In the news:

By category today; there are a lot of pertinent stories:

1. Syria

Turkey ups pressure on Assad, calls for regime change

Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday called on Syrian President Bashar Assad to step down in order to stop further bloodshed, and Turkish President Abdullah Gul said that neighboring Syria has reached a dead end. Gul added that change is inevitable, but everything must be done to prevent the country from descending into civil war.

Erdogan to Assad: 'Your Days Are Numbered'

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned Syrian President Bashar Al Assad Monday that his days as a leader were numbered.

"You can remain in power with tanks and cannons only up to a certain point. The day will come when you'll also leave," Erdogan said.

Erdogan appeared to be responding to comments made by Assad in an interview published in London's Sunday Times in which he vowed "to fight and die for Syria" if faced with foreign intervention.

"This goes without saying and is an absolute," Assad told the Sunday Times.

Syria tensions mount with attack on pilgrims, PM lashes out at Assad

Tensions with neighboring Syria, once a close ally of Turkey, took a new turn on Monday as the Foreign Ministry announced that buses carrying Turkish pilgrims back to Turkey had come under attack in Syria and two were wounded.

Last week Turkey delivered a formal protest to Syria and evacuated its diplomatic personnel after supporters of President Bashar al-Assad attacked Turkish diplomatic missions. The attack on the pilgrims, on the other hand, was the first of its kind as it was carried out by Syrian soldiers, according to the accounts of the buses' passengers.

Passengers disembarking in Cizre, near the Syrian border, said they had been told to disembark at a checkpoint near the city of Homs by uniformed Syrian soldiers. One passenger said the soldiers started firing randomly at the pilgrims as they ran away after getting off the bus.

One of the drivers of the three buses and a pilgrim were injured in the armed attack.

“We had stopped at a checkpoint,” Sürmeli told the Associated Press. “Syrian soldiers emerged from behind sandbags and cursed Recep Tayyip Erdoğan when we told them we were Turks. Then they suddenly opened fire on the bus.” “They were hidden in their hideouts. ... These were soldiers, these were not civilians.

2. Iran

Iran Begs Israel to Attack and Be Buried

A top Iranian Guards commander has begged Israel to stage an attack so Iran will be justified to throw the “enemy’ into the “trash can of history.”

Revolutionary Guards Aerospace Force Commander Brigadier General Ali Hajizadeh told the Iranian Fars News Agency, "One of our big wishes is that they take this action because it is now a long time that we have piled up a huge potential energy and we are eager to spend it and throw the enemies of Islam and Muslims to the trash can of the history."

Iranian Nuke Attack on US Easy as EMP

Pentagon estimates show that Iran could have missiles capable of reaching the East Coast of the United States by the year 2015.

If the Iranians acquire a nuclear bomb, they might be able to cripple their "Great Satan" even sooner through an electromagnetic pulse, or EMP, attack off America's coastline.

A nuclear weapon detonated above the U.S. would emit powerful electromagnetic pulses, frying America's electrical grid and shutting down necessities from cars to computers to airplanes and refrigerators.

Iranian military handbooks point out the benefits of such an attack. Russia, China, and North Korea also possess EMP technology.

Russia warns West against 'unacceptable' sanctions on Iran

Russia on Tuesday dismissed the new Western sanctions targeting Iran's financial and energy sectors as "unacceptable," warning that such measures would hurt the chances of renewing talks with Tehran over its nuclear program.

3. More Information on EMP attacks

When the lights go out

An electromagnetic pulse is a burst of electromagnetic radiation from a nuclear weapon. If the weapon is detonated high in the atmosphere, above a target area, it can produce a radioactive pulse across a huge area. The effect could knock out electricity and fry sensitive computer processors, even a total blackout that could last months.

Some Americans fear Iran could get a lone nuclear missile onto a boat in the Gulf of Mexico, and detonate it over the central U.S.

4. Egypt

Egyptian Cabinet Resigns Amid Renewed Unrest

Egypt's state television reported the entire Cabinet submitted its resignation to the caretaker junta currently ruling the country

The Cabinet said it will stay on to run the nation's day-to-day affairs until a decision about their replacements

The resignation of the Cabinet on Monday came amid widening protests against the ruling military council, during which at least 24 protesters have been killed and 1,500 injured in the past three days.

