The Coming Third Temple In The News, EU Globalists Resent Israel's Nationalism

There have been a number of articles relating to the rebuilding of the Temple recently. The first article below comes from Terry James and presents a nice perspective on the building of the Temple in these days:

Just beneath the boiling surface of seething hostility there can be sensed a moving and shaking. Talk of the building of a Jewish temple atop the Temple Mount is beginning to escape into the back-channel atmospherics of the Mid-East misery. How can such not be the case? Every direction the student of Bible prophecy looks, stage setting for the final act of this quickly decaying age is already on the scene.
God’s land is being further divided (Joel 3:2), which portends God’s bringing all nations into the Valley of Jehoshaphat─to Armageddon. The Roadmap to Peace is being dusted-off and reintroduced as the blueprint for peace and safety for not only Israel and its blood-vowed enemies, but for the whole world, as insulation against the initiation of World War III.
The European Union (EU) is in turmoil. It is turmoil, however, that seems to have a smelting effect, preparing the iron of the legs, feet and toes of Daniel’s interpretation for Nebuchadnezzar — into their end of the age configuration.

Technological wizardry of every description has made possible the bringing together of all peoples of planet Earth into one world─the New World Order, so desired by the globalist powers that be.
The economic upheaval experienced by most every nation cries out for a master manipulator that will institute an electronic funds transfer system in order to bring stability and order to the financial distress and perplexity that bedevils presidents, potentates and dictators. Such a man can’t be too far into the shadows of emerging world togetherness.

On the forefront of religious change is the call for a melding of every form of pathways to Heaven. The pope and Islamist Imams seem to be forging a synthesis of sorts in discovering many ways to God, a thing unheard of until very recently. Protestant America in large part seems not oppose the feelers crawling toward their forms of Christianity. So-called Chrislam is appealing to them, and ecumenism beckons with allurement at many levels.
So, with all of this and much more going on, the talk of the building of a Jewish temple should surprise none of us. It is a key ingredient in the coming Tribulation mixture within God’s cup of wrath. The talk of late on the possibility of a Jewish temple in the making revolves these days around the words of a Jewish Rabbi.
The Nascent Sanhedrin is calling on Russian President Vladimir Putin and US president-elect Donald Trump to join forces and fulfill their Biblically-mandated roles by rebuilding the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.

Rabbi Hillel Weiss, spokesman for the Sanhedrin, contacted Breaking Israel News to announce that the election of Trump, who has promised to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, coupled with Putin’s expressed desire for the Temple to be rebuilt, prompted the Jewish court to send a letter offering the two the opportunity to act as modern-day Cyrus figures: non-Jewish kings who recognize the importance of Israel and the Temple… (BIN EXCLUSIVE: Sanhedrin Asks Putin and Trump to Build Third Temple in Jerusalem, Breaking Israel News, https://www.breakingisraelnews.com/78372/bin-exclusive-sanhedrin-asks-putin-trump-build-third-temple-jerusalem/#dGX8XEZip3ChWz9l.97

This train of thought, of course, conforms to the long-held opinions of some within the universe of those who observe matters involving plans to build a Temple on Mount Moriah. Bible prophecy foretells, through the vision given John, God’s Hand on the Tribulation temple. “And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months” (Revelation 11:1-2).
The prophecy indicates, according to those with this view that:
  1. During the Tribulation era there will definitely be a temple sitting where Solomon’s Temple sat.
  1. There is more than enough room surrounding where the temple must reside for the Muslim shrines to sit.
There is a ton of chatter going on about all of this within the Bible prophecy community. Many voices within this blogosphere hold that those Muslims who seem to be letting it slip (that Israel’s Arab-Islamist enemies might be willing to talk about accommodation of a Jewish Temple) must never be trusted. It is all being done for some surreptitious evil known only to the Imams and to the master architect of their evil blueprint─Satan.

The very fact that there is talk coming from Israel’s enemies about the heretofore, unthinkable possibility of allowing a temple on Mount Moriah is significant, I think. A phony─and deadly─peace is at the center of Satan’s blueprint for usurping the throne of God on earth. We can know this from Daniel’s account of the covenant Antichrist will confirm, assuring peace for seven years (Daniel 9:26-27). Also, Isaiah the prophet says so, (Isaiah 28:15, 18).
Satan intends to place his “messiah” right on the spot where the Holy of Holiessat, where the Ark of the Covenant resided within the Temple of Solomon’s day. So, I believe it is reasonable to look for the possibility of a rebuilt temple to become increasingly, front and center in news and blog-chatter as the age draws to a close.

The Jewish Temple Mount movement are excited over the recent election of Donald Trump. They know very well that rebuilding the Jewish temple in today's world would be a dangerous and politically incorrect task.

