Then for some reason my mind wandered back to the Christmas story, and how Caesar Augustus thought he was in total control. Yet God used this to bring about one of the greatest events in human history, the birth of His Son, which tells us who's really in control; and He's just as much in control today, not Obama or any of the Republicans; and if Scalia's passing brings us that much closer to the fulfillment of His plans, our get-together at the Tree of Life will occur that much sooner. We should be rejoicing in the knowledge that Jesus could return at any moment this should and must spur us on to share the good news of salvation in Christ with as many as possible.
Even though He may come today or tomorrow, we should plan our lives as though we will be here on earth for our full life expectancy. Don’t drop out of the world. Don’t stop working for righteousness on this plane. Make the most of the time we have.
Also as the world becomes more chaotic and troubled, we as believers need to be steadfast, because we know where things are headed. We can rest assured that Christ will protect us until His purpose is finished and then we will be taken up to be with Him in heaven.
It’s late, but there’s still time to bring many others to salvation. And that is our final mission."
Tally Ho! Maranatha!
Hal Lindsey

johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12574661648365627599noreply@blogger.com
