Inconvenient Truths

This article - another good one from Caroline Glick - is so contrary to popular belief, and contrary to the constant drumbeat of the MSM, it makes you do a double-take. The political incorrectness is stunning. However, read the article 2-3 times, and see if you can find yourself in disagreement with any of her comments or observations. I couldn't find disagreement with a single statement.

Sometimes the truth is tough to swallow, but often it must be dealt with.

We know from prophecy that true peace will never exist in Israel until the second advent. In the short term, there will be a brief period of temporary peace when the antichrist arrives on the scene, soon to be followed by war and destruction (Revelation 6). Still, this is a fascinating read and worth reading in full:

Two weeks ago, US Congressman Joe Walsh published an op-ed in the The Washington Times in which he called for the US and Israel to abandon the two-state solution.

After running through the record of Palestinian duplicity, failed governance, terrorism and bad faith, he called for Israel to apply its sovereignty to Judea and Samaria. In his words, Israel should “adopt the only solution that will bring true peace to the Middle East: a single Israeli state from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. Israel is the only country in the region dedicated to peace and the only power capable of stable, just and democratic government in the region.”

The evidence that the two-state paradigm has failed is overwhelming. The Palestinians’ decision to reject statehood at Camp David in 2000 and launch a terror war against Israel made clear that they had not abandoned their refusal from 1947 to accept partition of the Land of Israel with the Jews.

So, too, the Palestinians’ election of Hamas in the 2006 elections, and their missile war against Israel from Gaza in the aftermath of Israel’s complete withdrawal from Gaza in 2005, all made clear that they are not interested in a Palestinian state. Rather, their chief desire is Israel’s annihilation.

Indeed, the fact that there is no Palestinian leader willing to recognize Israel’s right to exist makes clear that if a Palestinian state is established in Judea and Samaria – in addition to the de facto Palestinian state in Gaza – that state will be in state of war with Israel. All territory under its control will be used to attack the rump Jewish state.

Given the abject failure of the two-state paradigm, it is abundantly clear that for all the complications that may be associated with the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, it is a better option for Israel than Israeli surrender of the areas.

And below is a little known fact, even amoung prophecy watchers, but it is important to know and understand:

The Palestinians’ decision to turn the issue of Palestinian statehood over to the UN constituted a substantive breach of the treaties the PLO signed with Israel. Those agreements stipulated that both sides agreed that their conflict would be solved through negotiations and not through unilateral actions. By ending negotiations with Israel and turning the issue of statehood over to the UN, the Palestinians canceled their treaties with Israel. Consequently, Israel is no longer bound by those accords and is free to take its own unilateral actions, including applying its laws to Judea and Samaria as it did in Jerusalem and the Golan Heights in the past.

And this:

...addicted to the fable of the two-state solution. Their addiction to this fable – that argues that after a century of Palestinian devotion to the annihilation of Israel, the Palestinians are suddenly willing to meet Israel halfway – is what propels these Jewish activists to attack anyone who points out reality. It is what drives them to brand as a foe anyone with the temerity to suggest a better way forward.

The real tragedy is that this myth has been the official policy of the government of Israel for the past 19 years. Since then prime minister Yitzhak Rabin launched the peace process with Yasser Arafat in September 1993, to greater or lesser degrees, every Israeli government has kept faith with the two-state solution lie.

It hasn’t mattered that the Palestinians rejected statehood and peace not once, but twice. It hasn’t mattered that the Palestinians received Gaza lock, stock and barrel with no strings attached and used the territory to launch an illegal missile war against Israeli civilians.

To maintain faith with this failed policy, Israel’s leaders and representatives are not merely required to ignore the history of the past 90 years of Palestinian rejection and aggression.
They are required to ignore current events.

IN RECENT years, poll after poll has shown that the majority of Israelis do not believe that the two-state paradigm will bring peace or that if a Palestinian state is formed, it will live at peace with Israel...the Israeli people have been given no other option to consider. Rather, we have been told over and over again that giving our enemies a veto over our rights, land and security is the only alternative.

  1. What's the worse that could happen as result of Israel annexing Gaza and the other territories? Average Palestinian Joe would receive proper food, medical, transport infrastructure....goodness they might even be able to get a job.
If the crazies and anti-zionists running the world want to call annexing slums a crime against humanity then 'good' in the world is officially gone out the window.