The generals have also been widely accused of making a power grab in recent weeks for moving to stack the committee tasked with drafting Egypt's new constitution with delegates of their own choosing. They have also said they will not submit the military budget to civilian authorities for approval.

Protesters are demanding the military quickly announce a date for the handover of power to a civilian government.

Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood to enter dialogue with military government

Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood group said on Tuesday that it will take part in a political dialogue meeting, which the military rulers called for to end the current unrest in the country.

5. Japan's nuclear crisis

Fukushima: "Chine Syndrome Is Inevitable", "Huge Steam Explosions", "Massive Hydrovolcanic Explosion", "Nuclear Bomb-Type Explosion" May Occur

At present, I believe that there is a possibility that massive amounts of radioactive materials will be released into the environment again.

At the No. 1 reactor, there’s a chance that melted fuel has burned through the bottom of the pressure vessel, the containment vessel and the floor of the reactor building, and has sunk into the ground. From there, radioactive materials may be seeping into the ocean and groundwater.

We are now head to head with a situation that mankind has never faced before.

And nuclear expert Paul Gunter says that we face a “China Syndrome”, where the fuel from the reactor cores at Fukushima have melted through the container vessels, into the ground, and are hitting groundwater and creating highly-radioactive steam:

And the architect who actually designed Fukushima Reactor No. 3 – Uehara Haruo, former president of Saga University – told popular Japanese news source Live Door on November 17th that (translation courtesy of Fukushima Diary):

In this interview, [Haruo] admitted Tepco’s explanation does not make sense, and that the China syndrome is inevitable.

He stated that considering 8 months have passed since [the March 11th earthquake] without any improvement, it is inevitable that melted fuel went out of the container vessel and sank underground, which is called China syndrome.

He added, if fuel has reaches a underground water vein, it will cause contamination of underground water, soil contamination and sea contamination. Moreover, if the underground water vein keeps being heated for long time, a massive hydrovolcanic explosion will be caused.

6. The EU

Bilderberg Leader Mario Monti Takes Over Italy in "Coup"

Italy’s new Prime Minister Mario Monti (with wife at left), who rose to power in what critics called a “coup d’etat,” is a prominent member of the world elite in the truest sense of the term. In fact, he is a leader in at least two of the most influential cabals in existence today: the secretive Bilderberg Group and David Rockefeller’s Trilateral Commission.

Nicknamed “Super Mario,” Monti is also an “international advisor” to the infamous Goldman Sachs, one of the most powerful financial firms in the world. Critics refer to the giant bank as the “Vampire Squid” after a journalist famously used the term in a hit piece. But its tentacles truly do reach into the highest levels of governments worldwide.

Following the Italian government’s descent into the economic abyss that saw bond yields soar to record highs as the euro-zone began to come apart at the seams, ex-Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi decided to step down. And late last week, President Giorgio Napolitano asked Monti to form a new government.

On November 16, the new Prime Minister — who will also serve as Italy’s “Economy Minister” — announced that he was appointing an array of bankers, technocrats, and lawyers to lead the emerging government. After unveiling proposed reforms later this week Monti and his unelected team will face Parliament in a confidence vote.

Some of the nation’s political parties have already said they support the new leadership. But others, including loyal members of Berlusconi’s party, complained of a “coup d’etat” engineered by bankers and the European Union.

This development in Italy reveals an ominous trend in the world:

Listed as a member of the “steering committee” on the official Bilderberg website, critics say Monti has “establishment” written all over him. The shadowy group he helps lead includes a roster of the world’s real power brokers — media magnates, royalty, military leaders, big bankers, heads of state and government, key CEOs, and more.

The elite members gather once a year in total secrecy, sparking innumerable theories and widespread concern. In 2011 the group met in Switzerland and attracted more scrutiny than in the past.

But despite the attendance of influential reporters, editors, and media power houses, very little of substance was publicly revealed. It is known, however, that Bilderberg played a crucial role in erecting the increasingly powerful supranational regime in Brussels.

