and anywhere that “transportation” happens (i.e., everywhere).” Corbett writes. “And, where the body scanners go, so does the groping, since the body scanners have at least a 40% false positive rate which needs to be resolved by blue-gloved gestapo.” he adds.

The documents also detail the fact that the TSA refused to conduct any form of study on what effect the radiation firing scanners would have on the environments they are placed into.

Indeed, the DHS specifically issued an order “exempting” the scanners from environmental review.

EPIC filed a specific lawsuit against the DHS for attempting to keep the program secret.

In February 2011, EPIC discovered (PDF) that the DHS had paid contractors “millions of dollars on mobile body scanner technology that could be used at railways, stadiums, and elsewhere” on crowds of moving people.

According to the documents, the TSA plans to expand the use of these systems to peer under clothes and inside bags away from airports.

As we previously reported, while the focus remained on the TSA’s use of naked body scanners at airports, the feds had already purchased hundreds of x-ray scanners mounted in vans that were being used to randomly scan vehicles, passengers and homes in complete violation of the 4th amendment and with wanton disregard for any health consequences.

As we have previously documented, airport security style checkpoints and inspection procedures are already in place at bus terminals,train stations, and are rapidly being expanded to the streetsof America. The body scanners, it seems, are not far behind.

Agents have even been spotted roaming around at public events such as sports games and music concerts, political events, and even at high school proms.

The ‘Transportation’ part of the TSA’s acronym has presumably been dispensed with as the Department of Homeland Security attempts to create an occupying army of security goons at every public event.

The TSA has also announced its intention to expand the VIPR program to include roadside inspections of commercial vehicles, setting up a network of internal checkpoints and rolling out security procedures already active in airports, bus terminals and subway stations to roads and highways across the United States.

DHS "See Something, Say Something" Campaign Headed For A Mall Near You

Recently, the DHS brought attention to their snitch campaign when they began asking fans at sporting events to “help keep the country safe by reporting anything suspicious they see,” but the program has been “keeping us safe” long before that.

In December 2010, DHS expanded their “See something, say something” campaign to the Mall of America, who is not owned by Simon. The campaign involved “both print and video advertisements throughout the mall’s shopping and amusement park areas to help the thousands of daily tourists and shoppers to identify potential threats and suspicious situations.”

Also in 2010, we reported an announcement Napolitano made basically stating that behavior scanners would be making their way into sports events, rock concerts and shopping malls. The Hill article has since been modified after their controversial headline sparked outrage. (Again, by looking at the URL we can see the original title of this article was “Next Step For Body Scanners Could be Trains, Boats and the Metro”

As we’ve reported, the behemoth governmental entity, created on the pretext of external terror threats, has gradually (and arguably effectively) managed to realign its cross-hairs to target domestic threats, specifically Americans who are “suspicious of centralized federal authority,” “reverent of individual liberty,” and people that “believe in conspiracy theories that involve grave threat to national sovereignty and/or personal liberty.”

Trumpeted as necessary for the safety and security of the public, the DHS’ snitch campaign, since its official implementation on January 1, 2011, has been incrementally conditioning unsuspecting Americans into welcoming a police state takeover wherein the TSA or DHS would be present at every public venue, be it federal building, sports stadium, high school prom, or even right in your community.

Democrat Platform's Exclusion Of Jerusalem: State Dept. Smoking Gun

The State Department today again refused to name the capital of Israel, even after being questioned by the press and even after the Democratic party (President Obama’s party) voted yesterday to add language to its platform stating that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.

Here’s the remarkable exchange from today’s press briefing, with reporters and press secretary Patrick Ventrell:

QUESTION: On Israel?

MR. VENTRELL: Yeah.

QUESTION: Which city does the U.S. Government recognize as the capital in the – Israel?

MR. VENTRELL: Well, as you know, longstanding Administration policy, both in this Administration and in previous administrations across both parties, is that the status of Jerusalem is an issue that should be resolved in final status negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians. So that’s longstanding Administration policy and continues to be so.

QUESTION: I mean, no city is recognized as a capital by the U.S. Government?

MR. VENTRELL: Again, I just stated our position, and it’s one we’ve said here many times before.

QUESTION: That means Jerusalem is not a part of Israel?

MR. VENTRELL: What it means is that the status of Jerusalem must be resolved in final status negotiations.

QUESTION: But….

Beyond Politics: The Removal Of God - Three Times

The removal of God

Jesus said to him, “Truly, I tell you, this very night, before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.” Matthew 26:34

As I watched Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, the head of the Democratic National Convention call for a voice vote to amend the platform to reinstate God and Jerusalem back into its party platform, it was evident that there was not a two-thirds majority so inclined. He called for its passage three times, and each time, the response appeared to lack the needed majority. A group of Arab Americans in particular protested loudly, shouting “no” to the question of re-instatement of God and Jerusalem removed earlier from the platform. Obviously ignoring the thunderous objections and while attempting to act as normal as possible, the amendment was pushed through anyway.

I found it interesting that the measure was voted on three times, and in actuality,denied three times.

That is, of course if you choose to believe your lying eyes, or in this case, your lying ears. It also brought to mind the biblical scripture when the apostle Peter chose not to believe that he would deny Christ three times, yet did. However unlikely it will be for anyone in the corporate media to make this connection, I believe we are witnessing the unfolding of biblical events as prophesized in the Holy Bible.

It is critical to understand that the removal of direct references to God from the 2012 DNC text was an active and deliberate process that changed the entire structure of the party platform. It was a deliberate omission by the Democratic party under Obama, represents an accurate platform of his beliefs (or lack thereof), and regardless of what the talking shills for Obama might say, met with his approval.

We are bearing witness to the unchecked erosion of our nation’s founding principles that once put God front and center. We are watching as our leaders insult and mock God, and of one thing I am certain, God will not be mocked.

Even as Christians and Jews, we are standing by and allowing our leaders to convince themselves and the intellectually brainwashed and morally bankrupt people of our nation that tolerance of immorality, decadence, and evil in general is a virtue and an expression of free will that is to be defended.

And then there is the issue of Jerusalem:

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. Zechariah 12:3

Does anyone except perhaps Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow really believe that the 2012 DNC platform that omits the reference of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel was not an intentional affront to the nation of Israel and the entirety of the Jewish people? While both political parties bear the moral responsibility over the last half-century for not moving the U.S. embassy to the holy city of Jerusalem, the 2012 omission was not only a deliberate poke in the eye to every Jew and Christian, but a direct poke in the eye of God.

Events, especially in politics, do not happen in a vacuum and this is no different. The Middle East is a virtual powder keg, and the fuse to the next world war has been purposely lit by the backers of Arab Spring, supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood, and by the spirit of the anti-Christ that currently occupies the highest political offices in the U.S. You don’t have to be an evangelical Christian to see the prophetic implications of the most recent events at the hands of our collective leadership.

For decades, leaders of the United States have been attempting to establish a Middle East peace plan. Nearly all of our presidents have pushed Israel to give up land in exchange for peace, something that will never be met with success. Some have even urged Israel to divide the Holy City of Jerusalem, which by the way, is the only city in the Middle East where Jews, Christians and Muslims are granted the freedom to practice their own religion.

Just as the God of Christians and Jews will not be mocked, neither will He tolerate the city of Jerusalem or the nation of Israel to be divided. God makes his command known in Genesis 12:3: “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

There is no room for God in Communism or the ideology of socialism, and Obama has personally or through his proxies done much to implement his fundamental changes as outlined in those Communist objectives. The Progressives are supporting him, and the majority of the right are allowing the agenda to continue with nary a whimper. God help us all.