  4. Hi Mrs. C~

I have an odd question to ask. I was reading that article below on what is happening with the flight attendents who work for the Alaska Airlines. For some
odd reason I can't shake this passage out of my mind:

    Isaiah 3:17
Therefore the Lord will bring sores on the heads of the women of Zion; the LORD will make their scalps bald."

So then I looked at the other references. Does this apply to what is happening today or what has already happened in the past since it is in the book of Isaiah?

I appreciate your thoughts on this. Have a great weekend.

    God Bless!!

If anything, they are prophetic in a sense...as through their support of the WH occupier they demonstrate how easily folks will believe the great delusion to come...

  11. Hi Dearest Sister GG, :)
Oh boy, this is a good one! I just had to giggle, the giggle you have when you see Gods Word is so True! That for me, is the Joy of the Lord! :)
Isaiah 3 has already taken place, and is not related to the Alaskan Flight Attendants. Women of Zion, daughters of Israel, are the Jewish Women of Israel. Isaiah 3 is the Judgment on Judah and Jerusalem. When Isaiah spoke through the Word of the Lord, it was I believe around the end of the 8th Century. Judah, the southern Kingdom, was about to repeat the behaviors of the 10 Tribes to the North, that were captured by the Assyrians and taken into captivity in 722. Judah was in rebellion against God. They had been warned, and Isaiah describes the destruction of Jerusalem to come.

They had become very full of Sin in Gods Eyes. Prideful in their own wealth, and they oppressed the poor whom they could have cared less about their needs. God exposes the vanity and pride of the women even how they dress, all was to His great displeasure. He notices EVERYTHING! Wasting their wealth on themselves with pride, while neglecting those in need. So they had it coming!
Now, here is the giggle part I mentioned earlier :) The final Verse of Isaiah 3

    Isaiah 3:26
26 And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.

The destruction of Jerusalem will be certain, and Isaiah states that the “gates shall lament and mourn”. As I understand it, the Gates were the regular meeting place for husbands of the daughters of Israel, whom had died in war. The second part states that “she” Judah, will be “desolate” and “shall sit upon the ground”. In ancient times, a Jewish woman sitting on the ground was a way of showing extreme grief, as we seen in Psalm 137:1

    Psalm 137 :1
By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.

So Isaiah is saying Judah, will experience intense grief. In 70AD, Rome invaded Jerusalem and destroyed Jerusalem. To celebrate, Rome minted a series of commemorative coins to honor their victory over Judea. They inscribed some of the coins with “Judaea Capta” . Depicted on the coins was a woman (who represents Judea) sitting on the ground under a palm tree, with one hand on the head, leaning forward, and the other hand hanging over the knee, and some with the hands tied behind the back. Isaiah had for told exactly how Judea would be, Jerusalem destroyed, Judea the woman weeping and sitting on the ground…here is a link that shows those very coins! Scroll down so you can see the different ones

  12. OK, I've been patiently sitting here for an hour and a half as Mrs C joyfully went on this study journey.

The inscriptions of the Israeli captives, exactly paralleling scripture, is phenomenal. If you didn't go to the link provided and scroll down to see all those coins and compare them with the scriptural references being discussed, you are missing something. His word is true to the smallest detail.

Ladies, best wear your best to church tomorrow...and modestly too. From these references, its obvious our Father is aware of exactly what we're wearing....and has distinct thoughts on the subject.

  13. Hi Mrs. C~

Thank you so much for the help in understanding this scripture and how it applies. That is really an eye opening account of what has already taken place. The Lord is so good. He truly does what his word says he will do in one form or another. What an impact he will have on us all in one form or another in they days ahead. :)

That scripture was striking me in such a profound way. With so many last day events, I just could not get my head around the possible connection of Israel, located in Southwest Asia. Sheww....many heartfelt thanks to you, Dear Sis!! I learn much from your teachings and sharing of scripture.

    God Bless!!

  14. Hi Mr. C~

You are too funny! Yes, I can see he is watching us all VERY closely. When you think about it, especially in India as an example, they just love their precious attire for many ceremonies too. Many baubles, gems, jewels and head pieces too.

I will go to church with a new perspective. Thank you both for the time on this topic. It was close to my heart and with many families I still have traveling over there, I just want to know they will be coming home free of these extra worries with new babies.

    God Bless!!