7. The U.S. (NAU?)

Canada-U.S. security deal to be unveiled in December

Prime Minister Stephen Harper and U.S. President Barack Obama are poised to unveil their long-promised border security agreement in Washington in early December.

The deal comes after lengthy behind-the-scenes negotiations involving a new plan that will see both governments co-operate and share more information as they adopt a "perimeter security" approach to the border.

Super Committee Not So Super...As Planned

When the 12 member super committee was dreamed up by Obama and his freakish liberal zombies in Washington, there was no intention for the “bi-partisan” group to pull off the spending cuts that they were tasked with figuring out. The triggers were supposedly put into place to encourage them to do their job, but in reality failure is exactly what the liberal democrats wanted.

The trigger gives them a chance to gut the military, and cut programs like medicare. . . for the soul purpose of blaming the republicans and touting their belief that we dearly need ObamaCare.

After two months of talks, all the members of the panel has managed to do is get on television talk shows, and blame each other for the failure.

What did you expect? They’re politicians!

The triggers include nearly $500 billion in defense cuts (The Pentagon is the bulls eye), and an equal amount of domestic dollars.

Did you notice that no cuts on entitlement programs have been suggested? Isn’t that where the hard choices should have begun?

They won’t make the cuts necessary to get America back on track because that would mean they would have to abide by the limiting principles of the U.S. Constitution, and God knows they won’t dare bring themselves to do something like that. Abiding by the Constitution, after all, would reduce their power - something political elitists can never bring themselves to do.

I keep thinking about how Christ will come as a thief in the night and that many will be caught off guard when the trumpet sounds. That to me says His coming will occur when people are living out a 'normal' day, a Noah day, a day that isn't filled with absolute chaos on a global scale. Since all these game changer events are teetering on the edge, I'd say that the rapture is even more imminent than ever before.

Agreed gearedup2go. That has been my mantra for some time now. The Days of Noah indicate not only an evil time but a time when it is going along like "business as usual" and it sure looks to me like business as usual is almost up on every front we are watching.

I'm hoping to be home by Christmas if not sooner.

This is in reference to your post yesterday and a link to a video.
I've been impressed with some of your posts and links however I must say that after I read more about Professor Walter Veith I found that he is part of the Seventh Day Adventists-- thoughts ? At the bottom of his Amazing Discoveries website there is a quote from the sda leader Ellen White. I did find his teaching interesting on the Pope and Islam however I would caution folks about his teachings on the rapture (which he does not believe in ) etc.

Well done; that is a very important 'catch'.

I didn't see anything 'off' about that particular video, so I didn't check out the source as I should have done. Such is the way of deception, and we all must be alert to that.

The SDA is a 'christian' cult and is to be avoided at all costs. A perfect example of being 'right' and 'nearly right' = WRONG!

It's no time to nod off. Keep watching!

The most serious of all the errors of Seventh-Day Adventism.

Seventh-Day Adventism denies the Biblical Doctrine of the Atoning Sacrifice of Christ as the only means of man’s salvation.

Seventh-Day Adventism denies the finality of the work of Christ on the cross, hence it makes Christ's last cry on the cross, "It is finished," to be a lie!

Seventh-Day Adventism declares Satan to be the joint sin-bearer, and the vicarious substitute of the sinner.

Seventh-Day Adventists teach that the Lord Jesus Christ inherited a sinful, fallen nature.

Seventh-Day Adventism believes in Soul-sleep after death and Conditional Immortality.

Seventh-Day Adventism tries to force the believer back under Law and so away from Grace, by their Sabbath teachings.

Speaking of radiation, I forgot Dutchsinse posted this a couple days ago:
Airborne Radiation levels - St. Louis, MO

11/18/2011 -- Test #1 -- 349.5 CPM -- Airborne indoor particulates -- St. Louis, MO

349.5 CPM (counts per minute) = 3495 over the course of 10 minutes.

(first test was 250+ CPM over 5 min - not on camera -- several more tests over the next few days forthcoming)

By all accounts, 100 CPM is the alert level for "high radiation". This means we are far over alert levels when it comes to small radioactive particulate matter in the air.

