U.S. Deploys Fighter Jets To Base Near Iran

The United States military has deployed several F-22 fighter jets to an allied base less than 200 miles (320 km) from Iran, Fox News reported Friday.

"The United States Air Force has deployed F-22s to Southwest Asia," Lt.Col. John Dorrian, Air Force public affairs, said in a written statement. "Such deployments strengthen military-to-military relationships, promote sovereign and regional security, improve combined tactical air operations, and enhance interoperability of forces, equipment and procedures."

The Air Force refused to disclose how many jets were sent or exactly where they are stationed, but US officials have told Fox News the jets are in hangars at the United Arab Emirates' Al Dafra Air Base.

The F-22 – the US' most advanced fighter jet – has yet to see combat. They are stealth, and they specialize in air-to-air combat, but can also strike air-to-ground if needed.

"This is America's premier fighter jet. It has no rival," Fox News quoted one Air Force official as saying.

Russia: Cashing In On Syrian Turmoil

Right on schedule, with the battle of Gog-MaGog approaching:

Russia’s decision to back embattled Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has presented military, political and economic opportunities that could mean billions of dollars in dividends for Moscow

It also could regain for Russia a prominent geopolitical position in Syria by allowing it to fill the political void created by the withdrawal of U.S. influence in the region, according to informed sources.

Moscow, which over the years has supplied the al-Assad regime with billions of dollars in military equipment, feels even more emboldened now that the survival of the regime appears to be emerging and the United States and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization decided not to intervene militarily in Syria’s civil war.

At the same time, Moscow’s show of military force – by positioning its warships in and near the Syrian base at Tartous and by setting up permanent naval patrols off the Syrian coast – displays a strong presence that underscores its backing of its only true ally in the region.

Barak: Iranians Determined To Fool The World

Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Thursday that Iran "is determined to fool the entire world" and obtain nuclear weapons.

"They do so while repeatedly disobeying Security Council decisions and directives from the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna," Barak said. "The last report by [IAEA Director General Yukiya] Amano clarifies the intelligence picture in an unmistakable way."

Barak acknowledged that Israel's "stopwatch" on Iran is "ticking faster" than the US's, because Israel's abilities are more limited. . .

'War' Promised If IRS Attacks Church Speech

While a group that opposes expressions of Christianity in public forums wants the IRS to use its formidable power to crack down on what pastors say, one legal foundation says, “Bring it on,” promising a “legal war” if churches are attacked on such issues.

Americans United for the Separation of Church and State Executive Director Barry Lynn recently wrote a letter to the IRS demanding help in quashing the speech of a leader in the Roman Catholic Diocese in Peoria, Ill.

The April 19 letter calls a recent homily given by Bishop Daniel Jenky a violation of IRS regulations relating to the tax-exempt status of the church, because Jenky cited atrocities of past governments, specifically naming Hitler and Stalin, and then cited the failings of the Obama administration.

The homily was also reprinted in the Catholic Post, and urged Catholics to stand by their religious convictions, even outside the walls of the church.

“Hitler and Stalin, at their better moments, would just barely tolerate some churches remaining open, but would not tolerate any competition with the state in education, social services, and health care,” he said.

“In clear violation of our First Amendment rights, Barack Obama – with his radical, pro-abortion and extreme secularist agenda, now seems intent on following a similar path,” the homily says.

25 Horrible Statistics About The U.S. Economy

The rate of employment among working age Americans is exactly where it was two years ago and household incomes have actually gone down while Obama has been president. Home ownership levels and home prices continue to decline. Meanwhile, food and gasoline continue to become even more expensive. The percentage of Americans that are dependent on the government is at an all-time record high and the U.S. national debt has risen by more than 5 trillion dollars under Obama. We simply have not seen the type of economic recovery that we have seen after every other economic recession since World War II.

The horrible statistics about the U.S. economy that you are about to read are not talked about much by the mainstream media. They would rather be "positive" and "upbeat" about the direction that things are headed.

But lying to the American people is not going to help them. If you are speeding in a car toward a 500 foot cliff, you don't need someone to cheer you on. Instead, you need someone to slam on the brakes.

The cold, hard reality of the matter is that the U.S. economy is in far worse shape than it was four or five years ago.

We have never come close to recovering from the last recession and another one will be here soon.

The following are 25 horrible statistics about the U.S. economy that Barack Obama does not want you to know....

