In the news:

Remember, we have been told repeatedly by the MSM that the Muslim Brotherhood is a moderate group:

Muslim Brotherhood Holds 'Kill the Jews' Rally on election Eve

Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, which expects to win at least a plurality in Monday’s legislative elections, held a “kill the Jews” rally in Cairo Friday.

Thousands of supporters attended the pre-election rally at a mosque on the Muslim Sabbath, promising to “one day kill all the Jews” and wage war against Jerusalem’s “Judaization.”

Smelling victory, the Brotherhood is suddenly promoting itself as a party that favors non-violence rights for women, but it boasts its hatred of Jews and Israel.

Although the Muslim Brotherhood party is widely hated by liberals, its image of a defender of Egyptians is likely to catapult it into the dominant political force in Egypt this week.

"The Muslim Brothers really screwed this revolution. They've done everything possible to monopolize and hijack the revolution," said Democratic Front Party member Wael Nawara, quoted by the Pittsburgh Tribune.

"The Muslim Brotherhood (is) very opportunistic. They don't care about the Egyptian blood. ... They only care about taking power," said Azza Kamal, a political activist.

Egypt's Pre-Election Terror: 8th Attack on Gas to Israel

Masked terrorists attacked the Sinai-Israeli gas pipeline on Friday shortly after Egyptian intelligence officials warned of pre-election terror.

Egyptian sources said there are approximately 2,500 terrorists in the Sinai Peninsula, which has become more lawless since the ouster of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak earlier this year.

A large-scale terrorist attacks or counterterrorist operation could seriously affect Monday’s elections to the parliament, where the radical Muslim Brotherhood expects to win large support and possibly a plurality.

Israel ready for war with Hezbollah as if it will happen in a week: Israeli official

Israel is elevating its state of readiness on its northern front in light of reports that events in Syria will have major repercussions on the Jewish State, Thursday’s Al-Hayat reported.

Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, in recent televised speech, warned that any attack against allies Syria or Iran would engulf the entire region, hinting at the possibility of opening Lebanon’s southern front against the Jewish state.

“Hezbollah has become a dangerous organization and should not be ignored and we [should not] overlook the truth that it is strengthening its missile arsenal,” the Israeli minister said, adding that the party was developing a military system with modern missiles and enhancing its military capabilities.

The most ominous news today actually comes from within the U.S.:

Congress to Vote Next Week on EXPLICITLY creating a Police State

The ACLU’s Washington legislative office explains:

The Senate is gearing up for a vote on Monday or Tuesday that goes to the very heart of who we are as Americans. The Senate will be voting on a bill that will direct American military resources not at an enemy shooting at our military in a war zone, but at American citizens and other civilians far from any battlefield — even people in the United States itself.

The Senate is going to vote on whether Congress will give this president—and every future president — the power to order the military to pick up and imprison without charge or trial civilians anywhere in the world.

The power is so broad that even U.S. citizens could be swept up by the military and the military could be used far from any battlefield, even within the United States itself. The worldwide indefinite detention without charge or trial provision is in S. 1867, the National Defense Authorization Act bill, which will be on the Senate floor on Monday.

In support of this harmful bill, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) explained that the bill will “basically say in law for the first time that the homeland is part of the battlefield” and people can be imprisoned without charge or trial “American citizen or not.” Another supporter, Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) also declared that the bill is needed because “America is part of the battlefield.”

This latest move actually represents part of an ongoing effort:

While this is shocking, it is not occurring in a vacuum. Indeed, it is part of a 30 year-long process of militarization inside our borders and a destruction of the American concepts of limited government and separation of powers.

As I pointed out in May:

The ACLU noted yesterday [that] Congress is proposing handing permanent, world-wide war-making powers to the president – including the ability to make war within the United States:

As I noted in 2008:

An article in the Army Times reveals that the 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team will be redeployed from Iraq to domestic operations within the United States.

The unit will soon be under the day-to-day control of US Army North, the Army service component of Northern Command.

The soldiers are learning to use so-called “nonlethal weapons” designed to subdue unruly or dangerous individuals and crowds.

This violates posse comitatus and the Constitution. But, hey, we’re in a “national emergency”, so who cares, right?

