Thank you for your kind words...Hi Sister Helen, :)
Thank you for your kind words, but truly the Holy Spirit gets the credit. :) You are exactly right Sis, about the lack of humility before God in this wonderful nation. Some of our Brothers and Sisters In Christ around the world, could put us to shame...
The teaching in His Word that He shows us about the Fruit,(thats the beginning post of this-a ways up lol), His wonderful Words, I am still joyfully processing! :)
God Bless You Sis!Mrs.Cnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432851080052468710.post-26484858819869332782011-12-18T09:08:15.138-05:002011-12-18T09:08:15.138-05:00Thank you Mrs. C. Hebrews 12:11 can be telling us the s...(Continued)

Hebrews 12:11 can be telling us the same thing but with different words.

Hebrews 12:11
11Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

We hear His Word speak of “chastening”, and that it’s not “joyous” for the present, but rather “grievous”. The same could be said of “pruning”. A Gardner prunes, he has to cut pieces from the plant. He has to remove deceased parts, parts that withdraw life from the plant without being useful to it. The plant has now been changed, as the Gardner has intervened and cut it. Chastening is kind of the same, isn’t it? We chasten our children and we prune our plants. Both are done with the same goal: to make the children better, to make the plants more fruitful. When God chastens we His children this may for the present be “grievous” or painful, yet to those that take the lesson there is only one thing that will be produced and this fruit, peaceable fruit of righteousness as Hebrews tell us. After all God has to do this, because this is a job a Father that loves his kids very dearly, has to do. The lesson therefore is that, as plants have Gardeners to prune them, so that they make more fruit, so also we have our beloved Heavenly Father, who is in charge of the pruning business so that by abiding in Christ we bring even more fruit.

Are all personal relationships with Christ, with our Father the same? No, sadly some see God as a Judgmental lightning bolt throwing God, instead of a Loving Father that corrects us, and is also Just and True.
I will conclude with a story I witnessed live, coming from Iraq. It was an interview I saw with a Christian Brother in Bagdad I believe it was. A Christian reporter stopped an Iraqi Christian Brother on the street to interview him, which I will paraphrase. The Iraqi Brother was hesitant to even speak on camera, but the naïve Christian reporter, pushed him to do so. The Christian reporter said to the Iraqi Brother, “ so hey, why aren’t you standing here on the street corner handing out tracks and proclaiming loudly the Word Of God?”. The Iraqi Brother at first barely responded, and the insistent Christian report pushed the Brother to answer. The answer that this precious Iraqi Brother gave, has stayed with me all these years. He said simply, and quietly, “We can’t speak the Word of God in public, or we will risk being killed”. Finally a little deflated from the Iraqi Brothers answer, the Christian reporter replied “well, then how do you share the Gospel, Gods Word?”. The Iraqi Brother replied “it is difficult and dangerous to speak the Gospel here, it is our lives that speak His Word for us. We are constantly watched by many, and our lives demonstrate His Word to all”. The Christian reporter as I recall, could hardly respond to that.
We here in this Blessed wonderful nation, have not the fears that so many of our Brothers and Sisters around the world have. We are free to worship and speak His Word, at least, so far. Can we, my wonderful Brothers and Sisters say the same as our Brother in Iraq? Do our lives show the same, can someone look at our lives without a the spoken Word, and know that we are a Christian? Are we withering a bit on the Vine, or only producing a weak amount of fruit? We are in the final stretch of the race, and I hope and Pray for all of us, that even including a wee little bit of pruning from our Loving Father, that we all produce fruit abundantly for HIM! For HIS GLORY! Thank You Father, Thank You Lord Jesus, Thank You Holy Spirit! Amen
God Bless You All, In His Love, YSICMrs.Cnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432851080052468710.post-57442609041177771902011-12-18T08:44:53.310-05:002011-12-18T08:44:53.310-05:00Hi Brother Scott, )
Ok Brother, you don’t know i...Hi Brother Scott, )
Ok Brother, you don’t know it, but you, (as with some others) just confirmed another Holy Spirit moment! All Praise and Glory to you Father! Lord Jesus! Thank You Holy Spirit! I was pooped yesterday evening, which kinda clouded as to whether I had completed the post. The Holy Spirit was prompting me that I wasn’t, and here you are Brother with your comment. Please forgive me, but there was one more portion of this, and that is the “Pruning”. If I may, I will now be obedient and complete the post :)
As a gardener since I was a wee little one, at the age of 5. I can still remember my first garden, with my Mom’s help to dig it, and the memories are precious to me. :) The wonderful smell of dark rich soil, and the careful planting of each seed. Then after the Spring rains, to behold the bountiful beauty of vibrant colors when those tiny seeds grew into a magnificent palate of fragrant blossoms! Its been many, many years since that time, and the love of gardening has never left me. :) When I read Gods Word, and in many Scriptures the Lord uses agriculture practices to explain His Message, I understand and with great Joy.
“Pruning” is a great and wonderful action of His Love! As with plants, from time to time it is necessary. All plants needs pruning, and all plants needs a Gardner that will prune it, direct its growth to the desirable way; and take care of its health. The Gardner will also remove the diseased parts and will cleanse it so that it brings more fruit. The same is true for us as branches of the Vine that is the Lord Jesus Christ. We also need “pruning”, and we have the most Loving Gardner to take care of it!

