Japan: "Devastating melt-through at Fukushima"

The situation in Japan is far worse that originally thought, and the news continues to suggest that the problems could be on an epic scale:

Worse than meltdown

Recent reports confirming that Reactors 1, 2, and 3 of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear facility completely melted just hours after the devastating earthquake and tsunami hit the area on March 11 (http://www.naturalnews.com/032537_F...) have been trumped by even worse news that those same reactors have all likely "melted through," a situation that according to Japan's Daily Yomiuri DY is "the worst possibility in a nuclear accident."

And senior political official Ichiro Ozawa suggested in an interview with The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) that the Fukushima situation could make the entire country of Japan "unlivable."

An explanation follows and it describes the difference between a "meltdown" and "melt-through":

A nuclear core meltdown involves nuclear fuel exceeding its melting point to the point where it damages the core, leaks out, and threatens to potentially release high levels of radiation into the environment. However, a nuclear melt-through is an even worse scenario, as nuclear fuel literally melts through the bottom of damaged reactor pressure vessels into out containment vessels -- and possibly even melts through those outer vessels directly into ground, air, and water.

The report suggesting that melt-throughs have already occurred, which is set to be submitted to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), is the "first official recognition" of this dire situation, according to DY.

It also confirms early suspicions that such a scenario had been underway all along, as later reports confirmed that the epic disaster at the reactors had produced holes in come of the plant's core containment vessels, and that radioactive water, and possibly even fuel, were leaking into the lower vessels.

In an interview conducted prior to the release of the new report, Ichiro Ozawa told the WSJ that areas around Fukushima were already becoming completely "uninhabitable." He also suggested that as it currently stands, much of the rest of the country, including Tokyo, could suffer the same fate if nothing is done to properly and effectively contain the situation.

It is hard to know what to add to this article. This situation will continue to evolve.

As a reminder of what can happen, it may be worth a look back at Chernobyl:

  1. About gog-Magog, in revelation 20, it says that the battle of gog-Magog is after the millennium. I'll find the verse and post it.

  2. Revelations 20:7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth--Gog and Magog--to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore.

  3. Also revelations 13:5 The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months.

What does the 42 months mean? That's only 3 1/2 years.

  4. We will never fully know prophecy because we don't know what the 7 thunders of revelation 10:5 said.

And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

  6. Dylan,

Don't forget "Gog" is a title only. The uprising precipitated by satan at the end of the 1000 year reign is very different from "Gog-MaGog" of Ezekiel 38-39.

There are many differences - but one of the primary differences is the fact that the "Gog" of Rev 20 involves all of the "nations" of earth, while Gog-MaGog of ezekiel is a selected coalition (Iran - Turkey - Russia" and not "the nations"....

  7. Hi guys-I always wondered what the 7 thunders said too! I dont think it was not meant for us to know, but to keep from satan and his minions. John and Daniel surely were trusted greatly by God! I'm not to concerned about after the millenium currently. After all, 1000 years is still a long time away. lol! But Gog-Magog is nearly upon us. Eek!
Scott-I know ya can't tell us because none of us know but how long do you think? Do you think we will make it out before it gets really ugly here? It doesn't really matter but I would like to pray for a few specifics if I think its going to get really bad, like say a good waterproof pair of hiking boots. I don't have eneough money to stock up on anything like that so I have to pray for ahead for needs. Sorry to put you on the spot. Thanks-ally

  8. OOPs sorry Dylan, forgot to answer your 3 1/2 year question. The trib is 7 years. The Great Trib is the last 3 1/2 years. Basically, the Great Trib begins with the AC revealing himself in Jerusalem by sitting in the Holy of Holies and declaring himself to be God! That is when the real ugliness begins. At that point the AC tries to totally eliminate the Jews (he was a pretend friend before this point, agreeing to rebuilding of the temple and ushering in the me peace treaty)Thats why we prophecy watchers look so hard for the that 7 year peace treaty with Israel. At the signing, the 7 years of trib start!-ally Scott- please correct me if I am in error :)

There are just SO many tipping points now, its hard to say.

I can't imagine the Middle East going, say, two more years w/o exploding

Ahmadinejad's time as head of Iran is probably closer than that, and I assume he'll make his move < 2 years

Its hard to say - but I would say in the 6 mo - 2 year time frame...Maybe well inside of that.

  11. I'm guessing and hoping this summer/fall Scott. I tend to get excited pretty easily but there just seems to be so much all converging at the same time. I keep coming back to the "days of Noah" a time of business as ususal when Jesus catches up the church....and the time for business as usual seems to be running out. The Lord could certainly keep everything in a holding pattern long enough to gather the "fullness of the gentiles" but at the rate things are moving I don't see that realisticly being much longer

The USA economy now could easily crash from its own weight any time or the rapture could be the giagantic tipping point the globalists were not expecting but still plays into their hand perfectly allowing the AC to step forward in all the chaos as the man with the plan.

    I'm watching with great anticipation...Maranatha!

  12. You do make a good point WV - It has to be like the days of Noah - people eating, drinking, getting married etc....That can't last a whole lot longer IMO

    Hello Dylan and Ally

I have a theory about the seven thunders – I am repeating myself, so everyone please excuse me.

The seven years is a time ‘cut short’ by God in the past tense.

Leviticus 26 concerns the blessing and cursing for Israel ‘IF my people…’

Vs. 14 – 17 General tribulation to bring Israel to repentance (also the past 2000 yrs Diaspora?)

1)Vs.18. “And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you SEVEN times more for your sins”. (7 Seals?)