(We’re still in a declared state of national emergency).

I noted a couple of months later:

Everyone knows that deploying 20,000 troops on U.S. soil violates Posse Comitatus and the Constitution.

And everyone understands that staging troops within the U.S. to “help out with civil unrest and crowd control” increases the danger of overt martial law.

But no one is asking an obvious question: Does the government’s own excuse for deploying the troops make any sense?

Read the rest of the article - it is quite sobering and disturbing. More below:

Senate Moves To Allow Military To Intern Americans Without Trial

The Senate is set to vote on a bill next week that would define the whole of the United States as a “battlefield” and allow the U.S. Military to arrest American citizens in their own back yard without charge or trial.

Under the ‘worldwide indefinite detention without charge or trial’ provision of S.1867, the National Defense Authorization Act bill, which is set to be up for a vote on the Senate floor Monday, the legislation will “basically say in law for the first time that the homeland is part of the battlefield,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who supports the bill.

The bill was drafted in secret by Senators Carl Levin (D-Mich.) and John McCain (R-Ariz.), before being passed in a closed-door committee meeting without any kind of hearing. The language appears in sections 1031 and 1032 of the NDAA bill.

“I would also point out that these provisions raise serious questions as to who we are as a society and what our Constitution seeks to protect,” Colorado Senator Mark Udall said in a speech last week.

One section of these provisions, section 1031, would be interpreted as allowing the military to capture and indefinitely detain American citizens on U.S. soil.

Section 1031 essentially repeals the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 by authorizing the U.S. military to perform law enforcement functions on American soil. That alone should alarm my colleagues on both sides of the aisle, but there are other problems with these provisions that must be resolved.”

This means Americans could be declared domestic terrorists and thrown in a military brig with no recourse whatsoever.

Given that the Department of Homeland Security has characterized behavior such as buying gold, owning guns, using a watch or binoculars, donating to charity, using the telephone or email to find information, using cash, and all manner of mundane behaviors as potential indicators of domestic terrorism, such a provision would be wide open to abuse.

We have been warning for over a decade that Americans would become the target of laws supposedly aimed at terrorists and enemy combatants. Alex Jones personally documented how U.S. troops were being trained to arrest U.S. citizens in the event of martial law during urban warfare training drills back in the 90′s.

Under the the National Defense Authorization Act bill, no declaration of martial law is necessary since Americans would now be subject to the same treatment as suspected insurgents in places like Afghanistan and Iraq.

Similarly, we continue to see similar draconian maneuvers by leadership in the EU:

"Bold" Step on Fiscal Union to Stem Turmoil

European Central Bank Executive Board member Jose Manuel Gonzalez-Paramo urged euro-area politicians to take bold steps toward fiscal union to end the debt crisis

And what would such "bold steps" involve?

“It is now a time for politicians to be bold and courageous” and “complete as soon as possible the great project begun 60 years ago towards ever closer union,” he said.

‘Transfer of Sovereignty’

Gonzalez-Paramo said there is a need for “more economic and financial integration for the euro area, with a significant transfer of sovereignty to the EMU level over fiscal, structural and financial policies.”

Germany and France said yesterday they will make proposals to amend European treaties in coming days to impose greater fiscal discipline on euro-area countries as they struggle to win back investor confidence. French President Nicolas Sarkozy also agreed to stop pressuring the ECB to do more after resistance from German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Indeed. With the Tribulation approaching, there will be no such thing as "national sovereignty" - which will become a relic of the past. We are currently witnessing a progressive loss in national sovereignty throughout the EU - after all, this is a time of "crisis" and during such times, "anything goes" because something must be done, right?

"Big Crisis" dictates "Big Change", right?

Just as we see the U.S. use national security issues as an excuse to destroy individual rights and individual sovereignty and freedom - in Europe we see the financial "crisis" function to serve the same movement - away from national sovereignty.

Exactly as we would expect with the Tribulation looming.

  1. hhmmm . . . regarding the Prison Planet story about the National Defense Authorization Act bill coming up in the Senate . . .here's a link to the actual text of the bill:

    http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c112:S.1867:

Either the wording that would repeal the Posse Comitatus Act has been removed or folded into another section because there's not a "Section 1031" as cited in the story.

