In the news:

Today we have several interesting prophetically related news stories:

1. Europe:

They Want A "United States Of Europe" But They Are Going To Need A Massive Financial Crisis To Get It

Are we about to see a huge push for a "United States of Europe"? As the sovereign debt crisis in Europe continues to spiral out of control, suddenly this term is popping up in the New York Times and in major newspapers all over Europe.

The truth is that there is an overwhelming consensus among the political and financial elite of Europe that a "United States of Europe" is what would be best for the eurozone.

However, they are likely going to need a massive financial crisis in order to reach their goal.

Remember the mantra: "Big Crisis = Big Change"? Well, we're just on the verge of seeing this scenario play out.

Right now, the citizens of the countries that make up the eurozone are overwhelmingly against deeper European integration. Without experiencing a massive amount of financial pain, they are unlikely to change their minds any time soon.

If Europe does not decide on a course of action soon, the euro is going to collapse and financial institutions all over Europe are going to come crashing down.

But instead of admitting that the euro was a massive mistake and returning to national currencies, most of the top politicians in Europe believe that "more Europe" is the answer.

Mario Draghi, the incoming head of the European Central Bank, is totally convinced that Europe needs to integrate much more deeply....

“To cope with this, we must have a treaty change. The aim of this effort should be a quantum leap up in European economic and political integration.”

This doesn't come as a surprise to prophecy watchers.

Of course one of the biggest proponents of a "United States of Europe" has been Herman van Rompuy. In a recent article, the Telegraph made the following eye-catching statement....

Herman van Rompuy is ready to run for a second term as EU president, at the head of a “United States of Europe”

Mr Van Rompuy has announced he is willing to take on the “unfinished” euro zone debt crisis with new powers setting an “economic government” in Brussels
.

In closing we see this ominous tone:

Right now, the EU is a terribly undemocratic institution. Individual voters have next to no power over the control freaks that run things in Brussels. Every single day, the EU becomes a little bit more like the former USSR.

The last thing that the people of Europe need to do is to give the EU more power.

But that is exactly what the elite of Europe want.

They want a "United States of Europe".

And they may just be willing to allow a massive financial crisis to happen in order to get it.

Exactly as predicted.

George Osborne warns of new EU fiscal union treaty

Germany, France, Italy and EU officials demanded a replacement for the controversial Lisbon Treaty at a G7 meeting in Marseille this weekend.

Brussels sources have told The Daily Telegraph, that a proposal for formal negotiations to begin in December will be made at an EU summit next month. The talks will be chaired by Herman Van Rompuy, the EU president, and will involve a constitutional "convention" before the new treaty is agreed and ratified in all 27 EU countries.

So now we can see that the upcoming "EU Summit" next month could be pivotal. This will be worth watching closely.

2. The Middle East:

'Palestinian UN statehood bid popular in Europe'

The majority of Europeans in the UK, France and Germany believe that their government should vote in favor of recognizing a Palestinian state at the UN later this month, British newspaper the Guardian reported Monday according to an opinion poll.

Europeans in the three nations also overwhelmingly support the right of the Palestinians to their own independent state: 71% in the UK, 82% in France and 86% in Germany, the Guardian reported.

Bill to move embassy to Jerusalem gains force

A bill circulating in the US House of Representatives that would strip the president of his power to waive a law requiring him to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem is gaining traction and bipartisan support amid a groundswell of Christian support for the measure.

The proposal, which comes as the Palestinians prepare to unilaterally seek recognition of an independent state at the United Nations next week, serves to highlight the fruition of faith-based diplomacy at a time of increasing Israeli isolation in the diplomatic arena.

Mass protests likely following Palestinian UN bid

Israel Police Chief Insp.-Gen. said Monday that events surrounding the September 20 Palestinian statehood recognition bid at the UN could be "explosive," and said that the police had to be prepared for mass protests that might break out as a result.

Speaking at the 11th Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya at the World Summit on Counter-Terrorism, the police chief said that recent cross-border terror attacks in southern Israel that resulted in the deaths of eight Israelis were a kind of preparation for the potential events facing police later this month.

Egypt-Turkey Tailspin

While Egypt and Israel acted to cool the crisis in relations sparked by last Friday's mob attack on the Israeli embassy, Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan threatened another inflammatory speech against Israel during his Monday visit, Sept. 12 - this one from Tahrir Square in a bid to buy the popularity of the Arab street.