Obama Bypasses Congress, Frees Aid To PA

President Barack Obama has bypassed a Congress block and signed a waiver declaring that aid to the Palestinian Authority is “important to the security interests of the United States,” AFP reported on Friday.

Occupy Prepares Nationwide May Day Mayhem

Occupy’s plans for nationwide May Day chaos are going ahead full-speed ahead, with the movement boasting of “direct action” schemes that include protest marches, shutting down the financial sector, and blocking bridges and tunnels.

The group’s official websites announce plans to “occupy” Manhattan-bound bridges and tunnels as well as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco Tuesday.

“This May Day, Occupy Wall Street, in coalition with numerous other organizations and occupations, calls for a Day Without The 99%: No Work, No School, No Shopping, No Housework, No Compliance. Let’s take the streets, reclaim our communities, and support each other. NOT the 1%.

The plan to shut down the U.S. economy is reminiscent of plans first hatched in March 2010 by Stephen Lerner, a controversial anti-capitalist SEIU organizer. Lerner visited the Obama White House at least four times.

WND was first to report Lerner was the brain behind some of the economic protest templates being used by the Occupy Wall Street campaign.

Lerner last year laid out a mass economic protest plan intended to bring down the stock market. He boasted it could be used to cause a new financial crisis. His ideology prompted some conservative critics to go so far as to label him an economic terrorist.

'Crucify Them': The Obama Way

One of President Obama's radical eco-bureaucrats has apologized for confirming an indelible truth: This White House treats politically incorrect private industries as public enemies who deserve regulatory death sentences.

Environmental Protection Agency administrator Al Armendariz, an avowed greenie on leave from Southern Methodist University, gave a little-noticed speech in 2010 outlining his sadistic philosophy. "I was in a meeting once, and I gave an analogy to my staff about my philosophy of enforcement, and I think it was probably a little crude and maybe not appropriate for the meeting, but I'll go ahead and tell you what I said," he began. In a video obtained and released by Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., Armendariz then shared his bloody analogy:

"It was kind of like how the Romans used to conquer little villages in the Mediterranean. They'd go into a little Turkish town somewhere, they'd find the first five guys they saw, and they would crucify them. And then you know that town was really easy to manage for the next few years. ... So, that's our general philosophy."

EPA Official's Hollow Apology For 'Crucify' Comment Won't Stop Investigation

Sen. Inhofe, who has launched an investigation into the EPA’s “crucify” philosophy, said today that Administrator Armendariz apologized for his words, but not for EPA's actions:

"Administrator Armendariz apologized yesterday for his 'poor choice of words' when he admitted that EPA's 'general philosophy' is to 'crucify' and 'make examples' of oil and gas companies, but he did not apologize for EPA's actions towards its apparent crucifixion victims.

"Take the word 'crucify' out of Administrator Armendariz's statement and nothing has changed: you still have a rogue agency following through on President Obama's 'general philosophy' to increase the price of gas and electricity - intimidating and levying huge fines on citizens and industry without sufficient justification or affording them due process.

  1. Now the question is: are those USA jets to protect or attack Iran?

  2. Who are those F22 Raptors there to intimidate....Iran, or Israel?

At this point, and this administration.....I'm not absolutely positive anymore.

    The F22 is a fighter, not a bomber....Iran doesn't have a modern Air Force....Israel does.

The F22 is the only Fighter we have with clear superiority to Israel's air force. Every fighter we have is clearly superior to Iran's best.

What is Obama's message here? And to who?

  3. I can't imagine as an American fighter pilot being asked to engage Israel as an enemy. What happens if you refused? Obama would loose all of the Jewish vote if he attempted anything so foolish. I think he remains an in the closet supporter of Iran. If he comes out of the closet it would be after the election. Our jets are probably there to keep the peace and the straights of Hormuz open after an attack on Iran.

  4. Wowsa! How about the joint russia-us airborne assault training and games planned for colorado in may? They are, among other things, practicing to take over the new cia and nsa headquaters in denver and the airport. Do what?
Does anyone but me see a possible conflict of interest there?
Does anyone wonder why they moved the headquarters of these two agencies there in the firstplace?
Lets see, this with the open mike incident between potus and medvedev.
Ruh ro scooby! I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer guys, but really, do you have to be.
Oh yeah, the ruskies are massing equipment on the border of Iran too.
On the good side ;), if he is with us, who can be against us? He will never leave us or forsake us!
I am so glad I learned the 23rd Psalm as a child! I have been meditating on it a lot lately! A whole lot!
Hang in there people! We are really really really close!
    Maranatha!

