This new video summary by Hal Lindsey is a must see. It covers the prophecies given to the prophet Ezekiel which pertain to our era in biblical history:

  1. nice video.
Is the church still here when this ezekiel 38-39 war happens, or we are already "snatch away" as Hal Lindsey would say it?

  2. Thats anybody's guess, as (unlike the relative timing in terms of the tribulation) the scriptures don't specify. Having said that, I believe there are some good reasons to believe the gathering up takes place prior to the war of Gog-MaGog

  3. And, we now have the event I have
been waiting for. The DOW just
    closed under 12,700.....hard to
    believe but true.

    Confirmation is needed.

BUT, it appears that bulls are
    starting to get concerned with
    their massive long positions.
Also, this business in CA, and
    their budget troubles, that is
    VERY serious.....

If that were to cause a CRASH in
the Muni Bonds (MUB) who knows
    how bad that could be.

    CA is really really bankrupt....

    and in deep trouble.

  4. To anon....while i disagree with hal lindsey placing this war in the middle of the tribulation he is right about everything else. this may have been discussed before but here's why i think the church is gone
1)God is dealing with the nations in judgement...a post rapture senerio
2)Gods attention is focused again on Israel...a post rapture senerio
3)God is making himself know thru mighty power...a post rapture senerio

  5. We had a glorious celebration of my fathers life today. Jesus was honored and the gospel was proclaimed. While painful to say good-bye we know that is temporary. Thanks to all for your prayers, they were certainly anwswered. I was reminded again about the beauty of being in God's family and a child of the King.

I've beeen checking in daily and seeing amazing posts by Scott. It is so clear that Jesus must be coming soon. The developments continue to blow me away.

I saw an article the other day that indicated there are thousands of Christians in Damascus. That leads me to believe again we may well be gone prior to Isaiah 17 for that war as well as what Scott said on Gog-magog.

I agree w you on everything, including the timing of Gog-MaGog ---> I see this as happening before the Tribulation, and the last event that leads to the rise of the AC and the confirming of the covenant. In addition, Islam will have been destroyed (at least radical Islam immediately surrounding Israel) - and they will have to agree to the rebuilding of the Temple. I can't see that happening before Gog-MaGog...We know it will take around 18 months to rebuild the Temple, so that would also be a 'fit.

Also - I agree with your list, completely. And to add to that, importantly, would be the fact that the Church believes by faith, not by sight --- and Gog-MaGog God will be very much in "sight" as He dramatically reveals Himself. This is completely inconsistent with the Church Age, so therefore I believe it happens outside of the Church age.

  8. Oh WV-I'm so glad you made it through o.k. Its so nice to know it wont be long til were are reunited at the celebration of the milenium! And your Dad is saving your seats for you! Giggle. Thats kinda cool to think about.
Not too many people in my family will be there unless the Holy Spirit really gets moving. I keep hoping and praying though. Some days I'm not even sure I will make it. Some people I have to forgive so many times. I think its done and over then poof, something rears its ugly head.
I hate satan. He is such a jerk!
Even though everything is lined up, I still think its going to get weird before we are out of here. Maybe a huge "scare" or stock market crash or something to jolt the sleeping awake . And to turn the non believers hearts toward him.
Many nations have received the Lord's judgement previously, Israel included. But on the positive side...we will definately be outta here before the wrath! Hallelujah!
Keep looking up! It is very very close! I can't wait to meet you all, each and every one!

Sorry I spoke too soon !!!!

I need to SEE SOME REAL SERIOUS
selling to convince me the end
is close. Like 300 PLUS down days
    would help on the dow.