This boldly contradicts my previous findings from cross country measurements.. highest levels cross country were in Colorado @ 80-100 CPM

location : Saint Louis, Missouri
date : 11/18/2011 1200 noon CST

Method of collection:

electromagnetically charged particle collection plate 30 minute collection (stainless steel) -- ionic breeze air purifier collection plate

steel plate wiped with a fresh dry paper towel.. then placed on a clean glass surface.

Geiger counter is the "inspector alert" http://medcom.com/products/inspector-alert

Both paper towel and plate pre-tested for ambient background radioactivity (normal) on video.

I intend to repeat this test several more times as well as tomorrow (nov 19 2011) taking several outdoor measurements across the Saint Louis Missouri area using the same collection method.

Is that what E8 means - I did wonder about me drop in salary!

If only I had half a brain cell for things scientific ...
The thing is, I saw this radiation leak on Russia Today a couple of weeks ago and assumed y'all knew about it. What about those suspected underground explosions/earthquakes? Were they close enough to explain an escape of radiation???
Hmm.

Interesting comments on Japan and St Louis radiation levels, and thank you.

Didn't say anything ref the above article but, if true, this could be big time bad. I knew that was the logical steps in the melt down but waiting for it to be said officially.

If that "blob" has melted through as stated, then the spread in radiation is going to just keep building. I'm a touch surprised its that high that far inland in the US but its certainly not outside the realm of reasonable considering the prevailing winds.

If that's the case, its only going to keep building and in the spring its going to start showing up in the food chain I'm afraid.

Not good.

Also surprised that, if true, no one in the LSM or fringe is reporting the findings....unless they're just lulled to sleep and not looking.

OK, so the problem with stories like the one about the EMP attack by Iran . . .is that they seem to be missing some components that change the game.

"Pentagon estimates show that Iran could have missiles capable of reaching the East Coast of the United States by the year 2015."

Iran is already building missile launch pads in Venzuela . . .they don't have to wait for the technology in 2015. This is NOW!

http://www.jpost.com/International/Article.aspx?id=220879

Furthermore, it's the one thing I sincerely fear. It's my hope, the Rapture will precede it . . .but it might not . . .and then what?

gearedup2go said...

Robin, we might just get our molecules rearranged.

Caver said...

Robin, they have already modified freighters that can hide the missile and launcher. In theory, the missile can be loaded onto the launcher and fired from sea just a few hundred miles from our coast. I think newer Scuds(sp) were the rockets the launchers were capable of handling but fully capable of delivering a knockout blow to the US.

That was about 5 years ago and I think the number that had this capability was at 14 then.

NORMAL LEVELS ONE DAY LATER! UPDATE ! 1:35pm CDT 11/19/2011 -- three outside tests done 5 blocks from my house .. 70CPM , 64CPM, and 62CPM -- this means levels at my house are VERY HIGH.. and proves the ionic breeze collection method is not artificially highly radioactive... this is GOOD NEWS !!! for the world.. for me it means.. time to get RADON professionals and natural gas people out here asap

or it means yesterday had a high amount of radiation in the air-- and today its low..

one other thing .. it could have been aeorsols from cloud seeding (chemtrails) .. yesterday was a very heavy spraying day

Concerning the constant rumors of EMP and quite a number of other recent events and non-events, in retrospect, it's all beginning to stink like PsyOps fear-mongering!

Back in the early 90s a friend had a CD copy of the complete armee field manuals and one that was particularly chilling was on PsyOps - methods for conducting psychological warfare ops on an 'enemy' army, resistance, & population, causing distrust, confusion, and disillusion. But we know our gubmint would never use that on us...

Anyone remember Viktor Belenko, the Russian Mig Pilot who landed his MiG-25 "Foxbat" jet fighter in Japan and defected?? [1976] -Our techs started going over all of the 'sophisticated' electronics and started laffin' that the advanced Soviet avionics was based on old vacuum tube technology... ..until someone pointed out that vacuum tubes are not very susceptible to EMPs.