John 15:1-3
1I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
It is our Father who takes care of the pruning, that is a necessity, for we cannot grow without it. He watches as a good and faithful Gardner, and He then intervenes, guiding our growth, removing obstacles and cleansing us so that we can produce more fruit! Praise God! My rose bushes used to be ok, average. One year I obtained instructions from a Master Garder as to how exactly to prune rosebushes in a careful, specific way. The next year, my rose bushes had so many blooms it was amazing, and most of all not even kidding, they grew to be 9’ tall!!! Our Father is our Master Gardner, and He knows just precisely how to prune us, so that we produce the most abundance of fruit! We produce fruit when abiding in Christ, but to reach our most abundance of producing fruit, our Loving Father takes care of that by pruning us. It is our job to abide in the Vine and it is the Father’s job to take care of any pruning that is necessary to increase our productivity.Mrs.Cnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432851080052468710.post-58665391857910141332011-12-17T23:53:01.227-05:002011-12-17T23:53:01.227-05:00Very interesting and a great read. If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? 18But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. 19And if they were all one member, where were the body? 20But now are they many members, yet but one body. 21And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. 22Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: 23And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. 24For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked. 25That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. 26And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. 27Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

Each one of us are expected to function in His Gift, ministering to one another. Peter tells us to get busy with what God has gifted you with. Get busy ministering according to your Gift. These words from Peter, are presupposing that we are in a living relationship with Jesus.

Philippians 1:9-11
9And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; 10That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ. 11Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

The fruits of righteousness “are by Jesus Christ” NOT by our power. In addition their result is the Glory and Praise of God. As Jesus explains in John 15, HE is the VINE and we are the branches:

John 15:4-5,8
4Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Only when we are abiding in the Vine, do we bring forth fruit, and Jesus is the Vine, not us! We are the branches, and cannot bear fruit unless we abide in the Vine. As we abide in Jesus, He will manifest, live through us, and produce fruit.
Ministering and pursuing the good works that God prepared for us is based on our relationship with our Lord Jesus, whom we want to please. The focus is not so much on the works themselves but in Christ, and through our relationship with Christ, as we are abiding in Christ, “by Jesus Christ” as Philippians said, the fruit is coming forth.Mrs.Cnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432851080052468710.post-45446511044931998962011-12-17T18:01:34.312-05:002011-12-17T18:01:34.312-05:00(Continued)
God did not want us to Believe and ...(Continued)

God did not want us to Believe and just leave it at that, willy nilly – sail through life. Our fruitfulness matters to Him. God Created each one of us as a unique person, He Gifted US uniquely, and asked us to do one thing: to be fruitful. God has Gifted each of us, from the youngest to the oldest, poorest to the richest, uneducated to the educated. He has Gifted us ALL, and desires us to bear much fruit.

