IRAN: "We Have No Option but to Destroy Israel"

This stark warning comes from Iran's chief commander of the Basij Brigadier, General Mohammad-Reza Naghdi:

"No Option but to Destroy Israel"

In reaction to the recent assassination of Iranian scientist Dariush Rezaiinejad, chief commander of the Basij Brigadier General Mohammad-Reza Naghdi stated:

The main plot for this criminal act was conceived by the American government, and since it is scared of the reaction by the Muslim world due to the uprisings in the region, it had the Zionist regime commit the heinous act.

In order to protect the security of our country, we have no option but to have the Zionist regime wiped off the map.

We shouldn't be surprised, as we have heard this rhetoric from Iran before. At least he is being completely honest.

He has previously threatened to assassinate American generals in retaliation for the killings of the Iranian nuclear scientists.

Last Saturday, the Iranian scientist was gunned down outside his home in Tehran by assailants on a motorcycle. Since then, the state-owned Iranian media has sent out conflicting reports: first, that the scientist was a physicist involved in Iran’s nuclear program; later, that he was just a student studying for a master’s degree in electricity.

Iran’s Fars News Agency, operated by the Revolutionary Guards, claimed that the scientist was one of the researchers working on electric detonators which can be used on missiles or nuclear bombs. They stated that it was because of this activity that he was assassinated by the enemy.

The reaction by Iranian officials indicates that the slain scientist was an integral and important part of the Iranian nuclear bomb program. Said Tehran Governor General Morteza Tamadon to reporters during Dariush Rezaiinejad’s funeral procession in Tehran:

Undoubtedly, this was an American-Israeli project against our intellectuals and thinkers, with the aim of discouraging the Iranian nation from continuing the path it has taken.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani also said the assassination was planned by the U.S. and Israel:

The days of adventurous U.S. policies in the region are numbered, so the U.S. has turned to terrorist groups to cover up its failures.

Radicals ruling Iran are determined to make the bomb, and reports from Iran indicate that Iranian officials are now considering a measure to move all of their nuclear scientists, along with their immediate families, to a secure site such as the Parchin military complex.

It seems that a covert war is being fought, as Iran races to produce nuclear weapons and Israel has determined that for now, a covert war makes the most sense. It doesn't seem to be working as Iran seems undeterred in their nuclear efforts. That leads to the next question:

Will the effort to block Iran from their goal of nuclear weapons lead to an all-out war?

We know that ultimately, Israel and Iran will engage in all-out war; we just don't know what the final tipping point will be. But most certainly, Iran's quest for nuclear weapons and Israel's determination to thwart such ambitions are headed towards a climax.

We see yet another tipping point. Sooner or later we'll reach that tipping point - and when we do, the prophetic dominos will fall
and they will fall rapidly.

Meanwhile, we continue looking up for the bridegroom and His coming for the bride.

"Tipping point" is a good choice of words Scott. Who knows what it will be but it sure seems that the stage is completly set for Isaiah 17 Psalm 83 followed by Ezekeil 38-39 wars. No one wants to strike first but the one who does will have the advantage. I just can't see this dragging out much longer before the "fireworks" start.

Morning Scott :)
Yes, I agree, Israel has been fighting a "Covert" war, within Iran. We know they have boots on the ground there, no different than when they had Commandoes inside Syria before they attacked Syria. In Iran for a few years now, have been their convoys attacked, their military men attacked, etc. And just within a week, one of their top Nuke Scientist was "assassinated" according to Iran. Then there is the computer virus at the nuke plant. I believe that was just to buy time, while Israel prepares and waits for better timing. The U.S. wouldnt back them on attacking Iran. To be fair, President Bush, turned them down, because he was concerned for our troops, and the way Israel presented it at the time, he felt it couldnt be done. obummer, I believe, wont go for it either. Now things are different. Our troops are being drawn down from Iraq, Afghanistan, right? Israel I believe by attacking Iran from within, is softening the target. Israel does have modified F-16I called the "Sufa" which interestingly means "storm" in Hebrew. Israel had the fuel tanks modified, and so these jets can reach Iran, and back. Lets look at what Gods Word says about this :)
We know that Iran is not involved in the Isaiah 17 war. We know that Iran will not "nuke" Israel to destruction. In Ezekiel 38 war/invasion immediately following Isaiah 17, Gods Word tells us that Iran is weak. A tagalong with all the rest of the Gog followers. So, something will happen to Iran, to diminish their power. It could be an Israeli attack, at which point, Israel knows Iran would push their red button for Hezbollah to attack Israel, or it could very well be a giant earthquake. One thing is for sure, something will happen to Iran before most likely before Isaiah 17, and for sure before Ezekiel 38....