How long has the military known and been working on hardened equipment??

During the first US atomic test on 16 July 1945, electronic equipment was shielded due to Enrico Fermi's expectation of an electromagnetic pulse from the detonation.

Later, Operation Fishbowl was a series of high altitude nuclear tests over the South Pacific in 1962. The Starfish Prime explosion took place 250 miles above a point 19 miles southwest of Johnston Island and affected the power grid all the way over in Hawaii.

We've known for yrs... So - either we [domestically speaking] have done something about it ...or not [because we've been set up, as part of AP's plan]...And I don't doubt at all that it'll be another 911 false flag with Iran basking in the PR spotlight as the tuff guy who allegedly crippled us.

I don't buy, for 1 second, that our's, Russia's, or especially Israel's military equipment will be fritzed out of commission in the coming wars [I17-E38], especially since the Net and all visual coms will be working just fine in mid-Trib for the MOB and the 2 Witnesses!

Interesting points, DrNoFog . . .only problem is, the US isn't mentioned in the Bible. Some take that to mean its because the US is either no more . . .or much less significant. If that's the case, then what causes America's decline/demise? I think an EMP would fit that scenario.

EI, I'm discusted at the arrogance of that guy. All I'll say is please study the church's beliefs for yourself. I've been around long enough to learn to not believe everything you read. A lot of these site owners are in for the attention and to get the same cult following that they accuse their victims of.
I'm not SDA but I was brought up one. I'm not sympathetic towards the church but I do have greater respect for their beliefs since I've studied their doctrines for myself. Their problem is they draw a lot of spiritual parallels between the old and new testaments such as the goat who was sent outif the camp with the sins of the people. That's where they get the idea of Satan being blamed for the sins of the world. They say he will face ultimate responsibility for the condition of the world. As far as I can see they don't say that jesus took on a sinful nature but a human nature and they use Hebrews 2:17 as their scripture proof( Bible readings for the home page 57). Everything they teach is in the bible even if they are doctrinally wrong to us just as the Pentecostal church gets some of their heretical doctrines from their incorrect interpretation of scripture.
They teach the holy spirit, the divinity of christ they don't teach openly that Christ is micheal the arch angel. That is an idea which has been toyed with by church members over the years. They teach the trinity, and they major on the ten commandments as a way of a life of repentance. They lose me when they say that Sunday worship is the mark of the beast though I think and believe it will be electronic.
I don't believe Ellen White is a false prophetess. If you read her writings she would have to be one of the most Godly writers I've read in years, unlike some some of the money grabbing prosperity preachers I here preaching these days.

Is the Sevent Day Adventist Church a cult? I believe not. Compared to the rabble of today, no way!

David.

gearedup2go said...

Dave, thank you for your insight into the SDA church. Your statement of faiths being doctrinally wrong is an excellent point! In recent years I've been pouring over the bible rather than reading commentaries and quarterlies because I would rather have the instruction from the Holy Spirit rather than from men of the seeker/prosperity/emergent 'denomination'. I would rather err on the side of caution than to be mislead by misinformation.

As for the status of US in bible prophecy, I think the US will merge with the EU.

Hello Dave

The alerts are for believers who are as yet unaware of the false prophets Jesus warned us about in the last days. With respect, there is no way I want to get into a drawn-out discussion over any of the leaven prevalent under the umbrella of Christianity. The information is purposefully basic, as this is Scott’s site which deals predominantly with the upsurge of the political side of end time deception.

I am certainly not an expert on Cults; but I was an area representative of the late Eric Clarke of Christian Information Outreach which aided those caught up in the various cults. Eric had worked with the late Walter Martin, Ed Decker and Carol Matrisciana. I remember that many have been startled when realising the S.D.A. are a cult.

That said, I affirm my warning against the S.D.A. and false prophet Ellen White who plagiarised the writings of one William Miller. Neither walked in Sola Scriptura. It’s up to the readers here to find out for themselves the facts of the matter.

You and I can, I hope, disagree amicably. :)

Dave down under said...

No problem EI. Have a great day.