  5. WV, don't forget the new Autrocity Czar he appointed, Stephenie Powers. She is one of the authors of the RTP and has openly stated that Obama will have to sacrifice a huge wealthy democratic voting block to get peace in the ME by force.

I know who I think that huge wealthy democratic voting block is.

Any other time in history and I would be 100% on board with you. With this guy.....I'm pulling all my chips off the table.

Maybe its time I climbed back into my padded cell.....but something about him......he's on a mission.

  6. Good point Caver. Maybe he won't need that voting block if the church is gone before the election. We can only hope.

I almost hate to bring up another prayer request but it seems like when it rains it pours. My dad fell at home 3 days ago and his stomach went into his chest cavity because of a bad hiatal hernia. That was bad enough but the stomach also twisted. His 89 and needs surgery but he most likely would not survive what would be a very difficult operation. His stomach with the aid of an NG tube is now untwisted but his stomach is still in his chest and could twist again at any time. Long story short he is on borrowed time. I for whatever reason always believed my mom and dad would both be here for the rapture. Now unless the Lord comes soon that won't be the case. My dad is a very godly man and served on our church elder board and missionary treasurer in our church for over 40 years. There has never been a man as meek, wise and faithful as my dad. He has lived a blessed life but it will not make saying goodbye for now any easier. Thank You Jesus for giving me him as my dad!

My mom who has some dementia thinks he will pull out of this and is already asking when he is coming home from the hospital. Please keep her in your prayers as well.

  7. Caver, brother, I am so with you on this one. I really really hope we are both oh so wrong. But I have this extremely unshakeable HEAVY weight that has been bearing down on me accompanied by this I can see whats coming foresight. Ugh!
I usually feel like this prior to a jump of the cliff with your eyes closed and trust God situation. And always there is an unseen lefge or tree sticking out that catches me just a few feet down. Something you couldn't see from your previous position. Builds your faith tho and without it, impossible to please him!
Im also counting on one of God's crazy little twists that always surprises and excites us, and drives the bad guys bonkers! Im needing on of those about now! Something that amazes me, makes me laugh out loud and clearly shows believers who is really in charge!
I really wish I could just be carefree like all the dodos that dont have a clue! But iits not working for me like that. All the earth, all creation is groaning for him. Thats what I feel like. Im aching for him, im aching for the unsaved, the blind, the wretched humanity, the sad condition of organized religon, his church, his bride!
Thank you all for bearing with me as I struggle.
And Dylan, you are wise beyond your years and I love your musings. You are really something special, as everyone here is also!
I really do love each and everyone here so very much! Looking forward to the tree of life picnic!

  8. Ally - many good points - and I know what you mean about being blissfully ignorant....sometimes I envy that...it is (in some ways ) a burden having this knowledge.

WV - so sorry to hear about your father. Just remember, if he does pass, he will immediately be with the Lord in Paradise. ANd it won't be long before the epic reunion. meanwhile, we'll be praying for him and your family

  9. WV, prayers being sent up for your mom and dad. For you, too.

Scott, as always, thank you for this blog! I am amazed daily at all the pieces of the puzzle being perfectly placed... and the evil all around us...

Terrible storms right here in my neck of the woods yesterday... more on the way as I type this. Ally, as you said, the earth is groaning for His return!

    Maranatha!!!!!

  10. wv...praying for you here also! My daddy is 81 and my prayers have been for us to go together as we have no other family here in this country. Been a great fear of mine since I was a very small child. Used to sleep with my hand wrapped around my little sisters nightgown to keep her from being snatched..not that I would have admitted that to her then lol...

Ally, that heavy weight you mentioned..have you noticed that a lot of us are describing the same feeling? It has got to mean something. I think our spirit groans within us just as His Creation is ...

    Scott...God Bless you and yours..

May my brothers and sisters shelter under His Mighty Hand.

    Cary

  11. Scott, Ally, there are times when I wish I didn't have all this knowledge about what's coming; and could more care-free; but then I wont be in total shock when it does hit suddenly. So it's a matter of how you look at it. WV, I lost my dad 6 years ago; and saying good bye wasn't easy; but just knowing that he's in a better place gives me so much comfort. The week of his funeral we had an absolute blast celebrating his homecoming; and haven't shed one tear just knowing that when we see him again it will be forever; and we'll never have to part again.