John 15:1-2
1I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.2Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

John 15:8
8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Wow! Look how much our Father loves us to be very fruitful! He takes the time to clean those who bear fruit up, to prune them so that they bring more fruit! Our Father doesn’t just want a bunch of branches hanging around fruitless, He wants full fruitful branches, that give to their full potential. We want to be a fruitful branch, blossoming and giving fruit in its fullness.
Fruit is a Christ centered life, as we have died to ourselves, so that Jesus will live through us. Galatians 2:19-20 We seek to please God, rather than ourselves or other people. A life whos central theme, focus and priority is God.

Galatians 5:22-25
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Jesus living with in us, produces the fruit. God has already prepared good works for us to walk. He has Gifted each one of us uniquely, and we are but trees planted already designed to bear fruit. All that we have to do is to walk in what God has already prepared.

Ephesians 2:10
10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Peter tells us to be watchful in Prayer, have fervent love for one another, be hospitable without grumbling. He also tells us that we each received a gift from God.

1 Peter 4:7-10
7But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. 8And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 9Use hospitality one to another without grudging. 10As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

As each of the body parts are unique and placed there with a function, so also each one of us: we have been placed by God in the body of Christ, the Church, and we have been gifted uniquely to function there. We are to minister to one another.Mrs.Cnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432851080052468710.post-62748398580971923832011-12-17T17:57:33.241-05:002011-12-17T17:57:33.241-05:00(Continued)
Brother Scott established this site ...(Continued)
Brother Scott established this site as a blog, not a message board. There are no rooms or sections, for such as “Prayer” or “Apostasy” etc. Believe me, I have seen some pretty ugly dialogues (if you could call them that) between Mods and inquisitive posters, in those “Apostasy” sections on message boards. Whew just plain ugly, and a cringe factor to witness. Jesus could care less about denominations, and I believe some people will be shocked to discover this when they stand before Him. Denominations in Heaven? Nada, none, zip, not gonna happen! It is a matter of the heart. Many are Saved without a tutorial on doctrine. Mods at a certain site for example, have been deluded by their own sense of false power on the Internet, to the point of cultish behavior, and know longer see the Truth of His Word, but are condemning themselves with their own words and actions. There seems to be so much confusion (guess where confusion comes from) out there now a days with Christians. Its either extreme legalism, folks convinced they are “fighting for God”, or the complete opposite, any thing goes “all religions lead to God” etc.the list goes on. The never ending journey of seeking of “Knowledge” in His Word is of course wonderful; however there can be a tendency by our Brothers and Sisters to enter into legalism. The lure and enticement of “knowledge” began way back in the Garden, and remains an enticement for some. Down this path of seeking “knowledge”, they can sometimes lead them away from the Lord, instead of bringing them closer to Him. It grows slowly, so that the obtaining of “knowledge” becomes boastful and more important than a relationship with Him. In other words, you can recite the whole Bible, but that doesn’t mean you know God. You can “know” all about Him, yet you don’t “know” HIM! However there are indeed many false teachings out there today, and many are misleand.
Example, one esteemed “teacher” referenced here, I heard for myself a year ago or so, heart breakingly bought into some of these false teachings, even worse it was in exchange for his own self promotion. You could even hear this “teacher” kinda squirm while he attempted to carefully choose his words that could leave wiggle room for him to come back latter and deny that he endorsed this false teaching. But the fact is, he got his promotion out there, and by just engaging this person, gave the good impression of his endorsement of his false teaching. Man is very fallible, no matter who they are, where and when we open Gods Word, and with guidance from His Holy Spirit, His Word will never fail us.