  10. WV - nothing points out the stark contrast between a believer and a non-believer than the death of a loved one. We are filled with hope and anticipation of an epic reunion, and the non-believer has nothing but despair.
I made the same observation back in the hospital days - witnessing deaths of believers and non-believers...Quite a contrast. I'm sure my dad will stop by and say hello to him :)

  11. Nice thought on our dads Scott. Thanks. Yes even this morning my mother who took my dad's passing hard made the comment about folks who do not know the Lord. We are most blessed to know this is very temporary. :)

  12. Scott I have read Ezekiel 38 and 39 at least 30 times. I used to think like 95% of Bible Prophecy Teachers, that this battle is before the Tribulation. To make this work you would have to ignore some vital verses within these two chapters. My question is why would God say in 39 verse 7 "that He will make His holy name known in the midst of His people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name anymore", and verses 24-29 of the same chapter, Verse 25 says "that he will have mercy upon the whole house of Israel." 26 says "After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me." Verse 27 and 28 sounds like Matthew 24:31.Verse 29 says Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord God. And then plunge them into the Tribulation period where two thirds are killed and one third escapes into Petra at the middle of the Tribulation. Look at chapter 38 verse 17 does this not describe the Antichrist? Who else does the prophets of Israel prophesy in those days many years that I would bring thee against them? I believe Gog is a demon spirit that possesses the Antichrist the last half of the Tribulation. Thats how Gog can be mentioned again a thousand years later. Satan only gives power to the Antichrist he can't possess him like a lot teach. Although fallen he is still an angel. Angels don't possess. Demons on the other hand are disembodied spirits and they can possess. Please let me know what these verses are saying according to you. God Bless

    - First of all, Matthew 34:31 is a description of the Second Coming. This is when every person on Earth will see Jesus' return - physically - in person.

Ezekiel describes people seeing GOD - through His actions - through how He destroyed the invading nations. These two descriptions are VERY different and not to be confused.

Ezekiel 38:17 is a reference to Gog - the "invader" here and the term "Gog" isn't a name but a description or a title that has been used before in the Bible. It doesn't describe the AC at all.

I can't think of any evidence, scripturally, that links Gog to the antichrist. If you can find it, let me know, but in all of the descriptions that we are well aware of, I can't find a single one linking Gog to the AC.

  14. Scottt, With all do respect Matthew 34:31 is not a description of the second coming, verse 30 is and 31 takes place after Christ comes back. Your second paragraph is mixing two different questions. Read my post more carefully. The word Gog = "mountain" 1)a Reubenite, son of Shemaiah 2)the prophetic prince of Rosh,Meshech and Tubal, and Magog. Gog is a proper masculine noun. Ezekiel 38:17 says "art thou he..." and "I will bring thee..." I believe he and thee are personal pronouns thus making Gog a name. The word Gog is mentioned 11 times in the KJV.Nine of those 11 are in Ezekiel 38&39. 1 time in 1 Chron.5:4, and once in Revelation 20:8.Also I don't see Israel having time to burn the weapons if this battle is before the Tribulation. Mid-way through the Antichrist kills two thirds and sends one third fleeing to Petra, which would put a halt to any weapon burning. God Bless

  15. Scott, You wanted me to show you scripturally where Gog is refered to as the Antichrist. Ezekiel 38:17 says "Thus saith the Lord; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servents the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them? The Antichrist is the only one that the prophets prophesied, and the he and thee in the verse above is a reference to Gog, which indeed is a name. It's gramaticaly undeniable that Gog is a personal name. God Bless

  16. I find it interesting what Isaiah 14:25 says. My Bible commentaries say that the Assyrian is the Antichrist. Now if the mountains are thrown down in Ezekiel 38:20 how can the Antichrist be tread on those same mountains 7+ years later? Also another bit of information. Look at Daniel 11:41. Jordan will still be around during the Tribulation based on this verse. Look who else is involved here in Daniel 11:42-43. I thought Libya and Ethiopia was destroyed during the Gog and Magog war? But Daniel has them at the Antichrist steps. Isaiah 16:1-4 tells us that Israel will flee to Petra and be helped by the daughters of Moab(Arabs)mmm. Give me your thoughts on this information. God Bless

  17. Barry, you are very much incorrect saying satan cannot possess the antichrist, that he can only give power to him, that it has to be a demon who possesses him. Here's what the Bible says, "Then satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the twelve." (Luke 22:3)"As soon as Judas took the bread, satan entered into him." (John 13:27) So satan is perfectly capable of entering into a person. The war of Ezekiel 38-39 can occur as early as 3.5 years before Daniel's 70th week begins, so it is indeed possible that Israel could burn the weapons for 7 years before they flee to Petra. Food for thought.
