"Iran Marines Set to Escort Flotilla 'To Teach Israel Lessions'"

Iran is ready to escalate tensions in the Middle East. In this article Link Here we see the following quotes:

Two Iranian ships intended to head for Hamas-controlled Gaza are waiting for their government's approval to challenge Israel on the high seas, escorted by “volunteer marines” that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad wants to send “to teach Israelis a lesson.”

An Iranian Red Crescent official said the two ships are waiting for the Iranian foreign ministry to give the green light for launching, according to the French news service AFP, quoting the Iranian Mehr news service. The Red Crescent said a third ship probably would join the fleet.

Turkey was one of two countries that voted against new sanctions imposed on Iran last week by the United Nations Security Council. Once considered a friend of Israel and distant from Iran, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has totally reversed government policy over the past two years and has joined the Syrian-Iranian-Hizbullah axis while stating that it still wants goods relations with Israel. (IsraelNationalNews.com)

Interesting that Turkey would show up once again, in full support of Iran, just as the prophet Ezekiel informed us. It will be interesting to see how much Iran is willing to provoke Israel in this pending conflict. The region is so tenuous right now, that the smallest provocation could ignite warfare.

The Jerusalem Post is also carrying this story:

"Iranian ships ready to sail to Gaza"

The Iranian Red Crescent has equipped and loaded two ships with aid, and is waiting for permission from the Iranian Foreign Ministry to set sail for Gaza, AFP reported on Sunday. A third ship is planned for next week.

An Iranian Red Crescent official, Mojtaba Majd, was quoted as saying that over 100,000 Iranians have volunteered to sail on the ships. He said that the problems involved may prevent Iran from sending volunteers, however "the important issue is that the people of Gaza know that more than 100,000 Iranians are ready to come to their help."

The Iranian decision to send ships to Gaza, follows the international outrage over the Israeli commando raid on the Turkish ship, the Mavi Marmara, which was part of a flotilla seeking to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza.

An Iranian Red Crescent ship was sent to Gaza during 'Operation Cast Lead' but was turned back by Israeli warships.

It is difficult to predict how this situation will end, but for a variety of reasons, Israel's enemies are emboldened right now and brimming with confidence. Their daily rhetoric indicates that they believe Israel's days are numbered. It is only matter of time now - it seems that conflict is just on the brink. Iran has been pushing the buttons in the region recently and it will be interesting to see what they have in store this time.

  1. it is my thought that if a full blown war is to occur, its gotta come before midterm elections. if there is a change in the house, senate and congress the whole dynamics will change so it seems isreals enemies best strike before midterms.

  2. hmmmm...I hadn't considered that Hart - interesting observation. Or will they think they are in good shape as long as Obama is in office, regardless of congress?

the one the "other EI" nailed here...

P.S., And thanx, you're welcome! But there's got to be a better [HTML code] way of dealing with these busy "paid pervs" than spending all of your time on each one...

You might check again with EI, the master of disguises...
She learnt it all very well from her mum, the original 007, whom that chauvinist Ian Flemming re-cast her as a 'chauvinist, womanizing' him!

  6. Scott,
    Check with Nathan @ lamblion.us
I don't recall them ever getting hit with all this, maybe he has a code trap,... or he sleeps with one eye open 24/7 [which would account for "some" of his ramblings...]
    ;)

  9. It'll be curious to see if Egypt will allow the Iranian ships through the Suez Canal. Would show on which side of the fence Egypt sits.

  11. Scott,
It's a shame that comment moderation has to chunk into your time now as well as delaying our post and that's why I was wondering if you talked with Nathan about any code traps as he doesn't seem to be having that problem.

Maybe he's just been lucky so far...

    'lucky'... Haaaaahaaahaaaha!!!