I felt led to share with you, a study I once read regarding the Fruit of the Spirit. Its good, a wee bit long, and Im kinda paraphrasing the original study. Im hoping this will help direct us, as to our purpose in these last days, as there are so many distractions while we head towards the finish line! Our Christian life is about knowing our Father in Heaven, His Son our Lord Jesus and bringing forth Fruit!

John 15:16
16.Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Romans 7:4
4.Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
When Jesus speaks in the parable of the sower, He speaks of four different types the hearing of the Word. The final one, is the one that is fruitful.

Matthew 13:23
23.But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.Mrs.Cnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432851080052468710.post-56769480854611624952011-12-17T17:52:58.193-05:002011-12-17T17:52:58.193-05:00Oh my goodness, this is very sad to read all this!...Oh my goodness, this is very sad to read all this! I love you all! The enemy certainly knows his time is short, especially when he uses our smallest of weaknesses to attack each other, and then he attempts to grow those weaknesses!
The Internet can be used for good, but it can also be used for evil. For example, folks are led into the deception, that they can say or post whatever they like without consequence. The door for deception is very wide open, for both Believers and non Believers alike. It also can entice and deceive Brothers and Sisters with a kind of power, that is a false power. Again, naively believing there are no consequences, when there are very much consequences. Maybe not here on earth, but one of these days, very soon, before the Lord.
Rudeness and lack of compassion, has no excuse with any of us, none. There are some here that suffer with the infirmities of serious illnesses, both mental and physical and NONE are more or less important than the other. We should be embracing our Brothers and Sisters with patience, understanding, and love, as this is the Fruit of the Spirit! Some folk may need to be “tough”, because to be “emotional”, would let the finger out of the dike of control for them. If face to face in Church, would we speak to each other the way we do? I think not, and that is part of the deception of the Internet.

Gods Word is powerful, and is a “two-edged sword”. But our words are not to be cutting, whether it be to a stranger or a Brother and Sister. We will be Judged be held accountable for our words, whether spoken or written. Jesus, is here with each of us this very moment, and knows all that’s in our hearts and what is said, written, thought. We all need to meditate on His Words, before we hit the “send” key!

Matthew 12:34-37
34.O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.35.A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.36.But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.37For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Romans 14:10-12
10.But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.11.For it is written:
“ As I live, says the LORD,
Every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall confess to God.”

12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. 13 Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way.

Brother Scott was led to establish this blog. He was obedient, and God has Blessed and grown it. No surprise that the enemy would attack both from without and within. The “within” is always the most painful! Brother Scott, I love you Brother, and if I may say, sometimes Brother you remind me of Moses. He wasn’t comfortable in the position God gave him, and was saying to God that he couldn’t possibly speak to the crowd. Well God led him, and was with him Brother Scott, and he is with you too! Whether comfortable or not Brother, you now have a crowd, and God trusts you to lead them. :)Mrs.Cnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432851080052468710.post-71994234571503768062011-12-17T14:27:01.972-05:002011-12-17T14:27:01.972-05:00Right, Scott, and sorry about the double post abov...Right, Scott, and sorry about the double post above :)

Can't you tell I'm from the south ?! As has been stated many times before, there is soooo much lost in the written word, and so much that can be improperly inferred.

That is all that I am going to say on the subject. I was thinking aloud after reading Dave's comment.

I absolutely am NOT a teacher, in any way, neither do I pretend otherwise. I am only a witness to The Word and recognise when it is being taken out of context and abused to prove a faulty theory.

It’s interesting to be accused of being like a child beater; thank God He knows the truth. Also that in all the responses to poor old Stephen, (who in my view is really a naughty 'little fox') that everyone else was wrong, only you had it right - had you thought about that? You really don’t have the monopoly on caring GG!