Jerusalem and Washington are concerned that it will have the effect of stirring up anti-Israel riots in Egypt and Jordan, Israel' second peace partner, as well as encouraging the Palestinian terrorist Jihad Islami lurking in Sinai to proceed with its threatened cross-border attack.

Political sources in Washington and Jerusalem are profoundly concerned by four fraught developments
unfolding this week - all capable of sending Israel's ties with Egypt and Turkey into another perilous tailspin:

This article is worth reading. To briefly highlight these four developments we see:

1. The Turkish prime minister's Tahrir Square speech Monday afternoon. His anti-Israel campaign has drawn from the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood an enthusiastic welcome and the promise of a mass turnout.

2. The Turkish prime minister said Sunday that his campaign against Israel has five stages of which only two have been implemented. Word has reached Jerusalem that Erdogan is preparing more sanctions against Israel to be enforced in days.

3. Israel's government and military leaders worry that the Palestinian Jihad Islami terrorists lurking in Sinai for the past three weeks will choose this moment to strike.

4. The Muslim Brothers, Hamas and other radical Palestinian organizations in Jordan have used Facebook to rally "a million-strong march" on the Israeli embassy in the Jordanian capital of Amman for Thursday evening, Sept. 15, to push for the expulsion of Israeli Ambassador Danny Nevo.

3. Iran:

Iran and the EMP Threat

The immediate effects from an EMP weapon as used against the U.S. (or any region for that matter):

The first thing they will notice is there is no power. Another damn power outage, they will grumble — but then again, there has been no storm. Confused, some will try to call for information, but the phones will be down. The TV, the radio — nothing, no reception.

The panic will come when cars won’t start.

The traffic lights will be out, too. It will get much worse. Most will not survive to see life get back to normal in America.

Thousands will be stranded on subways, and over a million passengers who fly daily across the continent will be stuck at airports with flights canceled. Those already in the air will meet a deadly fate as planes plunge from the sky, their electronics fried.

Within the next few days, water supplies will run out: water-pumping stations will grind to a halt and electric pumps for water purification will also stop. Remaining water supplies will soon become contaminated.

Next is the food supply. Without power, food plants can no longer operate, and without transportation, food inventories in warehouses rot. Many cities will run out of food in just three days, others in just a bit longer.

This will be the result of an electromagnetic pulse attack over the atmosphere of the United States. In less than a billionth of a second, the electrical intensity on Earth becomes so hot that microchips fry, power lines overload, and the electrical grid collapses. Everything with microelectronics in it fails.

This seems more likely than any other big terror threat such as nuclear weapons or dirty bombs because the technology exists and it would be relatively easy to launch such a missile from international waters. The surprise is the fact that it hasn't already happened:

The Islamic leaders of Iran see it as their duty to create the environment called for in a centuries-old hadith for the reappearance of the last Islamic messiah for the glorification of Allah:

The radicals ruling Iran have openly talked about it as they have called for the destruction of America and a new world order that excludes America.

...the Revolutionary Guards of Iran have successfully test-launched a ballistic missile from a ship in the Caspian Sea. Recently, they also announced that all their vessels now have been armed with long-range ballistic missiles, and that soon they will start a mission in the Atlantic Ocean that extends into the Gulf of Mexico.

Mount Cleveland Volcano Continues Building Massive Dome

CHUGINADAK ISLAND, ALASKA-Mount Cleveland, a strato-volcano perched on Chuginadak island, has had its Volcano Alert status raised back up to "Watch" and its Aviation code re-raised to "Orange."

...the 6.8 earthquake and its numerous after-shocks felt on and after September 2nd, may very well have been responsible for the current activity at Mount Cleveland.

There was another after-shock from the September 2nd quake again early this morning at 2:36 am measuring 4.4 magnitude.

Earthquake awakes West Texans

A short-lived earthquake awoke some West Texans on Sunday morning to the unusual sound of shutters rattling and items jostling on nightstands.
The 4.4-magnitude quake hit 11 miles north-northeast of Snyder at 7:27 a.m., and lasted only a few seconds, according to firsthand witnesses. Officials had not been notified of any damage or injuries as of Sunday afternoon.