In their view, if there is any modern political leader with the guts and determination to stand behind such a project, it could be President Trump.

Biblically, many Christians affirm that the Jewish temple will be rebuilt at some point in the End Times.

Could President Trump's strong pro-Israel stand be the game changer which could help lay the groundwork? What role would President Putin play in the mix?

A number of Christian leaders have been comparing Trump to the Biblical King Cyrus. They point out that King Cyrus was a leader called and appointed by God.

Despite the fact that this Persian King did not know the God of Israel, God appointed him by name with the mandate to fulfil God's divine purposes concerning the nation of Israel.

President Trump, like King Cyrus, appears an unlikely champion for God's purposes. Despite the controversies swirling around him, Trump has though already taken action to re-align America with important Biblical values (such as pro-life) as well as making an unusually firm stand alongside the nation of Israel.

While several Christian bible teachers have pointed out similarities with Cyrus, few have raised the point that a primary part of Cyrus' divine calling was to order the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem (Isaiah 44:28, Ezra 1:2).

If President Trump really has a similar calling to King Cyrus, could it be that God would use this real estate developer turned President to facilitate the greatest property development of modern time - the rebuilding of the Temple?

Key figures in Israel's Temple Mount movement certainly are optimistic that Trump's victory could be the catalyst needed to bring their dream to reality.

Within days of the election victory, long time Temple Mount advocate and now prominent member of the Israeli Knesset Rabbi Yehudah Glick, issued a public call inviting Trump to visit the Temple Mount.

This call was followed days later by an open letter from the re-convened Jewish Sanhedrin. The open letter addressed BOTH Russian President Putin and the new US President Trump - asking them both to fulfill the Cyrus mandate of enabling the rebuilding of the Temple.

Rabbi Hillel Weiss, who serves as spokesman for the Sanhedrin, explained that Donald Trump's rise to power had 'made the eternal Jewish dream a very real possibility'.

Trump's strong stand in support of the Jewish claim to Jerusalem and the West Bank (Biblically known as Judea and Samaria) has led to the Sanhedrin to the belief that he could also support full Israeli rights to the Temple Mount.

There is great excitement within the Temple Movement in Israel that the time might be drawing near for the long desired rebuilding of the House of God.

While the Sanhedrin is obviously excited about the rise of Trump and rumours of Putin being supportive, it is still early days, and we have no definite statements from either leader to support these assumptions.

As believers we should none-the-less be watching these developments, praying for God's prophesied purposes to be accomplished, and checking our own spiritual lives to make sure that we are ready to meet the soon coming King.

A recent video from the Temple Institute concluded unequivocally that the Third Temple will not simply descend from Heaven, begging the question ‘Why don’t Jews begin building today?’ The man in charge of organizing the Third Temple construction thinks he knows what it will take to jump-start the process.
Last week, the Temple Institute released the second video in their “Holy Temple Mythbusters” series, titled “Falling from Heaven”. Rabbi Chaim Richman, the institute’s international director, opened the video with the question, “The Bet Hamikdash (Temple) is supposed to come down from heaven: true or false?”
Using rabbinic methodology, Rabbi Richman said that it is a Biblical commandment to build a Temple, as clearly stated in the Bible.
Like any other commandment, it is incumbent upon the Jews to perform it themselves, and not to wait for God to perform it for them.
Rabbi Richman’s conclusion is a challenge to those who maintain that the Third Temple will descend from Heaven, but it is a strong vote of confidence for those who advocate Jews move forward in this endeavor. As the chairman of the Temple Movement, Yaakov Hayman, is organizing the controversial effort towards building the Third Temple.
By profession, Hayman manages building projects. This is the practical way he perceives the Third Temple: a construction project accomplished in stages.
Hayman believes the first stage in that process is within reach.
“What we need now is for more Jews to go up to the Temple Mount,” Hayman urged. “When that happens, when thousands of Jews start going up to the Mount every day like what happens at the Kotel (Western Wall), prayer will just naturally happen. No one can stop that. It is a natural evolution from where we are now to where we need to be to build the Temple.”

Typical of the European Union (EU) practice, condemning Israel takes precedence over major developments elsewhere, including Iran’s dangerous testing of ballistic missiles that can carry nuclear warheads. The latest episode eliciting EU condemnation was Israel’s “regularization law.”  Israel’s satellite TV, I-24 reported on February 7, 2017 that, “The European Union condemns the recent adoption of the ‘regularization law,’ foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said, arguing it crosses a new dangerous threshold by legalizing under Israeli law the seizure of Palestinian property rights.”

What is at the core of the EU nastiness toward Israel is not so much the legality or illegality of the Knesset’s “regularization law,” but rather the unique nationalism of the Jewish state that runs counter to the post-nationalism and globalism of the EU.