For your own sake, and your walk with Jesus, please don't use your illness as an excuse for bad behaviour; just recognise it’s the old sin nature rising to the fore and needs dealing with. If we don’t do this, then we are out of step with The Holy Spirit and out of fellowship with our Heavenly Father which means He will not hear us when we pray.

I say this as an old girl who has learned this lesson the hard way; if only someone had told me the facts of the Christian life. This is what I have tried to do for you and others, to save yourself pain and learn from my many mistakes.

Please be assured that I hold no ill feeling toward you whatsoever – or anyone else for that matter; I recognise all too well the difficulties of resisting the ‘old man’ and walking with The Holy Spirit to change us to be like Jesus.

SueExpected Imminentlynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432851080052468710.post-46230722841712564692011-12-17T09:16:00.892-05:002011-12-17T09:16:00.892-05:00Several of you have indicated...either by comments...Several of you have indicated...either by comments here or email...a desire for Mrs C to weigh in on the subject of discussion.

She will....she's spent considerable time putting it together and I believe we will each benefit from it....already we have both been humbled and grown simply by preparation on the subject for quite some time.....weeks really, but especially now.

It is coming....Caverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04501263352164217716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432851080052468710.post-76454962016819870302011-12-17T08:48:47.418-05:002011-12-17T08:48:47.418-05:00Dave said “… may I suggest you appoint the most se...Dave said “… may I suggest you appoint the most senior male and female contributors as "discipline guardians…”

Oer and oops! That means E.I. and DrNofog are among the front runners in that plan ;)

We are both a bit cagy about our natural birth ages, and that’s false pride on my part, I fear. However my age in Christ is just over 60years, so I have passed my ‘Diamond Jubilee’ – hopefully I don’t have much longer to go DV.

Although I am an English mongrel; all my worthwhile Bible tuition has come from the good old faithful and generous U.S.A, predominately via Dallas teachers before it went orf the rails. Walking in The Holy Spirit via His Word has been a lifelong learning curve, and still learning as we never ‘arrive’ …

My credentials in The Lord is ‘Watchman’ which I readily accepted having absolutely no idea what that would mean, but have since found out it is a position loathed by the church in general - not popular you see, as we have to be willing to be disliked for warning against false teaching by those who prefer to be cosseted with lies and deceptions. It means a lot of lost sleep with tears, and I get plenty of that!

Out of interest, a Watchman’s equipment is a working knowledge of The Word; so no need to worry about being given that job if learning God’s Word hasn’t been no.1 priority in life.

I am like Scott in that I loathe confrontation – hate it, but I was told that my forehead would be made like flint against the protesters; and so it has proved, in spite of my acute sensitivity and vile depression that has dogged me all my life. Part of the training I suppose.

It has been helpful to be blessed by a good sense of humour, thank The Lord, I laugh at myself and don’t take ‘me’ very seriously at all and often pray – Lord who do I think I am! ‘Your mine’ He whispers ‘and doing as I tell you (most of the time)’. So I keep short accounts with The Lord, knowing I am a sinner, to stand by His Grace obeying 1John 1:9.to remain in fellowship with our Heavenly Father. I shall soon find out how I have done at the Bema, not long now.

Among the gifts The Holy Spirit has worked in me includes the ‘Discerning of spirits’, years of experience there, so presumably that’s another tick in the box for a job I am not keen to take on as yet another brick-bat against my old head. Whatever The Lord wants, by His Grace, I will do it like it or loathe it.

Praise The Lord and Maranatha!
SueExpected Imminentlynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432851080052468710.post-32867296009914800132011-12-17T08:35:11.443-05:002011-12-17T08:35:11.443-05:00I love you all. I will continue my work with the ...I love you all. I will continue my work with the Lord, but I just can't be a party to this. I don't know what Stephen needed on that day, but I am glad and proud to say I love this brother enough to find out and not assume the worst in him. In a matter of hours all our lives could have changed if he would have went through with it. Seriously, changed. The police would have needed to start somewhere and the evidence of behavior on both parts here would have certainly given them just cause to look into each of our personal lives and roles in someone's suicide attempt or cry.