I was thinking along the same lines the other day geared up. I believe the EU could expand like a dying sun and absorb the entire world. But what you said about other faiths; commentaries can be good for me because I get curious about what people past and present have to say on a subject. But I will not let them define my doctrinal beliefs. Have a great day EI and GU. Dave.

"...Aside from the couple mentions of sabbath keeping...the vid on the Catholic-Islam connections should not be discounted in any way. It is 100% right on..."

Interestingly, Dr. Walter Martin's classic "Kingdom of the Cults", the earlier editions had SDA listed as a cult, but the later editions he had them listed as Christian, but misguided on some doctrines...

I haven't bothered to look at them in a long time...wonder if they've waffled around again and gone over the cliff...

Expected Imminently said...

Hello DrNofog

Yes, Walter did waffle on the SDA; but he did finally conclude ...

Tell ya what, let Dr. Reagan explain.

The Seventh-Day Adventists
Christian or cultic in nature?
by Dr. David R. Reagan
Christian or Cultic?

“…So, where does this leave us? Is the SDA a cult or not? I have proposed six tests. The SDA failed all but one of them — the one concerning the identity of Jesus. And there are serious questions about that one.

I am convinced that Walter Martin declassified the SDA as a cult in 1965 because he became convinced that they had an orthodox view of Jesus. To him, that was the acid test. I would agree that it is the most important one, but the group's perverted concept of the Gospel must be ranked as almost equal in importance because of Paul's warning in Galatians 1:8-9.

I therefore must conclude that the SDA should be considered a cult until they are willing to repudiate the "Investigative Judgment" doctrine and are willing to clearly state that the Bible, and not the writings of Ellen G. White, is their final authority in all matters.

After I concluded this essay, I decided to contact Dr. Ron Carlson, the man who is considered to be Christendom's foremost expert on the cults today. I asked him for a statement about the SDA, and this is what he wrote in response:

"As you may know, Walter Martin was my mentor and dear friend for 20 years and spoke at my ordination. I was to have lunch with him the day he died in 1989. Walter had a real influence on many of the SDA leaders in the 70's and early 80's seeking to move them to a Biblical position. Many were, and there was hope for the SDA Church.

What has happened in the last 20 years is that nearly 50% of the SDA pastors and leaders who were seeking to move it to an evangelical position have all been 'kicked' out or left the SDA.

The people who are now in control have moved the organization back to following the teachings of Ellen G. White and denying some basic doctrines of Biblical Christianity. In fact, their official position is that if you do not worship on Saturday you are not a Christian and will not go to Heaven. Sunday worship is the mark of the beast.

They are clearly today a false Cult."…”

I listened (but did not view) the video above mentioned. There were very good comparisms between Islam and the Catholic Church. I found nothing wrong with it ,except for the brief mention regarding "Sabbath keeping". I was surprised to learn later that it was by an SDA teacher. (Someone else "beat me to the punch" on posting it was done by an SDA teacher.)

It was in much more detail, but in the same vein as The Fuel Project's "Know your Enemy". This series can be viewed on line on You Tube. It was originally recommended on this blog and it is very good. They also have a Facebook page.

I have known a few SDA people and found them to be very works related, but have never been in their services or done further research. Thanks, Dave, for your insights .

Seventh-Day Adventist Eschatology
Compounding an Error

by Dr. David R. Reagan

“…Another characteristic of SDA end time prophetic interpretations is REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY. They teach that the Jews got what they deserved in the First Century when God poured out His wrath in 70 AD on Israel and Jerusalem. They believe the Jews have been set aside as God's Chosen People, and that the Church has replaced them, inheriting all the promises that were made to them in the Hebrew Scriptures.

