Rumors of War: Israel Prepares for "Multi-Front" War

Not only are we watching the alarming arms build-up in the region - a build-up which has rapidly escalated since Egypt's takeover by the Muslim Brotherhood - but we can see Israel's response in preparation for the coming wars:

Home Front Command warns of looming multi-front war

Noting an increase in the chance for a multi-front war, OC Home Front Command Maj.-Gen. Eyal Eisenberg revealed on Monday that Palestinian terror groups used a new and advanced rocket in their attacks against Israel during the recent round of fighting in the Gaza Strip.

“After the ‘Arab Spring’, we assess that a winter of radical Islam will arrive and as a result the possibility for a multi-front war has increased including the potential use of weapons of mass destruction,” Eisenberg said during a conference on the Home Front at the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv.

Eisenberg revealed that during the recent round of fighting between Israel and Palestinian terror groups in the Gaza Strip, a new weapon was fired into Israel. “We discovered a new weapon and as a result we instructed the public to take extra precautions and to seek cover under two roofs and not just one,” Eisenberg said.

Once again, Turkey is in the news with yet more inflammatory rhetoric:

Israel: Turkey Wants Confrontation

In addition to expelling Israel's senior diplomats, Ankara plans file suit against the Israeli soldiers and officials involved in the May 2010 Mavi Marmara flotilla incident, suspend military agreements between the two countries, support the families of victims, and "take measures to ensure freedom of navigation in the eastern Mediterranean."

Also, Turkey said it will raise the issue of the Gaza blockade with the International Criminal Court at The Hague.

"The Turks are trying to forcefully lead us into an open confrontation and street fights in the international arena, but we shall not give them this pleasure," a diplomatic source said. Dozens of Israeli passengers on board a Turkish Airlines flight from Tel Aviv to Istanbul were held for 90 minutes by local police after their passports were taken away from them.

  1. It is absolutely amazing to Witness Gods Word be fulfilled right before us! Multiple fronted war...Isaiah 17 to come...

Brothers Dr No, Scott, there’s that weapons threat...the one that could very well light the fuse to all this...start the dominos falling...

    Brother Jake, :)
My most deep apologies, but we will indeed study Isaiah 19 together. :) I just only have time right now to pop in, and pop out, and studying His Word is a cherished process, that requires all of our attention!
    God Bless You! :)

  3. While Isaiah 17 is definitely shaping up . . .a multifaceted front strongly suggests Psalm 83 may be quickly on it's heels. Maybe as a result of Damascus' demise, the Psalm 83 cast of characters jump in the fray?

  4. Hi Sister Robin, :)
Forgive me, but I have to respectfully disagree! Psalm 83 is a Prayer, not a war. There has been alot of perpetuation of this "idea" about Psalm 83, in others, one in particular, in attempts to promote their "ideas", or books for that matter. When we look to Gods Word, our only True source, God does not say that Psalm 83 is a war. If there were a war, He would say it, and He doesnt. There is plenty of planning and scheming by the enemies of Israel, but no action, no war. These folks attempt to manipulate it.
Isaiah 17 is Gods fulfillment of that Prayer. What really convicts me, is those “ideas” out there, that try to build on Psalm 83 being a war, is that they use Psalm 83 supposedly being a war, as a base, then take off into something completely in error regarding Israel in Scripture. Why does it matter? Apples and oranges some may say. But it does matter a great deal. We have an enemy, that knows full well how to deceive, and usually starts the deception with a little bit of truth. If these “ideas” are used as a Witness, and they are not True, then it may cause a Brother or Sister to be discouraged, but even worse, they may Witness to someone who is an unbeliever. When it doesn’t happen the way these folks are saying, that unbeliever will possibly really then not Believe, and turn from their opportunity to be Saved. We are so very close now, to many events that will happen. We are watching in amazement! And don’t you know the enemy out there knows his time is short. We really, really, need to know His Word well. Seek Him, seek His Wisdom, Pray for discernment from His Holy Spirit in these Last Days.

    God Bless You Sis :)

    The Prayer
    Psalm 83:13
    13. O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
    The Prayer Answered
    Isaiah 17:13
    13. The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.

Thinking of you; praying this nightmare will soon come to a satisfactory finale.

Its a sad fact that even Jesus could not trust Himself to believers.

John2:23Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.
24.But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,
25.And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

Faulty 'agenda's, and the old sin nature in believers are fearful adversaries. It is said that if you want a job doing well, don't ask a Christian; ask a J.W. or a Mormon i.e. those who are trying to earn salvation! Use 'Christian' Yellow Pages at your peril. Sad and cynical but also true.

Keep praising The Lord - time is short and we could go at any second.
    God bless you much!