We all read daily how many parents are killing their kids, how many kids are taking their lives, how many spouses just can't take it and end it all. We hear about parents pounding and hammering their children as the innocent child looks up at them in their understanding, but since it is not enough that parent pushes harder, yells more, and beats them. That is what it feels like here lately and I know that is not what you are about. While using this analogy and having someone come up and tell me that we must continue to treat Gods children in this manner so they can "learn" is warped. That is how I come up with my thinking on this. We are all children of God. He knows are differences and he assigns us parents to be good stewards of his precious children, not destroy them. I understand that there will be some unruly children so to speak in the bunch, but that doesn't mean the whole group of children have to suffer, because the parent didn't hear the magic words of acknowledgement from that child. Again, that is an abusive, militant style, and not for my heart or walk with Christ.

We should be pulling together and not coming apart. I love you all and will see you on the other side. I have some that I am already in contact with here and I look forward to those continued friendships privately. I too am stating this is not about attention seeking, quite the contrary; I am honoring my Father and detaching, in love from this gruesome behavior and teachings that is not in his divinely lead-full contextual teachings as it should be . I trust all my outstanding questions and concerns will lovingly be addressed and heard by my Father upon my arrival home. Merry Christmas All!

Happy belated birthday, Mr C.!

Dave and Stephen, please take extra care of yourselves and I look forward to meeting you all.

God Bless!!

GGGGnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432851080052468710.post-21048245614470031332011-12-17T08:34:40.290-05:002011-12-17T08:34:40.290-05:00(con't)

Where is the compassion of another? We all know the cross works both ways. While I commend Sue's undying passion and love for the Lord in these last days, we must remember the cross runs both ways. Picture not only the up and down movement which is the personal relationship between us and God through Christ but the side to side which are his children, his chosen people to travel in through those tiresome roads so they can learn to move in the body of Christ with Love and Grace all the while learning. What Sue is doing here is making her of no earthly good and that is not what God desires out of us.

I hope many will see what I am saying with Love, not malice. We not only must separate from false doctrine, we must separate from false teachings. In its proper, God breathed, God Spoken, context. Right now we have man taking Gods word and slicing it up with unknown intent and slapping it back down on the brethren with a heavy hand, thus creating division and a heavier heart. The only one sitting in these last days laughing, is the evil one. He has taken a platform that was built for one thing and slowly, piece by piece, destroyed its home. That is sad and with the holidays coming up, it's time to turn back to the Lord more than ever and get in the spirit of Love.

I have never come to a place and allowed anyone to TELL me what my relationship with Christ is. We have a wonderful network up here of all denominations but even in our church home, we delve into the word greatly and the delivery is never, ever this hurtful or mean-spirited and labeled something God told the lost as well as the saved. There are big gaps in these teachings, therefore, it should be by a true professional who encompasses ALL that God is, not one point of view in a posting that on many days one can't tell where the thoughts are coming from. Sue has led us before to L&L and there is the same pattern, but a gentler side of herself than here. Over there they are seasoned in delving deeper into the word. I commend them, but they operate with a level of respect and are all on the same level of teachings over there. On this site you have many ages and stages and the life is quickly getting stomped out of them, while trying to drive the point home.GGnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432851080052468710.post-31077716054212047702011-12-17T08:33:14.336-05:002011-12-17T08:33:14.336-05:00Con't

R...Con't

—Renouncing Irreligion or Ungodliness
Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord not to strive about words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. (II Timothy 2:14-16)

Renouncing ungodliness appears here in an interesting context. People in the congregation were getting into heated discussions about genealogies, meanings of words and technicalities of law. Paul called this ungodliness (or irreligion) and instructed Timothy to shun such things. These brethren had missed the point of God's way of life which Paul says is righteousness, joy and peace in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17). Being technically correct about a minor point is not as important as building right relationships through kindness, forgiveness, service and sensitive concern for others.