9/11 Was Just One Of God's Alarms

Evangelical leaders reached out to millions on the eve of the 10th anniversary of 9/11 with gripping narratives and heart-touching teaching during the nationwide broadcast “A Wake-Up Call for God’s People.”

The daughter of American evangelist Dr. Billy Graham, Anne Graham Lotz, and New York Times best-selling author, Joel Rosenberg, spoke with passion as they urged Christians to repent and start a fresh revival in the church.

The main theme of the evening was delivered with passages drawn mainly from Matthew, Isaiah, and Revelation.

Both Lotz and Rosenberg talked about the nation’s economy and society being in severe trouble along with horrific natural disasters happening all over the world as rising threats to Israel, and growing persecution of believers, and environmental tragedies are all alarms going off to mark the signs of the times when Jesus will come again.

Rosenberg says, “This is what the Lord Almighty tell us in Haggai 2:6-7, 21-22; ‘In a little while, I will once more shake the heavens and the earth. I will shake all the nations….I will shake the heavens and the earth. I will overturn royal thrones and shatter the power of the foreign kingdoms.”

“To put it simply, the storm clouds are gathering,” Rosenberg said.“The winds are picking up. The tectonic plates beneath us are shifting.”

  1. Hello everyone. I had a dream about the Rapture last night and wanted to put this out there to see if the Holy Spirit will help me understand it through you.

In the dream the first thing I sensed was that I was dreaming and that while I was asleep I am awake here in this dream. I could hear, as if it was being reported on television in the background, all the prohetic things that were taking place. in hearing this I could also see some images of things happening. At this point in the dream I went to wake up my 8 year old son Noah who was sleeping on the couch. As i woke him up I said to him that it was time to go be with Jesus as he was at the door, figuratively, waiting for us. My son was happy to hear this and happy he would be making the trip with me holding him. I then saw a door open and me and my whloe family walked through it with a happiness that I have not ever felt in this world. Then i woke up happy and realizing it was just a dream.

Now I got up for a minute and then went back to bed. This is scene two of the dream. In a different place by myself, I could see massive amounts of people leaving everything they owned and going to this door. The sheer emptiness of the cities and their dwellings was haunting. I seemed to be aware that something was not right in this scene. That the happiness I felt before was now surrounded with an intense uncertainty. In my mind I was thinking how could these people not sense that where ever they were going was not involved with or of Christ. Little by little an awakening began to happen and the people began to realize that there was something wrong as well. They then started to form a resistance. Once this began the government in this place started cracking down on them and was relentless. I felt so down and hopeless watching all this. Then I woke up again. I fell back asleep for a little while but did not dream again. I have a sense of what this means but I would like to know the discernment you receive in helping me to understand this dream.

Love you all and I hope you have a great week.

  2. I can't necessarily tell you what it means, but I do want to say that I would LOVE to have a dream about the Rapture! I never have.

  3. James,
Could your dream imply that you have peace and security at a time when many Christians are mindlessly headed in the wrong direction because they have been deceived? Many of those same Christians are waking from their slumber but are struggling to get away from the lies that have them in bondage because evil principalities are fighting to keep them exactly where they are

  4. James,

These things as you know take time sometimes. I am praying about this.
The key to me is the door. For you and your family it was the entrance to love and life, the LORD!
But the same door to others looked like death.Only the sheep enter by the gate.
But it could be not a deception to believers but to unbelievers ( whom all of us are grieved for in these days). They seemed like unbelievers being forced to go where they suddenly realized they didn't want to go. The uncertainty you felt was I think the difference in your experience of the Lord and theirs.

I had a dream that was very vivd about 10 years of being raptured too. I am still praying over parts of it.

"Who hopes for what he already has?"

Hope sustains us in watching for Him.
    God Bless You!

  6. Anon:

This was my first dream about the rapture so I know what you mean.

    Brad:

I definitely think God was showing me the difference between the two. Your insight on the second scene of my dream is fascinating. I think you could be right. Amazing discerment my friend. Thank you.

    Waterer:

Thnak you for the insight and for praying for discernment. If I had two peg the people in scene two of the dream the ones who woke up as to what was going on might apply to Christians who have lost their way. Also in that same part of the dream there were still people going up the stairs with no hint of being aware that this wasn't of Christ. Maybe they are the unbelievers. Thanks again.