Israel’s Supreme Court may strike out the new law, and the Israeli government Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit may not even defend the law before the Supreme Court.  Still, it would hardly be illegal for Israel to incorporate the area and extend its civil law there, while at the same time compensating legitimate Palestinian landowners with a proper deed.  In fact, the Israeli government already declared that it would over-compensate legitimate Palestinian deed-holders.

The fact that Jews can now defend themselves, and have done it successfully in Israel, against all odds, roils the Europeans.  The globalist elites of Europe do “cherish” the “murdered Jews of the Holocaust” but resent the living Jews of Israel.  The EU supports many of the NGO’s who fund the BDS movement against Israel.  The EU has now legislated labeling on Israeli products made in Judea and Samaria, albeit, in many cases made by Palestinian workers. Does it occur to the self-righteous Europeans that their labels conform to the old “Yellow star” the Nazis imposed on Jews?

Two World Wars that devastated Europe killed its nationalistic streak.  It exposed the destructive nature of European nationalism, and gave way to a more unified Europe, one that has lost pride in its religious, cultural and political achievements.  Instead, the EU worships multiculturalism and globalism.

Israel’s nationalism was different.  Following the Holocaust, forging a nation out of scattered Jewish refugees from Europe and the Middle East required vigilance and determination, as well as a strong emphasis on security, especially given the violent neighborhood surrounding Israel, and its hostile enemies.

The EU globalists have no regard for Jewish historical, religious, and spiritual connection to Jerusalem or Judea and Samaria - the cradle of Jewish civilization.  That is why France and her fellow EU partners including Spain voted for UN Security Council Resolution 2334, which considered the Jewish Quarter in Jerusalem and the “Wailing Wall” as “occupied Palestinian territory.”

Germany’s Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, a staunch supporter of the nuclear deal with Iran, condemned Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria.  He tweeted that “Israeli settlements in occupied territories jeopardize possibility of peace process.”  Belgium Foreign Minister and Deputy PM Didier Reynders, welcomed the resolution stating that “Belgium fully shares the position of the international community expressed in the resolution.” He added, “The settlement policy of the territories occupied by Israel is ‘illegal,’ and its continuation jeopardizes the possibility of a two-state solution.”

Most EU citizens, it shows, would be happy to see a total and permanent end to immigration from the Islamic world. To be specific: 71% of Poles, 65% of Austrians, 53% of Germans, 51% of Italians, 64% of Belgians, 58% of Greeks, 61% of Frenchmen, and 64% of Hungarians want Muslim immigration to stop. For good. Only in two of the ten European countries surveyed did a Muslim immigration ban not win the support of a clear majority, and even in those cases a plurality approved of a ban: in Britain, the numbers were 47% for, 23% against; in Spain, 41% to 32%.

How depressing that while more and more Europeans are snapping out of their self-delusions, all too many North Americans remain first-class dupes. According to the results of a Rasmussen poll that were released just the other day, 56% of Democrats actually believe that Muslims undergo serious persecution in the U.S, while only 46% think that Christians are persecuted in the Islamic world. What could be more delusional?

Meanwhile, a CBS survey showed that only one in seven Democrats consider Islam to be more dangerous than any other religion and that nearly seven out of ten Democrats think Islam encourages violence to approximately the same extent as other faiths. Insane. Not to leave Canadians out, on February 16 the Parliament in Ottawa will actually consider a motion, known as M-103, that would criminalize Islamophobia. It's a move that should elicit mass protests in the streets; but most Canadians appear to be far more worked up about Trump than about the prospect of their own government severely curtailing their free-speech rights.

From all this, it's hard not to draw a bleak conclusion: namely, that most citizens of Western countries don't come to their senses on Islam until their countries are so far gone that it's too late – or almost too late – to rescue them. Even bleaker is the determination of the media, academic, and political establishment to keep drinking the Kool-Aid even after the masses decide they're done. Just the other day, Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, insisted that immigration into the EU would continue no matter what. “Europeans,” she loftily pronounced, “should understand that we need migration for our economies and for our welfare systems.”

As if the Muslim tsunami were anything but a drain on Europe's economies and welfare states! Her opponents' views, Mogherini claimed, were “based on confrontation, instead of cooperation; on building walls, instead of building partnerships; on closures and bans, rather than dialogue.” Ah, “cooperation”! “Building partnership”! “Dialogue”! Imagine being so insulated from reality that you're still capable of buying into all that empty rhetoric. The sooner Europe can junk the EU and kick Mogherini and her ilk to the curb, the better. But what's to be done for America, where half the population, locked arm in arm philosophically with Meryl Streep and Lena Dunham, looks at the Islamic hordes over here and the Trump brigades over there, and sees the latter as a bunch of brownshirts?