The word also appears in Romans 1:18-32 within a broad denunciation of obvious ungodliness, shown as the fruit of an unholy marriage of idolatry and immorality. When grace truly comes into a person's life, he must consciously repudiate and utterly reject ungodliness. That is, he must rid himself of the leaven of those sins. It will not happen all at once, but one must make a consistent effort in that direction.

This is an excerpt from this site below. I will provide another link so many can get what I am trying to say that may not be coming out quite right.

http://www.bibletools.org/index.cfm/fuseaction/Library.sr/CT/PERSONAL/k/478/Five-Teachings-of-Grace.htm
http://www.letusreason.org/Doct56.htmGGnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432851080052468710.post-52451841991769195442011-12-17T08:29:22.536-05:002011-12-17T08:29:22.536-05:00Dear Scott~

My health is primary but what has transpired this week is cutting me in ways I can no longer be a party to. I love your site, I love you for allowing all walks of life and personalities to come forth and walk in fellowship with you. It has been a wonderful time, though hard on most days lately it has been great to see others pull together like a family in the body of Christ to help one another.

My deepest apologies go out to everyone for this outburst this week through Stephens serious situation. I should have the ability to rise above the foolish behavior, but I too am flawed in this area and feel like this power of evil is higher than I can bear, especially with all the medical issues I have going on. It is producing foolish behavior by many and ultimately making a mockery of Gods will for our lives through your board. This could classify as folly. :)

I really have searched my heart on this and while I do forgive Sue, I can't partake in these cruel actions that started months ago. I come away from your blog irritable and with a warped sense of thinking and here is why...

While continuing to put words in people's mouths about what they intend, that is not knowing the heart of the person nor where they are in their walk with Christ, is self defeating. To add claim that this is what God wants out of us each and every day like we don't know; that does add to the presumptions and assumptions that we are not sitting faithfully in Christ as it keeps getting pounded to one daily. We are there, I promise. Because we don't say the magic words in her format, one continues to be berated, which is an abusive and honestly abusive of power. The Lord is not abusive and that is what this is representing on many levels.

I understand and have sat back quietly, maybe too long, on what she is saying about false teachings, mollycoddling as she calls it, etc. There is a greater problem here and that is we have someone, who is not trained to go out and properly teach though it is helpful, is lacking the fundamentals of leadership, the proper skill sets for such an undertaking while creating, unknowingly false teachings. That is just as serious of a problem as false doctrine. It takes many years to properly study and learn theology at the various institutes. In addition to learning, one learns how to minister to one's soul properly and even then they fall short, especially in these last days. It's a calling, not a right. One must encompass all that a servants heart and calling entails.

I say this not to add another hurt, not at all, but because as a teacher there has to be a full and well rounded thought process, followed with grace and love, and staying in the word of God (which is not the problem here) but producing the results of the Word. I know I am not saying this right because even as I type this, I fear another attack coming from Sue, which makes me have to either operate under her mindset or be verbally attacked, for that it is not worth it.

I am posting this morning because I believe we have lost sight of why God has blessed your site so. To watch people come and go over the last few months and call it's reasoning a lack of the Lord, or Faith or complete understanding, is also a great attack on our walk and personal relationship with Christ. It's one thing for us to seek and be told, but to be berated is horrible. It cannot lift one up and continue producing good fruit, but is doing the opposite and shriveling one up with a beaten up and dried out spirit.

These teachings that they speak of apply in many ways. We have many sleeping in the body of Christ. We have many having their ears 'tickled' for the church home to keep their flock. This is not the will of God, I agree. We are to be moved from babes to maturity in Christ. We are to be serving God better than this in these last days.GGnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3432851080052468710.post-29754627138738049932011-12-17T08:16:08.244-05:002011-12-17T08:16:08.244-05:00Hi all and I thank the latest Well Wishers.
