He doesn’t name them because they are not significant to Him, in the sense that they are only building blocks to what is to come that He and He alone orchestrates. What is important, are not the names that we here on Earth name, but the nations He names. These are the most significant wars to come, as they will fulfill His Purpose of the ending of the Church Age, and the restoration of His Covenant with His People. God has Ezekiel devote 8 Chapters to the destruction of the above named nations. Interestingly enough, in Lebanon gets 3 of those Chapters. One of the Verses, is very interesting indeed. Could it be Hezbollah?

Ezekiel 28 :7-8
7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.

There are not Scriptures I know of describing Israel possessing any land in Egypt after the Isaiah 17 and Ezekiel 38 wars. There are plenty of false teachings out there suggesting that Israel will be “victorious land barons”, but that is untrue.
There is only one place that within the Scriptures of the Isaiah 17- Ezekiel 38 wars that says that Israel will recover a portion of their land, and that is Jordan. Isaiah 17:2 tells us that, and God tells us in Revelation 12 that the Jewish Believers will flee and be safe, and we believe that to be Jordan also.

God Bless!
Mrs.Cnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432851080052468710.post-83542218291560753192012-08-20T22:23:58.308-04:002012-08-20T22:23:58.308-04:00The time will come for 29/30 Ezekiel to be fufille...The time will come for 29/30 Ezekiel to be fufilled. I agree with ...Hey, I was hoping you'd come by

I agree with the above completely - exactly as I see it...But I'm just saying as we watch this unfold, I'm not sure we can expect each of these countries to issue a formal declaration of war with Israel. Just like Lebanon's
involvement - it could be that we see a huge army of Hezbollah coming in and invading from Lebanon, w/o a formal war declaration, yet it would still be in keeping with prophecy.

The question was --- Where are the scriptures which describe Israel as having or possessing certain parts of Egypt after these battles? I can't find them for the life of me! It is just amazing for us t...Hi Brother Scott, :)
It is just amazing for us to be so privilege to witness Gods Prophetic Word being fulfilled before us! We do know the nations that are involved at the beginning of this in Isaiah 17.
Verse 1 – Damascus - Syria
Verse 2 – Jordan
(“Aroer is a region on the northern bank of the Arnon River in what is today Jordan. In Moses day, it marked the southern boundary of the territory given to the two and a half tribes who received their land inheritance on the east side of the Jordan River. Aroer was in the territory of Reuben. There was another Aroer in the territory of Gad, near Rabbah. Rabbah is today called Amman, capital of Jordan.”)
Verse 3 – The West Bank
At the end of this horrendous battle, when God Himself has to step in to prevent His People from being completely wiped out, He “rebukes” the nations that “rush” in.
I believe that His “rebuke” could very well be the completed fulfillment of His Judgments in Ezekiel Chapters 25-32. Those specific nations that He, whew, REALLY releases His fury on in these Judgments are:
Jordan, Gaza, Lebanon and Egypt!
Whew, Lebanon alone is going to be underwater, never to be found again! Then theres Egypt, oh my! This is where God tells us that not only Gog will have “hooks in the jaw”, but He will do it to Egypt too! He tells us He’s going to land them like a fish, for the “beasts of the fields” to devour! Oh …without question, Egypt’s got it coming. God has allowed evil to rise to the surface in these nations, so that he can wipe them out! They have hardened their hearts, just like Pharaoh!

Ezekiel 29:4-5
4 But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales.

5 And I will leave thee thrown into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open fields; thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven.

God Bless You Brother! :)Mrs.Cnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432851080052468710.post-45467528034868129872012-08-20T21:27:31.802-04:002012-08-20T21:27:31.802-04:00AM - no, they aren't mentioned - I believe mos...AM - no, they aren't mentioned - I believe most of us see Egypt involved in the Psa 83/Isaiah17 scenario. I see it as the "inner circle" battle followed by the "outer circle" battle.

By this, the 'inner circle' being those enemy states who immediately surround Israel (Lebanon/Hezbollah, Syria, Gaza (Hamas), Egypt and possibly Jordan.

We know that when this takes place, Israel will be hit hard, particularly northern Israel, which is specified in Isaiah 17 as having been damaged. This is the scenario which describes the complete destruction of Damascus.

The "outer circle" - as seen geographically relative to Israel consists of (the regions of) Iran, Russia, Turkey and Northern Africa invade Israel as described in Ezekiel 38-39 (aka "Gog-MaGog")

I believe that it is difficult to give exact matches with ancient lands and today's countries (excepting Iran), but there are basic fits. Additionally, I believe that one has to consider that any coalition (inner circle or outer circle) could have fighters from these regions without that country formally declaring war.

For instance, Hezbollah controls much of northern Lebanon, but not 'formally' in the sense of absolute government control of Lebanon, So there could be a scenario involving the region of Lebanon (as described biblically), via Hezbollah, w/o the country formally going to war.Just based on how strongly they occupy the southern part of the country

I believe this could possibly apply to northern africa countries that are often listed as part of the Gog-MaGog coalition.

Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00403649419538752058noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432851080052468710.post-36317449368203756602012-08-20T21:06:01.127-04:002012-08-20T21:06:01.127-04:00Scott,