Do a page search of 1031 (the section of the bill that's apparently most egregious).

1031 is cited . . .but the text not presented.

  4. Interesting Robin, very interesting that the offending words seem to have somehow gone away. I couldn't follow your link because it timed out but I'm familiar with the bill.

On another front....the economic one. Still been following the Lindsey Williams "inside" scoop on the economic collapse engineered to usher in the "big change" "fix it" boys. Sure looks to be on target, at the earlier end of the predicted time frame.

Before going much further, I remember what he said about gold and silver too, that TPTB would drive down the prices for a while before the bottom fell out of the economic situtation so everybody would sell cheap and they would grab it all up before letting the prices blow through the roof. The prices have gone against economic news for over a month now and are at very low points considering the world economic situation. 'Nuff said.

  5. Ecumenism means joining with Rome.

    Justification by works.

Article 135 of the Catholic Catechism says, ‘Faith alone will not save us without good works.’

The Bible teaches we are saved by faith in the work of Jesus Christ dying as a sacrifice for our sins. Good works are the result of our faith, but they do not save us: ‘For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.’ Ephesians 2.8-10.

    Baptismal regeneration.

Article 256 of the Catechism says, ‘Baptism is a Sacrament which cleanses us from original sin, makes us Christians, children of God and members of the Church’ (i.e. a baby becomes a Christian through being baptised).

Article 259 says this sacrament is given by pouring water on the head of a child. (NB the Greek word ‘baptizo’ means to immerse in water not to sprinkle with water). Pouring water on the head of a baby or of an adult has no power whatsoever to cleanse us from original sin.

The Bible teaches that we must be ‘born again’ (John 3.5-8) through faith in what Jesus Christ has done for us, after which we are baptised. On the Day of Pentecost Peter explained the meaning of Jesus’ death and resurrection to the Jews who responded by asking him, ‘What shall we do?’ Then Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit’ (Acts 2.38).

To repent is to have a ‘change of mind’; A baby cannot possibly make such a decision.

  6. I'm most definitely getting that feeling, Caver. My family was sitting around the Thanksgiving table this year discussing all the things that have changed since we last gathered this time last year. Several of my hard money family members concur that gold and silver will take a temporary dive before shooting through the roof.

This is already being called the "Lost Decade" as a way to take some of the heat off global leftwing leaders. But it really is shaping up to be just what's needed by an extremist leftwing nut to come in and dazzle the world with his quick witted economic prowess. . .AKA, the Antichrist.

Aside from the economy and military round up of "suspected Americans" fitting into the scheme, did anyone catch this story?

    http://rt.com/news/bird-flu-killer-strain-119/

Evidently, scientists are in a quandry as to whether or not it's to release the recipe to a flu virus that has the potential of wiping out half the world's population. As difficult as it is to believe . . .there are actually extremist groups in the scientific community who sincerely believe the earth can't sustain the growing world population . . .and that it must be culled. You can bet, however . . .those doing the culling will ensure the like minded left are vaccinated first.

I'm reminded of PESTILENCE in the last days . . .but it's also a possible way to explain where all the Christians went. Maybe the excuse of . . .those crazy rightwingers thought the vaccine was the "mark of the best" so didn't get vaccinated. . .now they're gone . . .

  7. I was talking with an army reserve officer and he said that if and when martial law is declared, it will most likely be 1) in a major metropolitan city and 2) due to a contagion. It was suggested that one be prepared for being confined in the home for up to 30 days.

I remember Lindsey Williams stated in an interview that there will be a war with Iran in '12, the US will be allowed to drill for domestic oil because the Arabs will no longer hold the bonds that Henry Kissinger sold to them in the 70's. (Kissinger had pledged to the Arabs that the US would not drill for oil until 2012.) Okie dokie, lots of stuff coming down the pike and bottle necking for the new year.

  8. Gearedup, Phyllis Schaffly wrote a book years ago called Kissinger On the Couch . . .and Gary Allen also wrote a book about Kissinger, can't recall the name. I read both in college . . .they outlined on detail just how Kissinger's plan would work. There's also a video posted of Lindsey Williams on Alex Jones show on youtube (though honestly, Prison Planet strikes me as antisemitic).