2)Vs.21.”… seven more plagues”. (7 Trumpets?)

3)Vs. 24 “…and will punish you yet seven times for your sins” (7 Bowls?)

4)Vs.28 “…and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins”. (7 Thunders?)

During the seven years there are THREE sets of judgments = 7 Seals; 7 Trumpets; 7 Bowls.

I suspect that the fourth judgment in Lev could be what God 'cuts short'during the Tribulation. They COULD have happened, but are to be with-held otherwise there would be no survivors.

In Lev.26; there are FOUR sets of judgments x 7, not just three. The fourth set may have been the 7 Thunders. Are these what The Lord 'with-held'; and why John was told about them, but he was forbidden to record them?

After the judgments comes reconciliation. (Millennium?)

These are known as ‘The Five Cycles of Discipline’ that have occurred within Israel’s history.

I did write to Arnold Fruchtenbaum some years ago to ask what he thought. He said he was unsure if they also included the Tribulation; but thought it may be the case – probably!?

    God bless you.

  14. Sue, thank you for sharing your thoughts on the seven thunders. I always learn something new from you. :-) I'm glad you are a fellow believer and I look forward to meeting you in person one day--in our perfect bodies.

Ally, I've been thinking about the number of people, believers and non-believers alike, who are unaware of the lateness of the hour and are unprepared. I believe our compassionate, almighty, fearful God will always provide for us in ways unimaginable--whether it occurs after or before the rapture. The Church is in such a state that I truly believe we'll be ushered out of here before things become so dire, IMHO.

    Hello Dylan

The seven year Covenant is divided into two parts of 3 ½ years each or 1265 days; or 42 months; or a Time, Times and Half a Time. A ‘Biblical Prophetic Year’ follows the Moon/Lunar cycle of 360 days instead of our Sun/Solar cycle of 365 days.

The MIDST of the ‘Seven’ is the end of the first 3 ½ years and the start of the last 3 ½ years. It is in the ‘midst’ that the False Prophet sets up the Abomination of Desolation. (AoD)

This makes the ‘midst’ an important ‘time-marker’. It enables us to count back 1265 days to the start of the ‘seven’, when Jesus breaks the first Seal, and forward 42 months to the end of the seven and the 2nd Coming.

We know the Two Witnesses are given 1265 days (first 3 ½ yrs) to witness and are killed by the Beast when he comes up from the Abyss – who THEN enters the Temple to be worshipped as god making the AoD. This means the Two Witnesses MUST begin their ministry at the start of the Seven years within the first 3 ½ years, in order to die (and resurrect), at that particular time.

We also know that from the AoD ‘midst’; A/c is give another 42 months (last 3 ½ yrs) to rule over the world, then is killed (again) on the last day of the ‘seven’ by Jesus at His return.

Because of the ‘midst’ ‘time-marker’; many events can be timed, such as the above, and understand exactly when the Seal and Trumpet judgments take place. This helps us when confronted with other Rapture ‘timings’ and gives us a good, prophetic, framework to understand The Revelation.

    I do hope I haven’t confused you.
    God bless.
    Sue

    P.S.
*Sir Robert Anderson “The Coming Prince” is a Christian classic on this subject.
*Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum “The Footsteps of the Messiah” Ariel Ministries is invaluable.

    Gearedup2go, Ally and all,

There is never enough time for me to come here. The threads slip away so quickly from all of Scott’s beavering to fuel our Blessed Hope, so comments go unanswered.

Every one’s love, kindness and prayerful support is truly precious, needed and appreciated. I was unwell this morning, just over tired; then I read that Ally calls me ‘Beloved Sue’, and it set me up for my busiest day. Kind words are better than a king’s ransom and it is an amazing thought that before much longer, we shall all be together when The Lord HIMSELF (not angels) comes to take us home to be with Him for Eternity.

I am expecting Jesus imminently and you have your loins girded and geared up to go. This isn’t wishful thinking; there is NO doubt – NON; that we are living in the times of the signs. When you see all these things BEGIN to happen – look up… Jesus didn’t say AFTER all these things or even in the MIDST of all these things, but when they BEGIN; and oh boy, have they ever begun!

Yes the ‘signs’ are the storm clouds gathering for the coming of ‘Jacob’s Trouble’ in order to bring Israel to her Messiah, but because they are now bleeping on the radar, the Rapture is at least seven years before that. The Master has delayed His coming, but His arrival is imminent, and although unknown, it is absolutely certain and He will be right on time; and not one second too late.

The Blessed Hope is in the PRESENT tense. Not as the other Rapture timings would have us to believe it’s after this, that or the other. Their ‘hope’ is deferred, and that makes the heart sick.

The hope of the world is a wishful dream, it is weak and uncertain.
Biblical hope is a definite certainty because it is hinged to God’s own Word and His promises to all His people and He is not a man that he should lie! If He has said a thing will happen – then it will happen without a shadow of a doubt.

Keep LOOKING UP! And while ‘occupying’ till He comes; remember Matt.6.

    God bless you all.
    Sue

We see things the same way and I agree with what you are saying above.

Its 'funny' you mentioning what Ally said and how it picked you up...I was pondering just today, how touched I was at all the kindness directed my way, and towards my family --- and how seemingly small things (such as sending flowers, writing notes, etc.) deeply touched me..Much more than usual (I'm not all that 'sentimental') -- but it really did touch me on a deep deep level...just like a few kind words from Ally - and the effect it had.
"Small acts of kindness" are HUGE