  7. Hi James N Nashville,

Thanks for sharing your (two part) dream for all of us to ponder.

As to your dream's first part, I would guess this portion describes/concerns the Rapture of all true Born-Again believers.
    Boy, for that I can't wait! :)

As for your dream's second part, I fear that portion concerns all unbelievers -- whether they be out-and-out unbelievers or pseudo-Christians. The common picture element in both parts of your dream is "this door".

I am guessing that "this door" is a single instance of time, that, upon entering it, a person takes on one of two paths -- one that is narrow and leads to life everlasting, while the other is broad & leads to destruction. The door is a partly alludes to the process of what's been going on throughout everyone's life (choosing the narrow or board way) -- and now that process has come to an intense time of choice. In the first part of your dream, the door is the Rapture of the Believer (who has chosen); in the second part, the door is also the start of the Tribulation for those left behind on earth (and who now must finally choose).

Of course, many during the Tribulation will finally decide to make Jesus their Lord & Savior. For them it took the terrible Tribulation to bring them to this point of choice, despite the price such a choice would incur (the First Death). For the others in this "left behind on earth" group, even for those among them who resist the evil but don't accept the Lord (thus they resist in the power of the flesh) -- the Second Death shall be their final fate. Of course, there are also many (the majority?) in this "left behind" group who'll join the evil and fully participate in it, who'll thus also seal their doom.

All the above is just my guess and humble opinion. Nevertheless I found your dream fascinating, and, I believe, very timely.

    God bless you,

    C.B.

  8. Scott are u out there ??

I think I know WHAT is going on.
if you reference "the 10" as Hal
Lindsey called them and THEY also
    called themselves, you will make
    an amazing discovery.

two of them, Greece and Portugal
    are in very serious trouble...
    why ??

cause their CDS or Credit Default
Swaps went to NEW HIGHS last night.

Wall street Bulls are at it again,
    stocks are up again.....BUT...

this is more then likely another
sucker RALLY before the big drop.

    Here is my point....

COULD it be that Greece and Portugal and one other nation
like Spain or Italy could be
the THREE nations that AC will
subdue, according to daniel 7 ??

Why will the be subdued ??

Cause of the illness of DEBT
    that they have threatening to
    destroy the entire UFM....

    tell me what u think...

    thanks

    Stephen !!!!

Thank you for taking the time to interpret my dream.

Your thoughts on the door in the second part meaning the start of the tribulation period hit me hard. I felt, as I read that line, a very deep sadness for those who would choose that and then would have to endure that period. I wouldn't want the worse person in the world to have to experience that.

I find your discernment as well as Brad and Waterer's comforting. God bless you my friend and have a great week.

  11. James, It is such a blessing when the Lord gives us humans a little taste of immortality . I think that the key in your dreams was "The Door" and we know that Jesus said that He is the Door.

Once when we were newly married, I felt so sad about not being married in Heaven. The Lord gave me a brief sort of wonderful knowledge of the Holy Spirit being in and around and through my new husband and I, as we hugged. And that assurance was not of this world , and so much better than any "feelings" we could have in this natural world. When my children bemoan not being married in Heaven, I think "just you wait. God has something even better , which we cannot imagine."

Like Mary, ponder these things in your heart. Share with us, as you choose. Diane

  12. Diane:

Thank you for comments about my dream. Honestly I think we will still be married when we go to Heaven. It's blessed and brought together here on earth by God so it will be in the new Jerusalem as well. I also believe that marriage in Heaven also is symbolic in a way where the love will be so deep and genuine that we will all feel that way towards each other. Think of it this way on earth marriage in itself is suppose to be the deepest relationship we experience and right behind that is the experience of loving our mother and father and then the love we have for our siblings. Three very distinct forms of love but different. Our friends, and we're lucky to have just one good friend, very seldom come close to a love like we have for our siblings but in Heaven with the perfect love we will experience with Christ will perfect the way we will love our brothers and sisters there. In short a love so deep, so incredibly fulfilling that we can't even comprehend it here while still on earth. I guess if I had to define it, even though I can't, the closest type of love to it would be the way a parent loves a child. Even that relationship is hard to explain to people who don't have children. Magnify that type of love by the largest number that exist and then you might be able to imagine just an inkling of what it will be like.

Thanks again for taking the time to reply. God bless you and I hope you have a great rest of the week.