The amazing thing is that these anti-Semitic views are expressed very strongly by two SDA spokesmen who happen to be Jews — Doug Batchelor and Steve Wohlberg!
In a book entitled Exploding the Israel Deception, Steve Wohlberg asserts that the book of Revelation must be read with "Middle East symbolism glasses" and not with "literal Middle East glasses."13 When read with symbolism glasses, Wohlberg asserts that we will understand that the prophecies apply to spiritual Israel (the Church) and not to literal Israel. The booklet concludes with a remarkable paragraph:

If you have been led to believe that the prophecies in the book of Revelation apply to an Israel in the flesh, these lies must be unmasked. If you have been taught that Revelation's statements about Jerusalem, Mount Sion (sic), the temple, God, Magog, Babylon, and the Euphrates River apply to those literal places in the Middle East, these errors must be shattered. If you have accepted the idea that the Antichrist will one day walk into a rebuilt Jewish temple during a final seven-year period of tribulation, this false theory needs to be blown up. If sincere people have convinced you that Armageddon centers around Russian, China, and the modern State of Israel, then someone must push the button which reads: "Destroy Global Delusions." It is now time to flee from all frogs and fables!

This paragraph unmasks the fundamental problem with SDA prophetic interpretation. They take a symbolic rather than a literal approach. Instead of accepting the prophecies to mean what they say, they spiritualize them, making them say whatever they desire for them to mean. They ignore the fact that the First Coming prophecies meant exactly what they said. Why then do not the Second Coming prophecies mean what they say?...”

Robin said "...only problem is, the US isn't mentioned in the Bible..."

I made no mention of US in the Bible because that's not the point. God's "camera view" is on Israel and the nations that have evil dealings with Israel. That puts Iran in the picture, but Iran's dealings with N.Korea, China, Pakistan, and US are irrelevant to the focus and do not put any of them in the picture, even tho we know they have assisted Iran's nuke quest.

My point is that history shows after wars, it will come out that nations that had dropped a bomb on their own foot will frequently give the "credit" to their enemy as the lesser embarrassment, and the enemy will willingly take the propaganda boost and run with it.

Whether Iran has, or will have that capability is irrelevant if it's to be done as a FF-Op... They would gladly take the PR boost. One of our own EMPs would make it all a "real enough" nightmare, but it wouldn't even have to be. If Bad O-man got the word from his controller, he could simply pull the switch on the majority of power stations, leave them off for a few months and, except for those who have back-up gens, without reliable means of communication, rumors would fly rampant with the chaos.

Wasn't that the point of the TV series "Jericho"... the gubmint nuked some of our own cities in a bid for dictatorship...

And isn't that what Hollywood does...telegraph 'their' intentions... [drum-beat: "Contagion", "EMP", "Contagion", "EMP"...]

I don't think that's anti-semetic I think that's good old fashioned stubborn pride. You need to look into the church's teachings and see where they're coming from. They refuse to update their prophecy doctrines with current world events, and if they did they would have to do away their beloved Ellen White and the traditional foundation on which they've built there're church. They are staunchly traditional minded and as a consequence they shoot themselves in the foot and look foolish when they do hold tight to their beliefs.

To say there're anti-semetic is wrong IMO just proud and stubborn. I will also say a lot of anti-zionsts will be using these teachings to justify their bigotry. But the church IMO is not in itself anti-semetic.

I promise I will leave this subject alone and say nothing else.

Dave, you used a good analogy regarding the sun absorbing the surrounding planets and the EU/future status of the US. I hadn't thought of it that way before. :-)

Thanks for your encouragement GU. I'm thinking the show has to go global because of the mark of the beast system. The bible says all will be compelled to take the mark. I guess the only way they can enforce that is to have a global dictatorship already set up. But like all dying stars they eventually self destruct.
What do you reckon?

Alright, Dr No, I read over these posts at least x3, so as to not miss, but you caught me : when plural it is "comparisons"
(By the way, are you really an English teacher ?)
Where is the spell check for which we are paying such a large fee ? :)

Dianne,
Due to my suspicious intuitions, and since blogger already has a built-in "spellchecker", I think Scott may be 'fiddling' with the funds after he posted this:

Scott said "...The prophecyupdate team spent all the money on spellchecker option :)..."

Quotin' meself: "...It wuz always about..." --- "...That tightwad Scott, usING a cheap blogger wif no grammah checker..."
;-D

Nah, I be over here an' I'm at least 7-9th Gen 100% Amer-rican.

EI is English, but I don't know if she's qualified as a 'teacher'.. 'cept if you count her passing on her '00' skills...
