K Schwab And The WEF State That Gas Prices Should Be Higher To 'Save Democracy'

Klaus Schwab And The World Economic Forum Say That Gas Prices Must Go Even Higher In Order To ‘Save Democracy’ From Climate Change

The World Economic Forum (WEF) released a position paper Monday that inexorably links two claimed global crises as one – “climate change” and the “decline of democracy.”

...'Climate Change’ has very little to do with saving the planet, and everything to do with controlling the means of production when it comes to energy. It is literally all about power – political, financial and energy – and who gets to control it. The entire Plannedemic was and is about taking power, but it’s the power of darkness. The World Economic Forum is very, very dark, and the hour is very, very late.

George Orwell wrote “Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution, one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship.” The people who are currently seizing power to “save democracy” and to “stop Climate Change”, will never, ever in a million years relinquish that power. The path to obtaining that power runs through destroying America, destroying the fossil fuel industry, and setting themselves up as the authority. How do revolutions work out? Go ask Cuba.

World Economic Forum: Gas Prices Must Go Even Higher — to Save Democracy

FROM BREITBART NEWS: It says fighting the former can save the latter as long as consumers stop burning coal, oil, and gas in exchange for green renewables. The WEF paper argues for the past 15 years, democracy has been in decline worldwide. To protect and promote freedom, “leading democracies must strengthen their economies and safeguard liberty.”

It goes on to say ignoring progress toward a “low-carbon economy could put democracies in greater economic peril, not less” while repeating the broader demand of environmental activists for companies to stop investing fossil fuels. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has brought renewed focus on this economic weakness, the WEF says.

What is the answer for the U.S. and Europe? Pricing the alternatives to green energy out of the market. It says:

First, leading democracies should agree to end the underpricing of fossil fuels, which is the principal factor preventing a clean energy transition. The underpricing associated with producing and burning coal, oil and gas amounted to $5.9 trillion in economic costs in 2020. Nearly a quarter of these losses – $1.45 trillion – occurred in 48 major and smaller democracies.

The leading democracies of the G20 should collectively commit to phasing out cost and tax breaks for the production and consumption of fossil fuels. They should also phase in more efficient pricing of fossil fuels through taxes or tradable permits to cover the costs of local air pollution, global warming, and other economic damages.

The paper goes on to argue that compliance can and must be enforced.

Taxes can be imposed on carbon-intensive imports to reduce the risk of unfair competition for their domestic industries “and to deter companies from relocating overseas to avoid compliance at home.” Forcing other economies to reform their under-pricing of fossil fuels to avoid the penalties imposed by the policy should also be actively pursued, according to the WEF, with U.S. President Joe Biden already committed to punishing the fossil fuel industry out of existence.

  1. None of the nonsense described by the "Wants" of said entities, in my opinion,
makes sense and is Tyrannical usurp of undeserved power; The power belongs to the masses and the comfort for their well-being and prosperity in life with our natural resources minus claims of Agenda's that hold no reality for our present times, IMO!

Non-tangible taxes will never produce more or less of anything we have abundance of and needs for, it's a ruse to impoverish mankind and serve the few wanting more power; God's gift to mankind are natural resources, is the sun, the rain, the seasons, all of which man will not ever control even if tried IMO!

All things, people, experimented with will fail when doing so with evil in the equation, and is doing so before our eyes, so a return to what worked, works, and serves the majority should prevail. What works is NOT allowing a few greedy people to steal the rights of mankind through con jobs and must be stopped with God's blessings to help halt those evil deeds against his people!