  9. Robin, I agree about PP being anti-semitic. I do approach new sources with an open mind but use discretion in determining the legitimacy of the source and the information. PP breaks alternative news before other sources and makes for an interesting read. And regarding the folly of the world's elite and their silver and gold, it sure brings to mind these verses:

    Ezekiel 7:19:
'They will throw their silver into the streets,
    And their gold will be like refuse;
Their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them
    In the day of the wrath of the LORD;
They will not satisfy their souls,
    Nor fill their stomachs,
Because it became their stumbling block of iniquity.

    And James 5:1-6:
1 Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! 2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. 3 Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days. 4 Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. 5 You have lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury; you have fattened your hearts as in a day of slaughter. 6 You have condemned, you have murdered the just; he does not resist you.

  10. There is way too much going on for my ADHD mind to comprehend. It is literally making my head spin. Does anyone else feel that with red line that Russia has drawn in Syria and how the west and some Arab nations want a regime change, could Ezekiel 38-39 unfold rather quickly? If that is the case then we could be gone in weeks!! Exciting times we are living in.

    ReplyDelete
  11. With the US moving into Syria at breakneck speed and the State Dept. ordering all Americans out immediately, I'm beginning to think Iran was a diversionary tactic to move in on Syria. If so, that would seem to suggest Isaiah 17 first, Ezekiel 38-39 next . . .just as we've though for some time.

The war in Iran will be billed as the war to end all wars and will end with the signing of a peace treaty between the AC and Israel . . .so it would stand to reason Israel's immediate neighbor to the North, Syria, will be done away with prior to that semblance of peace.

Gearedup, while neither silver nor gold will buy salvation, it will tide over many Tribulation saints. For without precious metals, only the mark of the beast will enable consumers to buy a loaf of bread.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Robin, it remains to be seen just how the trib saints will thrive. I'd say a pretty good bartering system will be in place with people combining their special skills (gardening, pottery making, hunting, fishing, etc.) to work together collectively to ensure their survival. And God will provide for them in only the way that He can.

On a more cheerful note, I came across this video of dogs welcoming home their masters from the war. It's very heart warming. : )

  21. Hi Doc~

Sorry, I didn't mean to leave you in dire straits :) I didn't realize it was that important to you, I could have gotten much more specific. I was on my ipad so you can imagine the lovely scrolling with the hand on that thing. Once I found that area and saw it was the same topic relating to what Sue was talking about, I figured it would be easily found - [ha ha.] If I was an expert on linkage...boy that could have saved you some time too! I figure with old posts like that if it's that important to the poster they may bring it up again in the newest section. Sometimes we seem to get these odd posts coming back in so I never know if it's truly someone searching for a sincere answer or impostering outside of the alias thing to stir dissention once again, or if they truly did stumble across the blog by reference or topic search.

I tend to notice those different aspects quite easily from posters. I have a great attention to the details. I used to do fraud detection in the banking arena and putting that evidence together and catching someone was very rewarding to see justice served. :) See now you have a new tidbit to add to my saved file by Doc.

James - Thank you for giving us some ideas to begin with, that will be helpful. I always love to take advantage when two or more are gathered in his name. The powerfulness of the annointing of the HS being poured over everyone at once is simply amazing.

    God Bless!!

Hello everyone. I came across a very excellent and interesting article today that explains all the different end time views and how we got there, called: Is Your Eschatology Showing? By T. A. McMahon The article can be found here: http://www.thebereancall.org/node/9424

The main reason I come here now is another thing I came across as I was searching a bit on the net. I came upon a disturbing piece dated back to May of 2008 from The U.S. Army Major Brian L. Stuckert. Has anyone else heard of what he has written at the School of Advanced Military Studies concerning:
Abstract STRATEGIC IMPLICATIONS OF AMERICAN MILLENNIALISM 61 pages

    link: http://www.rap-con.com/signs/army-report-says-christians-threaten-us-foreign-policy#comment-7872

I am not familiar with this but possibly a faint recollection of someone mentioning this. At the time, I didn't think much about it. But to show how disturbing this is I found on pages 57-61 the Conclusions and Recommendations that I would encourage you to read it. Its like much of the military leaders are familiar with this view and how much influence there is upon the world stage.

