A report that Iran is about a year away from having the capability to build a nuclear bomb may be too optimistic, contended John Bolton, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.“I worry the publicly available information is giving only a very small picture and that Iran is actually even much further along,” Bolton said today in a radio interview.Reacting to the one-year timeline, Bolton stated, “I think it can be even less than that.”The interview can be listened to at the Klein Online website.
Continued Bolton: “They’ve got, by publicly available information from the International Atomic Energy Agency, enough low-enriched uranium that if enriched up to weapons grade would be enough for four weapons.”
Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman called upon the international community Monday to go from words to deeds regarding the Iranian nuclear threat.
In an interview on Voice of Israelgovernment-run radio, Liebermansaid that Iran does not only threaten Israel. "Iran is acting to take over Iraq and wants to take over and influence Saudi Arabia, too, and thus dictate the world's energy policy," he warned.
Regarding negotiations with the Palestinian Authority, Lieberman said that it is useless to hope for a diplomatic breakthrough. "The Palestinians are trying to evade direct negotiations and prefer to transfer the matter to international bodies," he said.
The principal Palestinian Authority’s religious leader, the Mufti Muhammad Hussein, speaking last week, presented the killing of Jews by Muslims as a religious Islamic goal.He cited the Hadith (Islamic tradition attributed to Muhammad) saying that “the Hour [of Resurrection] will not come until you fight the Jews. The Jew will hide behind stones or trees. Then the stones or trees will call: ‘Oh Muslim, servant of Allah,
Iran would provide aid to Syria if it came under attack by external forces, an Iranian Revolutionary Guards official told pan-Arab Al Arabiya news channel Monday, US accused the Guards' Quds Force of providing weapons to the embattled regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad in order to suppress protests. The source said that Iran believes that the situation in Syria is different than "other countries that saw similar protests," adding that the Revolutionary Guards "surround" Syria through their allies in Iraq and Lebanon.A senior US official said Saturday that the recent visit of of senior commanders in Iran's Revolutionary Guards Quds Force to Syria is the "strongest indication yet" that Iran is supplying the Assad regime with weapons, according to AFP.We are confident that he was received at the highest levels of the Syrian government, including by President Assad,” the official said on condition of anonymity. “The US government believes Iran has supplied Syria with munitions” for use in the military crackdown.
The United States has long suspected Iran of supplying Damascus with weapons as Assad struggles to cope with mass protests against his rule.
When Congress adopted and Barack Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012, alarms were raised over the possibility that it would allow the indefinite and rights-free detention of those who are called “belligerents,” even if they are American citizens. While the argument over those provisions rages, one state lawmaker in Rhode Island has jumped into action to protect the danger he sees for residents of his state, proposing a resolution to exempt his constituents from sections of the federal law.Rep. Daniel P. Gordon Jr. today told WND he has drafted a resolution, which is being circulated among the lawmakers even now, to express opposition to the sections of the NDAA “that suspend habeas corpus and civil liberties.”
“Sections 1021 and 1022 of the act, signed into law on New Years Eve of 2011, provide for the indefinite detention of American citizens by the military on American soil, without charge, and without right to legal counsel and right to trial,” he explained.Commentator Chuck Baldwin, who himself has been the target of smears by the Department of Homeland Security-related apparatus, explained the law, “for all intents and purposes, completely nullifies a good portion of the Bill of Rights, turns the United States into a war zone, and places U.S. citizens under military rule.”
Obama Warned Israel Against Iran Strike
The US administration has spent the last few days working frantically to prevent an Israeli strike on Iran and reinforcing presence in the region in preparation for Iranian counter attacks, Yedioth Ahronoth reported Sunday.
Israeli state officials suggested Saturday that the sanctionsagainst Tehran were not sufficient, which works to enhance US concern over an Israeli strike.
US defense officials claim that the Israeli response has been noncommittal. Some American intelligence officials complain that Israel represents a blind spot in US intelligence, which devotes little resources to Israel, the WSJ said.
This ambiguity has led the US administration to believe that Netanyahu has plans to attack and the US is therefore preparing for the outcomes of such a strike.
Just amazing....
ReplyDeleteIran is now 6 mo to a year away
6 mo ago they were 6 mo to a year away from the bomb
12 mo ago, same thing
2 yr ago, same thing
Just goes to show the power of mis/disinformation.
How many times do you listen to someone cry Wolf until it sounds like a car burglar alarm....auto false alarm.
Yet, this time the world is acting like its real....folk are reacting to Iran.
Ya just gotta wonder, how much light and how much mushroom are we getting fed.
IMHO, everything....and I do mean everything...that gets to us for public consumption is measured, distilled, cooked, toasted, broasted, boiled, baked, and analyzed for impact to elicit the desired reaction.
Come Lord Jesus. Your bride is waiting and ever so ready.
Caver . . .i was about to say the same thing. Last May, it was widely reported and linked here . . .that Iran is TWO months away. Couple of months ago . . . media reported that they would have nuke capabilities by March . . .what on EARTH is going on anyway???
ReplyDeleteI would be good with it if those former reports were mentioned and it was pointed out that dates had to be revised, but they DON'T. It's as though it's Ground Hog's Day every day and I'm living in the Twilight Zone.
Indeed . . .come Lord Jesus
Ground Hog Day indeed Robin...That movie was kinda of funny but mainly annoying.
ReplyDeleteSo much disinformation it is hard to gauge what to believe and what not to believe. Of course that is satan's MO. He is the master liar and author of confusion.
I also remember reading we would see war in the ME between the middle of December and no later than the middle of January. I guess it is time to revised that prediction as well.
Caver may well be right about TPTB pushing this whole thing back until the time of the election. I just don't want to give them that much credit or wait that long. It may also have to do with Obama not wanting to see $7.00 a gallon gasoline before the election too.
It is hard to remain patient while watching so much taking place in the prophetic realm.
I'm still hlding firm on my "as in the days of Noah" understanding as it relates to Jesus coming back during a time of business as usual. How much longer until the bottom drops out of the world economy and Biblical war in the ME starts?
Fortunately for the lost God is more patient than me.

ReplyDeleteIsiah 53:4-6
v4 Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
v5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; THE CHASTISEMENT FOR OUR PEACE WAS UPON HIM, AND BY HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED.
v6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, everyone to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Matt 11:28-30
v28 "Come to me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
v29 "Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
v30 "For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
During my quiet time this morning the Lord laid on my heart the importance of the application of these scriptures in the life of the individual.
"SO MANY PEOPLE ARE RUNNING AROUND WITH A HEAVY BURDEN OF GUILT ON THEIR LIVES AND THEY ARE PUNISHING THEMSELVES TO TRY AND FIND RELEASE."
Dear reader God wants you to know that there is no need to "whip yourself" any more.
Look at those above verses in Isiah and remember that JESUS CHRIST is the one these verses are talking about, He is the one who has taken the beating so you don't have to, too yourself.
In ourselves we will never find that peace that only God can give. But in Jesus Christ we have the all time "life coach" who is ready and waiting on the side lines to "put his yoke upon you" and fill you with his peace.
NEXT TIME YOU FEEL THE URGE TO WHIP AND GROVEL YOUR WAY TO GOD, DON'T. INSTEAD REMEMBER JESUS AND CONFESS YOUR GUILT TO GOD ALL THE WHILE REMEMBERING THAT JESUS HAS BEEN WHIPPED FOR YOU.
BELIEVE AND YOU WILL BE SAVED AND SET FREE FROM YOUR GUILT.