Even more troubling is found on page 59.... "Pessimism and paranoia are two possible results of pre-millenial influence." Further down... "We should consider whether a contemplated decision of policy is either overly optimistic or pessimistic." ...and this... "A pre-millennial reading of Bible prophecy paints a dismal picture of a world disintegrating toward a cataclysmic end where we are forced to confront the wrath and judgment of God. Assumptions and plans based on this worldview will be less than ideal." cont....

    ReplyDelete
  25. Cont....Basically what I am trying to say is pre-millennialism thought from the perspective of our adversaries has been studied and how it possibly hinders our Government and military's success. Policy can be imposed and implemented and will be used against those who hold this view if they feel we know too much concerning bible prophecy, the end of things and the coming thousand year reign of Christ. Wow, so disturbing stuff. Any thoughts you guys?

  26. Yikes, JEC, guess that kinds of targets them into our little group...doesn't it.

Yea, you're absolutely right. Read this and evaluations on it some years ago and its surprising just how far they have gone in preparing for us. Suspect, at this point, we are all "marked". Of course, the Lord can and will dictate the course of events and if we're willing, He will use us for His purpose.

I normally don't mention this and a few like type little cravats....if just freaks too many folk out. But it is true and should be known.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I heard that the majority of service men and women are Christian. Another twist to the plot that Jec pointed out.

Dylan, I'm glad you and your family are ok. That was a little too close for comfort, eh? By the way, I've been meaning to ask if you have any friends who are interested in bible prophecy.

  32. Hi Doc~

I hope your wife is doing a little better today. We need her home with you for the holidays and well. :)

As much as I would like to help you... there are certain 'Anon's' playing games, OR maybe even one in the same person(s) exhibiting their lovely Christ like behavior dabbling around in deceptive games. [This is not toward those sincere Anon's who just don't want their identity known like our newest member with her family coming by.] I know how that is for me too, with my family. They may not post if they see names. We want to encourage them to come and learn and share openly:)

I have seen these for quite a while now and just smile because they think they are being cute as my Mom used to say. Soon enough the truth is going to come out and OOOHHH...Especially in front of the Lord. So what is done in secrecy will come to light. For that reason, no need to back track, I just keep noting and observing on this end as they play their little games. :) I have my eyes on them. FWIW..they have made so many slip-ups in the past posts that trying to cover them in a different style now, just quite isn't going to fool this ol' gal. The truth always has a way of coming out, I just love how the Lord handles things. In his time an in his own ways :)

Many prayers for you and your wife today!

    God Bless!!

  33. Hi GG,
On the list above, I didn't notice anything wrong-headed in the differing POVs, just thot it made no sense to post that far back in the past where no one would see it and respond, that is until Scott added the "Recent Comments" feature...

I'm not familiar with the workings of I-pods so I didn't know if you were saying [previously] that you could scroll back to his post or if you just meant that you had noted the month/yr.

Other than that, just because yer paranoid, doesn't mean "someone" isn't keeping tabs on you too...

  34. Hi Doc-

I have to give you a big Huh??? I think you and I my friend are speaking of two separate things. I have no need to be paranoid. One can clearly see what is there. As for you.... :). You have mentioned you like to save files so that is what the other post was referring too as a joke. I am not the one who is always tracking the anons until I made mention now to the ones stirring trouble. That is a fact anyone can see. I didn't take a shot at you...dear friend, play nice :)

  35. Hey GG,
No shot at you, and none taken.
I just like the expression -"just because yer paranoid, doesn't mean "someone" isn't keeping tabs on you too..." cause peeps I know [Christians who prefer to remain clueless] like pulling that on me for yrs every time I mention prophecy/conspiracy connections.

[...assumed you were familiar with that one...]
    :)

  37. Hello DrNofog

I am so glad to see you are managing to keep your pecker up. Putting on a smile is good medicine when things around us are troubled. :D Good on ya!

Hoping and praying your wife is fit, well and back home with you VERY soon.
Love and blessings to you both and your dear family.

((((Big hug coming from across the pond))))
